Judge-Class Mandalorian

Crafted, maintained, and updated by the Veslor family of the Mandalorians. The Judge-Class is designed for urban combat, with impact defense and blaster resistance pushed to the fore. Made to supplement the Veslor currently serving in the military for the family.

LEGALITY

As Mandalorian armor, the Judge-Class is generally frowned upon in the more 'civilized' portions of the galaxy, but is not so extreme in design as to be unwelcome most elsewhere. It protects adequately, and thus is adequately legal.

INTENT

For the personal use of Jredd Veslor. I'm unsure if that's fine enough a reason for generic tech, but it is true. With Jredd, I am not so subtly going for a mesh of Mandalorian soldier and Judge Dredd, and a goodly part of this is the armor.

ADVANCED TECH
No.

Functions

Function 1: Jump Boots
  • This unusual technology- a precursor to rocket boots- is able to propel a person up to 10 meters beyond what a normal person would normally be able to jump, especially when armored. It is not capable of sustained flight, and requires a brief engine cool-down before it can be used again (1 post cool-down).
Function 2: Gription-Boots
  • Gription boots are a catch all term for footwear that contains electromagnets, repulsors, or other tech in the soles and allow for steady movement on ferrous surfaces in microgravity, steep gradients, and even upside down. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.
Function 3: Grapple Line
  • Grapple lines are capable of supporting the weight of 1-2 people and can launch up to ranges typically up to 15 meters away. Once no longer in use, they are detached from the launcher and left behind. While hand-held grapple guns are capable of auto-winching, armor or wrist mounted devices lack this ability. Grapple lines must be manually activated and controlled by a button or switch.
