Just Another Day

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She smiled again looking back down to the bracelet before back at him. "Yeah, I do. I never took it off. Literally." she said letting out a small giggle. It seemed weird not have seeing him in over a month.

 

[Algarus]

Adun chuckled and sat beside her. "Mine is part of me....so i actually can't. Its really good to see you again."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She smiled again making a little more space as he sat down. "It's good to see you again too. I missed you so much. Even with all of the wars going on and things I had in my head, I always thought of you." she said fiddling with one of the ewok beads.

 

[Algarus]

Adun scratched the back of his head and smiled. "I didn't know i meant so much to you Maia. I'm glad you got to embrace your roots though. I'm still working on things with Rayla...it's going good though."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia smiled and blushed slightly. "I mean, yeah, your my friend. And I had no one else. And it's good that things are going good between you two."

 

[Algarus]

Adun laughed and hugged her. "Sorry, didn't mean to embarrass you. I really appreciate everything though. You've been a good friend. Even if you caused me to break my leg that one time."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia hugged him back. It felt nice to hug him again and just be with him. "It's ok. And I didn't mean to break your leg. You've been a great friend too." she said with a small giggle.

 

[Algarus]

Adum gave her a skeptical look before laughing. "I hope so, that really hurt. Rayla was pretty upset about it."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She winced slightly hearing that. "I'm sorry." she said looking back to her bracelet for a minute

 

[Algarus]

Adun smiled and bumped her shoulder. "Hey it's alright. I wasn't mad, you had to make a point. It was just an extremely painful one."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She looked back at him returning the smile. "Yeah, I have to say though, I felt pretty anxious and guilty for five weeks. Last time I broke a friends leg, they tried to..." her eyes widened when she started. "Eat me... I guess. They got really angry. It was kinda hilarious, even though the masters had a little talk with me, they got quite a kick out of the moment of me running away from her and then karate chopping her down, knocking her out. That was my only choice at the time and one of them were encouraging it." her eyes stayed widened with a small smile on her face as she recalled the day. It was definitely a crazy one.

 

[Algarus]

Adun frowned at that. "Well, if they are trying to eat you they probably aren't your friend to start with....I mean....maybe it's just me but....that doesn't seem very friend like. I'm glad they didn't.....well eat you."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia giggled. It was a very crazy day and the girl had challenged Maia to a duel, so she up took the challenge and beat her, by breaking her leg, it was a rather quick move and she never meant it. "Well, we weren't the best of friends, but we got along for the most part.. except for when those kind of things happen. She was asking for it though! She challenged me to a duel and I did the same quick move that came from nowhere. Which resulted in her chasing me and the masters having a great time watching us. It was the funniest thing they had seen all day, since the one kid in the cafeteria scared the shit out of me coming in. That time was definitely funny. I even laughed after that one. And hit him. It was reflexes. Especially Master James got a kick out of that one."

 

[Algarus]

Adun smiled listening to her story. He had heard Maia mention her old master when they first met, apparently she had been with him longer than he originally thought. "I'm surprised she chased you with a broken leg. I mean, that's quite an accomplishment, you must have made her extremely anger for her to do that."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia giggled at that. "Yes she was pretty upset, and crazy."

 

[Algarus]

He shook his head. "You meet some really weird people Maia. And she sounds crazy if she's chasing after you with a broken leg, I had to limp around for a week after you broke mine."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

"Yeah, I guess so. Nobody had seen her that crazy before except for when she was on battles with sith or imperium. She ended up trading sides though. Now she's got a bounty on my head on Lothal."

 

[Algarus]

"We should go to Lothal sometime. I'd love to show you Balmorra....but that's the empires manufacturing base. Good ridence though, we don't need people like her in the order, makes us look bad."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

"Yeah no kidding. Master James chased her out after the incident. He had enough of her games. Especially when she messed with me. And I'd love to see balmorra. I'd give you a little tour of Lothal too."

 

[Algarus]

Adun sighed at the mention of his home planet. "Unfortunately, unless your a billionaire there isn't much to do. The ocean is considered environmentally unsafe because of the chemical testing they preformed there and the empire interrogates any one that doesn't salute every banner in town. I'd like to see Lothal though, what's it like there anyways?"
