Its already clear that Carud Aaray wants to become the leader of all mando's, catch is he has nothing to fall on or no one to lean on. Yes he could be like any typical normal lone wolf who hangs in bar's causing trouble but he could want more. Im thinking about Joining the Imperial Military to perhaps aid Carud to this goal. Do you sith think I should join you? Character in sig.

Mandalorians despise the Sith.

This is one of those moments where you should've asked someone before posting something like this.
And about the whole leader of all Mando's thing... I'm not even going to go there, for the time being.

Nutshell: If you want to work your way to the top of the Mandalorian Clans, joining the Empire is not the way to do it. You're more likely to get shot the second you head anywhere near the Mandalore.

Not really sure how things work around here but in my opinion you dont go off on a mission to depose of someone in a high ranking leadership position, who has worked hard to get there IRL. Unless you two have planned this out ahead of time. Like Cassa said, work your way to the top, dont take shortcuts.

Not quite what i said, but close.
Your character, for sure, can have the desire to be #1. And yes, that can be publicly shown OOC as well as IC.
As far as moving "up the ladder" at SWRP, there is a reason why the more experienced members are at the top of the respective food chain. We, meaning those of us who haven't been around here long (myself included), are given the opportunity to start at the bottom to give us all time to move up the hierarchy as we develop our IC and, more importantly, OOC understanding of the SWRP timeline and lore.

When in doubt, ask! ;)

True, the goal of being the leader of the Mandalorians will have to be a real long term goal since Vencu is in a solid position with almost no opposition.

False, Mandalorians are allied with the Sith. Any combatant with experience is appreciated in the Clans since they have something of an open door policy.

Whatthehell?!

I read like two days ago that the Mandalorians don't care -at all- for the Sith, blame the GA for their return, and the only reason they don't openly attack is because its stupid to attack the guys on the 'winning side'.

Were you reading the timeline sticky by any chance? Because after a year it's kinda outdated.

Your character is more than welcome to try, but joining another faction isn't going to help him and no Mandalorian in his or her right mind is going to follow a Mandalore that was put in his or her position by a foreign power. You earn the mantle. You can't steal it and no one can give it to you.

Thank you, so you think I should head back to the mando's?

The first thing you should do is research. If you knew anything about Mandalorians, you'd know that the only way to become their leader is to earn the respect of your fellow Mandalorians and then challenge the Mandalore himself.

There are many skilled and powerful Mandalorians and I'm certain that some of them have a much better chance than most at defeating Corden in open combat. However, without the respect of their peers, they won't ever be accepted. Boba Fett once said, "You can't rule Mandalorians. You just make sensible suggestions they want to follow. And since when have Mandalorians needed to be told what makes sense?" In other words, Mandalorians aren't blind followers. You have to convince them that what you offer as a leader is any better than the guy you're trying to replace.

As Boli stated, that article is merely outdated. After the Second Mandalorian Civil War, the Mandalorians aligned with the Chiss and the Imperium officially, but few know of the arrangement. It was never formally announced.

Clan Fett and Clan Bralor tolerate the Sith. They are wary of the alliance the Mandalorians have with them, as most Mandalorians should be. I wouldn't go so far as to say they don't despise them. I'm sure many do. Clan Ordo has close ties to the Imperium, so naturally they are used to working alongside the Sith.

Oh my Fett hates the Sith, but then he hates the Jedi as well. Actually he hates pretty much anyone who uses the Force.
