DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Across his back Jayums bears the scar of a sword slash across his back, and though now faint, the mark serves as a reminder never to lower his guard. It lies diagonally at the base of his spine, on the left side. It doesn’t cross over the spine, but it is close.

STRENGTH: Thanks to his training, Jayums is stronger than the average youth of his build, though it isn’t his strongest point.
DEXTERITY: Jayums is quite athletic and can do advanced gymnastic moves such as cartwheels, backflips and handstands. The strengths of Jayums lies in his acrobatic skills and his applications of that acrobatic skill in combat. He is also skilled in the ways of the force that allow him to manipulate his own body or others, which makes him a formidable close range fighter. He is also decently skilled in unarmed combat, the gauntlets he wears further improving that.
His weaknesses lie in the fact that he is susceptible to long range attacks, as he is not skilled in long range battles and he is easily influenced and charmed, especially by that of power, as he wishes to have it to defend all that he holds.

The Sword of Damocles is an ancient lightsaber passed onto him by his father, who found it during his travels. It is an ordinary lightsaber with a silver blade, the hilt being slightly larger than normal, coloured black and slightly curved.

Jayums Gauntlets are obviously worn over his arms and hands, reaching from halfway up the forearm to the finger tips. The entire thing is made from thin and flexible durasteel, making it a very good defensive shield for his arms.

Jayums carries round a Bryar pistol with him in case he loses possession of his saber or if he is resorted to using long range combat. It was issued to him when he signed up for the military.

PERSONALITY:
Jayums is a generally positive individual with a pleasant personality, a kind teenager. He is usually happy, always having a grin across his face, even if he is upset, he hides it with the same happy expression. He finds it easy to develop strong friendships with the most stubborn of people and seems to make a room light up when he enters. Jayums is not exceptionally bright, but intelligent enough to make good use of his common sense.
Jayums is also a very caring and compassionate boy, not afraid to open up to someone he knows, not unwilling to listen to others problems. He also has a strong sense of right and wrong, though he generally prefers to be in the grey inbetween, never being good to the point that life is boring, always doing something fun, but never committing serious wrongs, which keeps him for the most part out of trouble with the law. He has a very strong will and has a desire to protect anyone and everything close to him with all his strength, and will do so instinctually.
HISTORY:
Youth in the Sands -
The sands forever blew by the wind in the moisture farms of Tatooine, swirling around and sucking up the coolness of the air, the dry, barren landscape a seemingly inhospitable place for mankind. And yet, they lived there. Ga’Ri Ko’Lins was a widower now, with only his 6 month old son, Jayums, to look after. His mother had died shortly after childbirth form an infection and dehydration, not an uncommon way to perish in the deserts, but a hard hitting blow none the less. Ga’ri was an Ex-Jedi, a knight level Jedi in his prime, but left the order after he met his true love and settled down with her for three years. They spawned a son in the form of Jayums, and Ga’Ri saw fit that the Son should follow the Father. As he grew, Jayums was introduced to the ways of the force, the way of the Jedi, the ways of Light. Jayums, while not picking them up at some extraordinary natural speed, absorbed the knowledge like a sponge, taking in everything around him. Even at the age of three he was moving his toys around with the force instead of handling them. He was a born user of the force. Proud of his Son, Ga’Ri alerted the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to his boy, asking them to take him for formal training. When the Jedi arrived to take his boy away, he gave one of them a box to give to him once he had become a Padawan. Inside this box was a lightsaber, the one owned by Ga’Ri when he was a Jedi, a saber he found during his travels.
The Order –
On Coruscant, Jayums was granted the title Jedi Youngling and was brought up within the Temple, an active child who was always smiling, always happy. While the Order tried to repress emotions, his happiness could never be destroyed, and so the Order decided to let him keep that smile, which was full of Light. He was trained, trialled and tested during his time by various Jedi Masters in his classes, and though he never came top, he was above average. His speciality lied in movement, speed and acrobatics, able to perform advanced movements with ease. It was because of this that he was put forward to train in the Ataru style. He advanced quickly and at the age of twelve, he was promoted to the rank of Padawan, ready to be taken as an apprentice. At the age of thirteen, he still hadn’t been picked as an apprentice and the Jedi still tried to squash his smile. With that, he turned his back on the Order and joined the Military, taking his saber with him.
The Republic Days –
Jayums signed up for the Military, and even though he was young of age, he was a trained Jedi and for that they accepted him into their ranks. He took great interest in the weaponry aspect of the Military and signed up into the bulk of the Military, the armed forces. He wished to be viewed as a normal soldier, and not a super powered weapon because of his abilities with the force. Jayums underwent many missions, much training. He learned how to wield a blaster effectively, the inner workings of a blastr and was even given his own one. He learned how to keep a steady hand while aiming and became a good shot with it, able to hit a target from over half a mile away with a standard blaster. His most difficult mission was two and a half years after he signed up; he was assigned to battle during the outbreak of the war between the Hutts and the Republic on the mid rim. His squad was assigned to capture a small outpost on Leritor. During this mission, three out of nine men in his squad were killed within the first fifteen minutes of the raid, while the other five died during the course. Jayums, at a huge advantage thanks to his use of the Force, the ability to use a lightsaber and his accuracy with a blaster managed to kill the remaining mercenaries, criminals and slaves that had amassed the Hutt military at the base. After this brutal display of power, the military promoted Jayums to Corporal. Honoured by this, Jayums took control of a 9 man cell and continued proving himself to be a worthy soldier, but in the process, saw things he wished he hadn’t. He left the Military, not wishing to see that form of violence anymore, at least at the front lines and started to wander the Galaxy, trying to get away form the war, which he knew would be impossible, but also to defend himself and others from that same war. As he travelled, he learned that he was being hunted by mercenaries thanks to some humiliating defeats on the Hutt side. The Hutts had hired mercenaries to stop him from ever being a danger again. Jayums decided to keep under the radar, adopting some new clothing, shaved his head and took on the alias Damocles.
