BIOGRAPHY

Jocasta Creel, better known as 'Cutter' to those who knew him best, was a former mercenary pilot turned disgruntled shipyard mechanic on the declining planet of Barancar. Years spent in harsh conditions beat most of the fight out of Cutter, who spent his days scavenging the hostile conditions of Barancar's ship graveyards for parts and pieces of tech to make ends meet. That is...until a Lancer class pursuit ship, damaged and spiraling out of control, crash-landed in the shipyard where Cutter was doing some of his salvage. By all rights, Cutter should have been dead on impact, but the man managed to scrape by at the cost of the pinkie and ring finger on his right hand, and irreperable damage to his lungs that left him lacking most of the stamina of his younger years, and prone to savage coughing fits. The bounty hunter, however, was not so lucky, and when Cutter realized the circumstances...The appeal of carving out a new life for himself, away from the Hellscape of the shipyards was simply too good to pass up. After his recovery, Cutter claimed the hunter's impressive sidearm, cobbling together armor and equipment from the wreckage, in addition to enough spare parts and prayers to get the Lancer space-worthy again (just barely). It hasn't been pretty, but 'Cutter' Creel has started to make a small name for himself as a reliable, if...unorthodox tracker for the Guild.

Personality

Life in a particularly Hellish corner of the Outer Rim has made Cutter an...interesting individual, to say the least. Self-deprecating, bordering on fatalistic at times, with a dry sense of humor, Cutter lives the life of a man who is continuously preparing for the absolute worst, moreso because it's arrival is an inevitability than anything else. He's implacable when he has a goal, and loyal to fault, with an alacrity for exhausting any and all options before gunplay.

Skills

Cutter is an above average pilot, particularly capable of keeping cool in combat situations. A capable mechanic, well-equipped to make the best of whatever is on-hand, even lacking two digits. He's a decent enough shot, but not nearly as good with his left hand now that his dominant right hand is crippled. That injury does make certain tasks exponentially harder to accomplish, and his the damage to his lungs saps his stamina and can often leave him in violent coughing fits at the most inopportune times. His luck...yeah. Not that great, but he makes up for it with an unwillingness to give up on even a seemingly impossible task. His ex-wife calls it 'pigheadedness'. He calls it 'resolve'.

Ship

The Mandrake - Lancer Class Pursuit Craft. Currently a shell of it's former self, held together by scavenged and discounted parts and sheer force of will as Cutter cobbles together the funds to restore it to its potential.

Droid

QC-27 - QC Series Astromech Droid. Cutter's companion & more recently, co-pilot, after the Mandrake was retrofitted with a jury-rigged astromech socket. QC isn't the best droid for the job, but he is the cheapest. Janky, forgetful, prone to fits of profanity...but the best Cutter can do right now.

Relationships

Kimiko Dray (Formerly Creel). Cutter's former co-pilot and ex-wife. They still care for each other, in spite of their...complicated issues.
