My man is strong, right? I hope to one day be at that level. What's it take to get a trainer round here? Or, for that matter, where would I do some self training. Really just looking for any kind of RP at this point.

As for training, I can't right now. I am in a load of threads - quite a few of which are training - a the minute anyway, and I have too many apprentices as it is. I'd definitely recommend looking around the Jedi boards though. Someone is usually offering classes or group training.
