I like him too, but he'd be a better Vice-President. He's only been in the Senate for two years. The only reason people love him so much is because of his "Audacity of Hope" speech at the 2004 DNC.

You guys do realize that the Democratic party we have now is what happened when the New Democratic party was formed in the earlier years of our nation. The old Democratic party is in fact now our Republican party....lol. Random information I know, but still interesting.
Meh, some might have and some might not remember nor care. The fact remains, though, that after the things the Democrats recently stated that they were going to change, they still had a huge benefit dinner with lobbyists and celebrities in tow to celebrate their coming to power...$1000 tickets a seat that could have been used in some other more useful manner. A lobbyist put it best by saying not to bust their chops in the news to make a point and then still come to them wanting money for their political campaigns and re-election campaigns. Meh, we all know how greedy the politicians can get. Scratch my back so I can scratch yours. LOL
National Healthcare looks good on paper, but it's impractical, we would have to raise taxes, and people would have to wait for a year just to see a specialist doctor. I say we privatize healthcare, because the more government gets their hands on healthcare the more they get to tell us what to do, through the doctors.
