“Well Toph, looks like we get to find some of our friends a new home.” Arai said looking down at the creamy furred Hoojib walking at his side. The two stepped out from the chilled caverns of the Jedi enclave and met the bright warmth of Arbran, the primary star within the system. His deep red eyes took in the flourishing Arbran landscape as his lungs pumped with fresh and clean outdoor air. This relaxed him mentality, easing his nerves about being on his first real mission in over ten years. One he was determined to accomplish since it involved finding a new home for the Hoojibs, the native species on Arbra who we has become good friends with, especially Toph.

Ever since the Jedi reunited, the enclave has grown a lot in population and honestly, it was just not enough room for everyone. One of the six Hoojib clans that he and a fellow Jedi Padawan, Cotan Sar’andor, discovered a few years ago decided that it was simply too crowded. The spokesman for their clan even voiced the concerns to the Master Novan, who then informed the council and now here he was on a mission with two other Jedi to find suitable and safe home for the small clan of Hoojibs. Toph was not a part of the clan that wanted to leave but he wanted to come since Arai was going. The twenty-four year old Padawan never denied his friend the chance to venture out with him. It was more the Hoojib’s planet than the Jedi’s after all and Toph could probably find a new home for his kind better than any of the Jedi that were assigned to this mission.

“There is a lot of Jedi now,” Toph said, scurrying up Arai’s cream robes and sat on his shoulder, almost rubbing his nose against Arai’s nose. “Most of us don’t mind but Yil's clan liked it better when it was only a few of you.” It was true, Jedi came and went on Arbra and to the hoojib it was probably like mass breeding. “Compared to ten years ago, we still are few.” Arai said while looking around for the two other Jedi who would be accompanying him on this mission. He didn’t know how long it would take to find the Hoojib a new home.

They were on an exploration into the unknown regions of Arbran and like always, anything not unknown presents itself with a potential threat. But Arai was no longer the same kid that didn’t know how to survive in the wilderness by himself, though glad that he wasn't alone. He understood the importance and advantage of being prepared for what situation he might have to handle. That’s why on his back was a brown leather backpack carrying food, a brown cloak, a few glow rods, power rods for Toph, bacta patches, rope, comlink, datapad, and rebreather mask. With his lightsaber clipped to his brown belt, he felt prepared as necessary for this mission. Now he just waited for the arrival of his teammates.

Jorda had just got the meeting place seeing a jedi and a Hoojib there he started to walk over to them knowing this was one of his teammates for the misson ahead. He had only just arrived on Arbra landing here from the Starship Light of the Force. He had been briefed on his misson, that he was one of three Jedi tasked with finding a new home for the Hoojib. As he walked over to this jedi he looked up at this bright Sun.

Jorda had learnt all he could about this planet before he touched down, how young there sun was what kind of terrain is around. He had arrived wearing his long Arkanian robes and wearing his black goggles. He brought along with him his Emerald Green Lightsaber along with some basic supplies.

As he got to this Jedi and Hoojib he introduced himself " Hello there I am Jorda Ellan from the Light of the Force it is a pleasure to meet you two " Bowing as he talked.

Sionann needed to continue her quest to better herself, and while not wishing to leave Arbra, she found herself getting roped up into Master Novan's request to aid the natives of the planet. She had wrapped herself up snugly in her very heavy dark brown cloak, keeping her hood up. Regardless of the temperature or climate conditions, the feeling of the heavy cloth wrapped around her was very comforting around the strange creatures she had yet to become familiar with. The Knight gracefully strode into view, carrying seemingly very little, though the bulkiness of her cloak told a different story. She had some rations in a small pouch around her utility belt along with some of the basic necessities, complete with some very strong grappling wire. Her saberstaff was safely hidden under the cloak and clipped to her belt as well.

"Knight Sionnan Ione," She bowed lightly back to both Jorda and Arai. "I have also answered Master Novan's call t..t..to assist."

She grimaced a little at the sound of her stutter coming out, but that when she felt a nudge against the side of her leg as a very large white cat emerged from the brush next to her, its head lightly making her cloak flutter with its reassuring touch. Sionann let her hand come out to rest on top of the tiger's snowy head.

"D..don't mind Neve," Sionann spoke to all three of them, her voice primarily focused on the much smaller Hoojib. "She will not bring harm to anyone here, and she can help us find that safe place we are looking for. But let us not waste any time."

There was an adventure to begin, and it was not going to wait for them any longer.

When he sensed someone approaching, Arai turned around and slowly, with semi-widen eyes, looked up at the tall blond haired man that approached him and Toph. The height of the man wasn’t the only thing to catch Arai’s attention but the dark goggles he wore over his eyes. If it wasn’t for the fact Arai could sense him through the force, he might have suspected him to be some kind of android covered in synthskin. He felt relaxed to hear Jorda Ellan, as he introduced himself as, sound like some species of organic sentience. Arai bowed with a slight nod of his head respectfully to Jorda and before he could introduce himself and Toph, they were welcomed by the arrival of the last member to their expedition and felt small compared to both other Jedi due to their heights.

