Jedi Armor Forge on Starlight Beacon​

Forged in fire and formed under heat

this armor shall protect the jedi

in times of need​

The sounds from the forge can be heard through the halls, while you are walking towards it... *DONG* A Sound like a thunder rushes through the halls almost numbing your ears… the vibration of the strike rushes through the floor, which you can feel with every step getting stronger and stronger…


*DONG* You can feel the heat, increasing with every step closer to the entrance... The smell of iron floods the hallway, the floor is getting a bit darker and dirtier with every step, covered in soot...

*DONG* as you enter the forge, you can see, that a giant Zabrak hammers furiously on the metal… sweat runs down his forehead and a drop of it fell onto the glowing hot piece of metal, which instantly vaporized…


He stops, takes his giant pliers takes the piece of metal from the anvil, and holds it under the fire to make it formable again... The fire, burning in orange and red, immediately makes it glow… He places the piece of metal back on the anvil takes the hammer... *DONG*, he flips it on the side...


*DONG* *DONG* *DONG* Sparks chip of that metal, which flew at his working clothes, then bouncing off to the floor… glowing all the way, till the dust and soot take away the heat… Slowly but surely this piece of metal formed into a flat piece, which Maag carefully placed onto the heat again… waiting for the right temperature, he looked at the entrance and sees you standing there: “Welcome, I have to finish this, before it gets cold… please take a seat...”, he said while pointing to a table, where some chairs were placed next to a wall full of armor pieces he had made…


He then turned around, taking the metal of the heat and placing it on the anvil again, to actually bend it this time with a smaller hammer… *DING, DING, DING*, this time the sound wouldn’t be as ear numbing, yet far brighter than the last strikes… After forming it into a shape, which could be a armor-part for the upper arm, he looked at it, while holding it with a smaller plier… In the light, he turned it around a little bit, smiled and placed it into a water-bath where it could cool off…

Then he turned around, smiled and threw the previously worn gloves onto the anvil and walked to the table where you would eventually sit and saying:

“Welcome again, thanks for stopping by… it is an honor to meet you… how can I help you?”

[Ty Reus]

Ty Reus didn't think he would need armor, he doesn't battle all that often. But something tells him that sooner rather than later in the near future he might find himself in a battle. Jedi don't often wear armor, or at least whole sets. But in the uncertain times ahead, when Jedi are in the middle of wars, maybe having a set wouldn't be a bad idea.

So the Justiciar thought he would stop by the local armorer who has set up shop on the Starlight station. And upon arriving, he would then take his seat.

"Hello there." he would wave his hand while smiling "Honor to meet you too". He would then look around the place, eyes widening. "Wow, this is a mighty fine set up you have here" he said.

Without further a do. "Alright then, I am in the market for an armor set." he stated with a faint beam. "Are you able forge a protective chestpiece, covering back and torso?" That would be his first request, he's not too picky about what material for those. "I would also need gauntlets made of lightsaber resistant material." Phrik or cortosis-weave material is what would be needed.

That should do it, Ty Reus doesn't want to be encumbered wearing armor covering every inch of his body, he imagines he would want tor remain agile and maneuverable. If the armorer would have more questions, Ty would answer them. The Justiciar is eager and intrigued to see what the Master Armorer can do.

Reus' personal armor request​

Maag felt humbled about the compliment he received for the forge... although it wasn't his own forge, he got provided all the gear and material that he would need... The requests for armor increased over the last months, so he decided, whenever he wouldn't make personal commissions, he would produce some armor sets for the Jedi in times of need...

If Reus (@The Good Doctor) would look around, he would find a finished Jedi armor on a armor stand:

Though some of the Jedi were hesitant about wearing armor, since some thought, it would send a wrong message to others, because they did not want to resemble aggression... Maag understood this argument, yet wearing one, would massively decrease the amount of hurt or killed Jedi. Maag liked working for the Jedi, nearly all of them were kind and very pleasant customers... They also understood, that these armors take time, to become a worthy instrument...

After hearing Reus saying, that he would be in the market for armor, he was excited about what his idea was. He told him, that he wanted a protective armor piece, covering the torso and the back, as well as gauntlets which would be lightsaber-resistant...

The request was not easy... but Maag wasn't one to hesitate on accepting challenges... so he said: "Very well... this sounds like a very reasonable request... although it might take me a bit to plan the gauntlets... they are not easy and I would have to measure your body to make it fit perfectly... also be assured that I will make the armor as flexible to your movements as possible... Do you have any special wishes regarding the design of the armor... like engravings or something like that? You can take a moment to think about it... in the meantime I would measure your body size with the bio scanner..."

Maag turned around and got the bio scanner, after some seconds he would transfer the data onto a projector, which would show Reus full body in a 3D-Model... looking at the 3D-Model, Maag stood there, in a typical thinkers pose, thinking about what he could make for this Jedi Justicar...

[Ty Reus]

Ty Reus looked at the other set of armor and smiled. It is a good quality work. He thinks he made a good choice by coming to Maag Trith's forge.

And he was assured he would have maximum flexibility with the armor, which is good. Now as for any the questions, Ty would answer while getting himself scanned. "No special engravings." he answered. Ty isn't doesn't think he really cares for anything really ornate. "Although I suppose a small Jedi Order symbol in the gauntlets would be pretty cool" the Knight-Justicar said.

Ty Reus would be able to answer any more questions. He's not impatient, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't curious on how the whole armor forging process works. This is a neat set-up the armor has, he can see the full body model of himself from the projector. Really cool stuff.
