PERSONALITY: Jake is a strong reliable man. He always give all that he is when he commits to a cause or mission. Confident but not arrogant he is brave even when facing great challenges and numbers. Jake is a bit headstrong and not very creative in his plans usually thinking of the quickest if not always the easiest root to active his goals. Charming Jake likes to talk to people especially the ladies.

BIOGRAPHY: Jake was born on the planet of Nar Shaddaa, he was raised deep in the slums by his mother. Jakes mother was a gambler and deep in debt to a local crime lord. She sold herself into slavery to help pay off her debts and to protect her son. Young and alone Jake was living in the streets of one of the worst cess pools of the galaxy. At age thirteen Jake joined one of the many strong gangs of the slums of Nar Shaddaa The Black Syndicate hoping to make a name for himself. He spent the next three years climbing up the ranks fighting in brutal street fights and participating in robberies and smuggling. He earned the name Lyon after one of his most brutal hand to hand fights.

At age sixteen Jake growing tired of the street life started a new wave of crime increasing the number of attacks on enemy gang territory. A local crime lord named Tavis Curgh seeing an opportunity for a strong enforcer in the future came to Jake with a proposition to join his own syndicate. Tavis offered to fund Jake for formal training in the use of swords and blaster marksmanship as well as allow him to move into his own own room on Tavis's own compound. Jake seeing his chance to leave the slums agreed to join him.

For the next two years Jake was trained to fight with swords, blaster and his mind. He taught manners and charm by Tavis himself having become fond of the boy over the past two years. Jake was happy with this life but new someday that Tavis would call on him to fight his enemies. Not long after this Tavis's daughter Angela Curgh returned home after complete her formal education offworld. Jake was instantly smitten with the young lady and set out to win her affections. At this time Tavis called on Jake to start fighting in underground arena matches. Using the training from the past few years Jake quickly beat out the lower fighters and started fighting against harden veterans of the arena. Jake lacking much experience in terms of actual sword combat didn't have much luck against the top tier fighters. After losing one of his last matches Tavis seeing that Jake just lacked experience pulled him out of the arena started using him as his enforcer.

In the meantime with his winnings from his arena matches Jake bought Angela many gifts hoping these would win her over. Angela though she liked Jake shot him down time and again, but she enjoyed the the attention he gave her. Jake never gave up hope that she would fall for him and continued to show her his full attention.

Over the next year Jake acted as Tavis's enforcer with brutal efficiency tripling the crime lords income. Jakes experience as a fighter as grew as time passed as enforcing his bosses will often left Jake on the wrong side of blades and blasters alike and after a year Tavis felt it was time to put Jake back into the arena ring.

Jake once again climbed the ranks to the veterans tier and after many brutal matches and close calls he earned the right to face the champion of the arena a man named Christian Kane. Jake seeing this as a chance to impress Angela Curgh vowed to win the match for her, but Tavis seeing this a chance to make a boatload of creds ordered Jake to throw the match. Jake now conflicted between his vow to Angela and his loyalty to Tavis had no idea what he was gonad do. As the match began Jake fought hard with all his might against the skillful warrior named Christian Kane. After a brutal match the flow of witch went back and forth many times it looked as if Jake was beginning to weaken and Kane went on the offensive landing several critical blows to Jake. Jake still torn between Love and Loyalty finally made his choice. Jake started fighting back from near defeat put all his strength in into his strong sword blows until Kanes own sword shattered. Seeing that he had the advantage Jake attacked with a furiously quick blows that knocked Kane knocked unconscious. As he stood in the arena victorious Jake looked to Tavis and knew there would be hell to pay for his betrayal.

As Jake left the arena he was immodestly ambushed by Tavis's hired goons. Jake didn't put up a fight and was captured and taken to Tavis's compound. Bound in chains Jake was brought before Tavis who demanded to know why Jake had turned on him. Jake told him that he was in love with Angela and that he had vowed to win for her and couldn't throw the match he had to protect what little honor he had left. Tavis sneered and roared with anger and ordered that there was no room for love or honor as a criminal. He ordered that his daughter be sent off world and that Jake be taken to the torture chamber to teach him a lesson. For three days Jakes screams echoed through out the halls of the compound.

Hardened by the torture at the hands of Tavis's cronies. As soon as he was strong enough to Jake went back to being Tavis's top enforcer working harder than ever before plotting to get off of Nar Shaddaa. Fate had other plans. The First Hutt War broke out and Tavis seeing a chance to make easy money began gun running and double dealing with the hutt empire. Making him a prime target for the republic. Seeing his chance for revenge Jake contacted the republic and offered to take down Tavis Curgh. In exchanged Jake would be moved off of Nar Shaddaa and placed on coruscant the republic agreed.

Jake put his plan into motion using the funds hes been saving from working for Tavis he hired the biggest gang in the slums of Nar Shaddaa to stage a riot at the Tavis compound. Using this distraction Jake infiltrated Tavis's throne room. Jake pulled his sword and challenged Tavis's to a duel. Tavis's seeing that once again Jake had betrayed him became enraged pulling his sword from its scabbard he attacked Jake with hard and fast blows. Jake being the younger and stronger of the two fought back dodging and deflecting the sword blows. The battle felt like it raged for hours though it was only minutes. Jake wore the aging crime lord down before finally striking a mortal wound to Tavis and escaping into the night.

The republic seeing that Jake could be a valuable asset offered him a new deal. Work for the republic and all his past crimes would be forgotten Jake seeing this as his chance to redeem himself for all the evil he had done working for Tavis agreed.
