BIOGRAPHY
Jacob was born to a small family on coruscant. They weren't by any means to do well, but they got by standard, unordinary, normal. They kept their heads down and did what they were told, they were actually big supporters of the empire, admiring the sith and the order they brought. Though they wanted more, they were content with what they had.
But fortune and misfortune happen to come hand in hand strangely enough. At the age of 16, When walking home from a show one night with his younger sister, they were caught up in a firefight between the authorities and some sort of rebels or gangsters, Jacob wasnt sure what. He tried to get his sister out of there, but a bolt caught her in the spine paralyzing her. Overcome with anger he lashed out, his force sensitivity manifesting for the first time in a wave that turned the tide for the authorities.
Shortly after taking his sister to the hospital for treatment a member of the Sith temple arrived, offering him a place in their ranks, and not only that, but to ensure that his sister would receive the best treatment and that his family would live comfortably for the rest of their lives, the sith took care of their own after all. Jacob couldn't refuse, and so he left with the man after saying goodbye, atleast for now, to his sister and parents.
So he moved, halfway across the planet where he spent the next few years in the Sith temple, learning how to serve the Imperial Republica, how to make a difference.

Personality
Jacob is passionate beyond all else, he cares deeply for many things, particularly those close to him and will fight viciously to defend them. However he hides this well as he knows it can be used against him.
As for other traits he does his best to remain calm and tries to be charismatic as best he can, why bother using force when you can convince someone to give you what you want willingly? That being said he's not above using force or excessive violence to get what he wants, as per part of his training.
He sees some of the value of strength the Old Empire has but doesn't particularly care for its overly turmoltous and violent forms of government where people like his family might suffer, that being said he does like the idea of merit based ruling.
