Jadis Venati was a female Sith Acolyte, alchemist, and artist during the Force Eternal Era. Jadis Venati was born and grew up on Naboo. Jadis' parents were successful business owners and artisans and she benefited from their wealth and influence in her early life.

Jadis' path was set to follow the footsteps of her parents until she discovered her own latent force sensitivity. The young woman decided to keep it secret as she decided what to do about this new discovery. It was during this time that she came under the influence of a Sith. This cemented Jadis' future as she undertook a secretive tutelage with the Sith and began to learn how to harness her newfound talents through the Sith philosophies.

Jadis lived a double life as she continued her study of the arts, mundane and Sith. The young woman kept her parents in the dark about these developments and continued to take advantage of their funding of her studies that they knew about. When it came time to attend University, Jadis selected the Zeltros Academy of the Arts due to its proximity to the Umbaran Sith Academy. With her parents somewhat reluctant blessing and more willing funding, Jadis embarked to begin her new life on Zeltros... and a more secretive and darker life on Umbara.
