Biography: Born as the son of Denonese immigrants on the planet of Alsakan. As a child, he grew up with a public park nearby. Many hours were spent wading in the stream, climbing up trees, and getting rescued by the grizzled park ranger when things got a little hairy.

One day at the park, he and some friends were walking along the trail when they got tangled up in some weeds. Eventually, they broke free but as they were struggling, they felt elevated in some way. They brought a sample of the weed back home with them. Here and there, they gave it a sniff, which brightened their day.

Not much later, his mom noticed them sniffing the plant and immediately took it away from them. Hours later, after a bit of searching online, a policeman showed up at their door asking him where he got it. He meekly said that he got it from the park.

After a month, Jotham noticed that the park ranger was gone and that the police were monitoring the park. The police eventually left and a new ranger took over. After another month, another ranger took over. Rangers kept on coming and going. Eventually, there weren't any rangers.

Meanwhile, Jotham was at a public school in his neighborhood. Unfortunately, the school was in a poor area as he was a son of an immigrant. Gangs often roamed the area and several times, he got caught up in bad situations. Terrified by the instances where he did get in trouble, Jotham spent most of his time at home or school studying hard so he could get out of the black hole he was in.

In his studies, he learned about the usual math, basic, science, and history. Of the four of those subjects, history fascinated him. Countless hours were spent reading up on how the Alliance formed and how Alsakan fit into it. Delving deeper, he looked back at the history of the Republic and eventually into the Alsakan Wars. As they spanned over about 14,000 years of history, each one was a vastly different story from the next. His mind was flooded with the immensity of so much time. At least until he noticed a little known figure from the Alsakan War of 13,000 BBY. A scientist who had fled from Xenvaer shortly before its destruction had the same last name as him.

Searching through archives he was able to find out what happened to Jacob Forsei. Apparently, he made it to Onderon which had been independent at the time and for a short while, amassed an empire. Surviving its destruction, Jacob had travelled throughout the galaxy in the years afterwards, eventually obtaining a wife and having children, a son being one of them. That son then had a son and so on. Eventually, that led to his father and thus to him.

Having found out that he did have ancestry in Alsakan, Jotham felt a bit more civically minded and tried to do what he could to get involved with community organizations. Not surprisingly, there were few but he got involved as best he could. A few were centered around cleaning up the area of gangs by offering other opportunities for their lives. Others involved environmental themes, themes that the Alsakans had fought for in some of the Alsakan wars.

One organization involved fixing up the park that had fallen into decay. Fallen trees covered paths that had eroded and were covered with vegetation. Trash from surrounding neighborhoods had piled up on the edges. Further in the interior, it was used for wild teen parties and they left trash everywhere. A couple years were spent merely cleaning up the area.

However, all was for naught when in a few years. A large corporation from the other side of the planet was trying to expand its reach. Since the park just belonged to the city, the corporation simply bought the area, cut down the trees, and leveled it so they could build their super center and parking lot.

Jotham was furious that the place of his childhood had been destroyed and that all the time and effort on his part had been wasted. Just about to graduate high school, he chose to go off planet where his childhood dreams hadn't been raped. So he went off to Naboo to study political science. Spending time on the planet was a blessing for him. Surrounded by the natural beauty of all the lakes and forests, he was able to relax despite his anger. He was also able to find some friends who were part of an environmentalist party on Naboo.

Reinvigorated, he went back to Alsakan for Law School where he specialized in corporate law. Some of his friends from Naboo came back to Alsakan with him. Working with them, he got involved with parties on Alsakan. After passing the bar, he began working for the Alsakan government and got involved with a case against the corporation.

It turned out that the corporation had been doing wildly illegal action and Jotham was in the right place at the right time to bring down the company. With his incredible popularity, Jotham was elected to several positions within Alsakan. After years of serving admirably, he was selected to be the vice-senator. Within months, the senator of Alsakan began developing health issues. By the end of his first year, he had suffered a heart attack and died instantly. Jotham then rose to take his place as the Senator from Alsakan.
