Jaikus' Sith Armor
A custom set of armor tailored by @Jaikus Altaris to aid him in the covert missions as a Sith and any combat situations he might find himself in - designed with a primary focus on maintaining a full range of motion without excessive weight.
The helmet is armorplast with additional internal padding. It is also equip with a voice scrambler, enviromental filter and comlink. The bodysuit is a layered verpine durafiber and armourweave, designed to provide some protection against unpowered penetrating damage with a fine, durasilk cloth outer layer. The chest piece is segmented armorplast plates over the bodysuit to allow maxium manueverability while not sacrificing protection. Armored phrik vambraces cover the forearms, wrists and top of the hands while leaving them free to move - with fine leather gloves covering the fingers and palms.
The suit comes with an optional Zeyd-cloth cloak and hood, though it is usually omitted.
LEGALITY
Yes. Nothing about this suit is inherently illegal. The armor is designed to easily blend in if worn under a jacket, robes, or something of the sort, but the helmet might draw a few looks (though still not illegal in most systems).
INTENT
To introduce Jaikus' personal Sith Armor. Mostly cause it looks badass. Also cause it should have a write-up.

Type and Coverage
Type: Light
Coverage:
- Head: Full armorplast helmet, providing coverage to the front and back of head and neck.
- Torso: Segmented, armorplast plates over armorweave bodysuit.
- Back: Armorweave underlay.
- Upper Arms: Armorweave underlay.
- Lower Arms: Phrik vambraces - forearms, wrists and over hands.
- Upper Legs: Armorweave underlay.
- Lower Legs: Armorweave underlay.
Functions
Function 1: Voice Scrambler
- For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
- Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 2: Armorweave Accessory (Bodysuit)
- Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
- Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 3: Filter
- Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
- Force User Compatible?: Yes