Arai almost mistook the woman for a glamorously beautiful human because of her skin until he took noticed her pointy ears. She obviously was of a near-human species, a Sephi maybe, but not like any he has seen. He watched her courteously as she bowed and introduced herself as Sionnan Ione, a knight. In the midst of listening to her explain she was here to help them, Arai was slightly startled by the white cat that emerged and had Toph clinching to Arai’s shoulder. Hoojibs were frightful to just about anything that didn’t walk on two legs, but they were quick to relax around creatures that proved it wouldn’t eat them. “Does that thing have to come with us too?” Toph whispered to Arai in a panic, normal Hoojib behavior. “Toph, it’s only a tiger and if she says it won’t bring any harm, and then I doubt you have anything to worry about.” Arai told him with a reassuring warm smile.

“Jorda Ellan, Sionnan Ione, and Neve, It is a pleasure to meet the three of you. I am Padawan Arai Munkaira and this is my friend and Arbran native, Toph,” Arai said, gesturing to the hoojib that now scurried around his body before sitting on his other shoulder and fluffed up his ears as to say hello when too shy or scared to speak. “We both are happy that you all are with us and as we each has been briefed on our current mission, which is to find a suitable and safe dwelling for a clan of Hoojibs. The Hoojibs have been generous to let us Jedi live on their planet so it is only right and our duty that we be of assistance to them whenever they need it, however we can provide it. There is no telling how long we will be out here so I hope the two of you came prepared for this task. There is little next to nothing on the dangerous this planet may present to us. The only thing I can say is to be careful and stay mindful of what’s around you. With Toph and Neve helping us as well, this might be a little easier given their senses and innate abilities. Now, as Sionnan say, let’s not waste any more time with finding our native friends a new home.” Arai returned around from them and began to hike into the Arbran forest.

Jorda looked at his new companions for this quest knowing that they were going to have to work together to get this done. The first thing he Realised about Sionann was that she had a small stutter, he knew though that this means nothing and that she had more experience than him so should be respected. He also looked at Neve with a marvel amazed at this tiger after never seeing one before. " Its a pleasure to meet you both " he replied to both of the Jedi and the Tiger and Hoojib.
He also relished that Arai had Bright Red eyes which he found quite interesting, he couldn't help wondering thanks to his people always experimenting on human genetics he always wondered what caused certain humans to be different.

But at this time he knew it was no time to talk about it.

As Arai started walking into the forest Jorda followed on walking under the trees he enjoyed it a lot more here a lot cooler than out in the Sun. Looking around he realised how different planets were, he had spent too much time on board the Light of the Force hadn't been to many planets. As they carried on walking Jorda wondered what they would run into here.

Both Sionnan and Neve respectfully bowed towards the Hoojib, the Knight placing a hand across her waist and lowering herself while the tiger lowered its head with one paw forward. "We would be honored to to help the natives of this world find a better and safer place to live."

The Knight felt a bit awkward as she did the bow, thinking it was the right and respectful thing to do, but she was still not used to being in a diplomatic place, let alone amongst company. She could hear the voice of her master in the back of her mind reminding her that it was wise to put oneself in rather different situations, yet despite her seniority to them, the near-human stayed towards the rear of their little formation.

"Neve can f..find food and water should we run out," Sionann brought up as one of her hands stroked across the top of the great cat's head who returned the affection with a quiet purr. "Other than that I am prepared, these trees I usually practice on, but I do not kn..know if there is anything suitable for a settlement yet. There are many very dangerous and uncharted parts here, so please do be mindful of your surroundings." She felt her confidence come back to her knowing that she was the voice of experience here. "We do not know what is out there, who is out there, what awaits us. Remember above all, the Sith can be anywhere, along with those that aid them. Though, we are more likely to run afoul of predators."

A new adventure had finally gone underway, and Sionnan was just as paranoid as she expected to be, more out of preparedness than of concern. The Jedi were hunted these days, even she knew that, it was just a matter of time till she would run into that something yet again.

The reddish dark brown trees that conquered these regions were at least half to kilometer tall. Arai had been around them more often ever since they found the Hoojibs. The Hoojibs loved the outdoors and he understood why. He too preferred the natural setting, another reminder of his memories on Tython. However, back then he was ignorant and inexperienced in the environment to train but now things were different. “Me and Toph practice on these trees as well.” Arai said looking back at Sionnan with a friendly smile. His eyes then went to the adorable blue eyed -white cat that accompanied her. He had never seen one before like this one and its size made it intimidating. It was something about living creatures that he liked to be around and meet, especially animals.

“That’s always the worst part.” Arai said, recalling a distant time. “I once went on survival training mission back on Tython and got chased by a spider-bear that almost killed me because I accidently disturbed her nest. She was relentless in trying to kill me and you know what? She got killed by a Terenta that when tried to kill me. Thankfully, I was not alone but I learned something about being out her in the wilderness. The longer you stay out here, the more it is going to test us and show us all who we really are on the inside.” He said, glancing back up at the trees, fissures in between the trees showed the sky still blue, but he could tell the sun would start setting soon. Everything was more dangerous at night, not many ventured out in Arbra at not on foot or dared explored besides the knights and masters. This would be his first time ever out far from the enclave after dark.

Jorda felt the air cool so he knew night was coming soon he was looking forward to this ment he could finally see unimpaired. Looking around at all these bushes and trees he realised how long it had been since he had actually been in nature. Staring around he thought to himself it must get quite dark around here not much room to let the moonlight in.

" Arai " He called out " When it goes dark I can take the lead if you want I can see better in the dark than in the light so it shouldn't slow us down much?"

Hearing Arai talk about the Creatures that tried to kill him Jorda chuckled to himself remembering he had seen a Arkanian Dragon up close. But that was a tale for another time not during a mission.
