APPEARANCE:
Jax is muscular, but not bulky. His face is smooth and void of any blemishes except for a short scar that runs through and above his left eyebrow, as well as some dirt that always seems to be present on his face. His eyes are a vibrant green color and his hair is medium length and dark brown in color. He has one tattoo on his right shoulder of some sort of bird.
ATTRIBUTES:
Jax is quite skilled with using a blaster and hardly misses. He has above average speed and endurance, and is able to effectively sneak past guards or anyone else who stands in the way of him and his target. Jax isn’t very charismatic, and isn’t very convincing, which comes to bite him when discussing the price of a bounty. When it comes to hand-to-hand combat, Jax swings slowly and clumsily. He also has a short temper and an itchy trigger finger, which gets him into trouble often. Jax isn’t easily persuaded unless its by someone he is attracted to, which happens to be most women he meets.
PERSONALITY:
Jax isn’t very social. He doesn’t ask questions, and expects none asked to him. When given a job, he does it without hesitation, that is, if the pay is right. He prefers to shoot first and ask questions later, and this can end up coming back to hurt him in some cases. He gets angered easily, and has an itchy trigger finger, which results in lots of unnecessary injury and even death. You do not want to get on his bad side. He isn’t gullible, and he isn’t easily persuaded; that is, unless it’s a female doing the persuading.
BIOGRAPHY:
Jax Endar was born to a poor family in the slums of Coruscant. His father was a bounty hunter, though he wasn’t well known. Jax loved hearing stories about his father’s bounty hunting days, and always expressed a fascination with the profession. Jax was determined to follow in his father’s footsteps, and began practicing with a blaster at the age of ten, with the help of his father of course, and by the time he was sixteen he had become quite proficient with one. Jax was proud of his father, however those around him didn’t seem to share this pride. It seemed that everyone who knew his father knew him as a scumbag, including his own wife. Jax was often bullied because of this, and grew to hate those around him. He developed a short temper, and he often started fights, a few ending in blood and broken bones. This did nothing but multiply his community’s hatred of him and his family, and they were eventually run out of their community. It all became too much for Jax’s mother, and she left them. Jax’s father began to frequent a nearby cantina, often returning home drunk. One night, when Jax was sixteen, his father didn’t return home. Jax later heard the news about a bar fight between five or six people, resulting in the death of one of them. Jax knew who it was, and he began to hate the world, blaming it for his misfortunes. Knowing that he couldn’t stay in the slums forever, Jax took what he could from his home and ran away, determined to finally begin his career as a bounty hunter. He encountered a local group of young hunters who, impressed with his skill with a blaster as well as his ability to sneak past guards, asked him to join their crew. He agreed, and travelled with them for around a year or two, taking on one bounty after another. Jax eventually left the group, as he was practically being used by them, being given only a miniscule fraction of their pay. So he set off into the galaxy, in search of fame and fortune.
SKILLS:
Jax is a proficient marksman and gunslinger, and a decent pilot. He is also an excellent sneak, which makes him desirable for missions involving assassination. He is also light on his feet and possesses above average speed and endurance, allowing him to chase down his prey.
