The camera panned over scenes of chaos and destruction, but multiple brightly colored sabers could be seen in the distance. The camera focused on a reporter that was addressing the public, “I’m here on Coruscant! What you see behind me is a scene of utter insanity! Beasts that people are referring to as ‘abominations’ are running loose across multiple Coruscant levels and causing mass casualties! However, Jedi are front and center on the ground! We’ve been getting reports that they are especially skilled in dealing with these monsters! While the Grandmaster’s whereabouts are unknown, the Jedi Order has answered the call of duty to mount a defense against these horrible creatures on both Coruscant and Byblos!”
Footage was shown of transports carrying away multiple civilians with the reporter’s voice overlaying the scene, “The Jedi are actively on the ground not only combating these monsters, but also leading civilians to safety and off the planet in collaboration with organizations like ISCRA, GHO and support from other large governments!”
The camera focused on her again, “Sentiments towards the Jedi have historically been negative in the Core, but the Jedi have come to its defense nonetheless to truly serve in their roles as protectors of the galaxy! Seeing as how they seem to be particularly skilled in dealing with these monsters and countering the horrors that Darth Raze has created, perhaps we should heed the words of Jayna Thorne and others that are calling for support of the Jedi!”
The camera panned to a few civilian survivors. There was a woman and a few of her children with her, “For everyone sitting on your couches complaining about the Jedi, I don’t see you down here! I don’t see you fighting here to protect our kids! I don’t see you sending your armies! But the Jedi are here! The Jedi helped my children and I get out and I watched them fight for me without me ever asking. We need help! Stop wasting time complaining about Force users and HELP THOSE THAT ARE ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!”
The mic returned to the reporter, “This is a developing story! We will report shortly!”
