I've been meaning to post this at the beginning of this week. During the next couple of months I will be on as regularly as I was. This is due to me wanting to join the Navy after graduation. As it stands all I have left to do is a lot of credits. Lol, so after this semester I will also be gone for a good while at Basic. Sorry to anyone that this interferes with. :( So I'd say about 5 or 6 months is how long I'll be out.

I was considering joining, and I still might, depending on how the Syria stuff goes down. That's all several months away though.

Hmm. Sucks to see you going, but I'm sure it'll be an experience that will change your life forever. Do you have an exact date which you're going to basic? I hope for the best for you wherever it may lead, and hopefully you'll get some time to hang out with us on here afterwards :)

My best friend went to the Navy!

He served for about 3 years (during the Afghan/Iraq wars) before moving on to serving in the Marines. He's a combat medic now, still deployed overseas... somewhere? Not sure where he is now anymore though.
