Jessica Lightrak's Training

[Nihilus]

"I don't know....it....it took me. I couldn't control my own body.....it appeared to be a man of power, a man of darkness...." she replied, leaving the end as a cliffhanger.
He eyes shifted around the room sololy, and there appeared to be nothing there. Was it real, or was it invisable to everyone but her?

 

[Jorax]

"Hmm...that's odd. I shall see what I can do. In the meantime, please, concentrate on soothing thoughts, and your happy place."

*Kyle thought for a moment, and then quickly knew what he needed to do.*

"I must leave for a short time, but keep the lights on, and let the Force become one with you. It will do you no harm."

*Kyle bowed, and left looking for the council member who could help this troubled child.*

 

[Nihilus]

Before her master could leave, she replied, "Yes, Master."
She blinked, then, turning her head, looked toward the bright light above. She closed her eyes and focused on the force, the light side, and the good she could do for the galaxy. She was determined to help.....No Sith could stop that. Yet, that is what many thought, and were seduced to the dark side. She would swear to never turn, not like her cousin.

 

[Matt]

*Dace knocked on the door and entered into it...He had been contacted by kyle before the training began and asked if he could join him and he was more then happy to help the young knight, he had heard very good things about the knight...Already fighting off the lure of the darkside after a small encounter with a sith lord, as he entered after a brief knocking on the door he smiled at all those inside*

"Hello Knight and padawan"

*He said with a gentle tone as he bowed his head to both*

 

[Nihilus]

"Oh, hello Master Hu." spoke the young Lightrak kindly.
Her heart raced, she attempted to distract herself.....she wished not to forget anything, and such is what they wanted to do. Why? The padawan had some ideas.....Jelif.

 

[Matt]

"You seem troubled padawan....What is wrong?"

*He could feel the confusion in the young padawan...Her thoughts were racing...though the force was not needed to see this...It was evident all over her features*

 

[Jorax]

"Ah, there you are Master Hu. I was looking for you."

*Kyle once again entered through those doors of the training room, and was happy to see that another was here to help his padawan.*

"Now, Jessica, I'm sure you've heard of Master Dace Hu here. Because you've been having these visions, he's here to help you interpret them, or most hopefully find the cause of them. He is quite talented at these sorts of things."

 

[Matt]

Ooc: My bad...I thought you were still in the room

"Well I will try my best but I wouldn't call myself talented....passable would probbaly be closer to the truth"

*He said this with a large smile..He knew perfectly well that he was good at this sort of thing but he felt that being humble went toe in toe with being a Jedi....He stopped his smile slowly as his eyes turned to the young padawan*

"Tell me off these visions"

 

[Nihilus]

"It seems to be my cousin....Jelif. He was once a Jedi, maybe he still stalks these halls? I heard he disappeared from the Jedi, nothing less, nothing more. Do you know what happened to him, Master Hu?"
Her eyes sparkled like a mirror, reflecting Dace's face and whatever she look at right back toward it. Her eyes continued to shift around the plain room, not understanding what was happening...and what would happen...

 

[Jorax]

*That name certainly rang a doorbell for the second time. Now he remembered. This one was the cousin of Darth Enmity. He had seen the monstrous being once before, and thought he was an odd fellow, even though he was a Sith. However, the Dark Side of the Force was a little bit more around Jessica, now that he noticed it. If that was the case, then it might take more than just a Knight for this kind of task. Time to ask a big favor of Master Hu. Through the Force, he sent a message only the Nautolan could hear.*

::Master Hu. This looks as if this young one is out of my reach of teaching. I know this is a big favor to ask of you, but would you give this one tutelage? I believe with your knowledge of neurology and such things, you could help her battle this darkness that resides within her, and teach her better than I. So, will you think about this?::

 

[Matt]

"I know off your cousin but I...well what I shall be telling you may be hard for you to take in....When your cousin died he was a sith lord...He was one with the darkside meaning when he died...He passed over into the abyss of the darkside...He could never be here...This is a place of the light...There is no taint of the darkside here...However there is a possibility that part of his spirit may of been imparted onto you"

*He knew this was quite alot to take in but it was the truth....Sad but true..He did not know her cousin personally but he knew off him and knew his story..as he pondered this he heard the voice of kyle in his mind...*

***"Do not undersell yourself kyle...Together we can help this padawan"***

 

[Nihilus]

"Yes, Master Hu." she spoke through a calm voice. "I do truly hope I do not follow his path, I will not."
She picked up her head to look at the man, her eyes glared, a small mixture of sadness and the lighting.

 

[Matt]

"As do I young padawan but to fight off the evils of the darkside....You must come into contact with it...Emotions that people feel...anger, hate, aggression....A jedi should be above such base emotions....Can you honestly say you never feel them?"

*He wanted to ask the padawana few simple questions...He was worried for her with the presence of her cousin obviously within her*

 

[Nihilus]

"No, Master Hu. I cannot say.....that I have been away from such emotions." she spoke, lowering her head.
"Yet, under proper guidance, I could steer away."

 

[Matt]

*Dace circled around the training area deep in thought....*

"Proper guidance can only go so far young padawan...Eery padawan, knight and master must look the darkside in the face and defeat it....not with a lightsaber, or giudance but with a strong mind and to remember the jedi code...I believe that only though a test can we understand how much your cousins's dark spirit is within you now"

 

[Nihilus]

"Yes, Master Hu."

 

[Matt]

*Dace smiled for a moment before he plowed on....He hoped she woudl live up to her promise and only though a great challenge could she do it*

"I would like you to travel to the planet of Naboo and make contact with the royal family there....The order needs to know where they stand on the jedi's exie...This mission is very important and no doubt there will be a sith presence on the planet in an attempt pre-empting what we wish you to do....This mission is very important...Do you believe you can do it padawan?"

 

[Nihilus]

"I do believe so....and more. With my force connection, I am sure there shall be Sith everywhere, sadly. But I will complete the mission in the name of the light!" she spoke in a promising tone.
She hoped she could find the royal family's depostion on such an important event- good or bad.
She believed in herself highly, and knew, if she truly tried, she could do such.
It was at that moment, directly after such words left her mouth, that she set way toward the hangar.

 

[Matt]
