WEIGHT: 77.11 Kilograms (170 Pounds)
SKIN COLOR: Dark Olive Green
EYE COLOR: Silvery Grey

RANK: N/A

APPEARANCE:
Above average in height and athletic in build, Kree-Vos is very clearly a capable warrior - few would make the mistake of underestimating him in a fight. Despite his strong form and the intimidating appearance of his dark complexion and feline eyes, he carries himself with a cool, calm demeanor that speaks to the deeper parts of his more-traditional character.

Likewise, his choices of attire are often reflective of his personality; pragmatic and in regard of the occasion. On the hunt, like many Sakiyans, he wears full-body jumpsuits or lighter armors designed to fit his form and allow full freedom of movement, relying instead on his speed and skill to protect him from attacks. For formal events, he tends to don elaborate robes in accordance with his traditions, though these still allow maximum range of motion and express practical designs and colors.

ATTRIBUTES: Like many Sakiyans, Kree-Vos holds a natural physical advantage over many other species. His reflexes, strength, and senses are superior in many ways to the average human of similar size and skill; resistance to extreme environments, vision capable of seeing into the infrared, hearing acute enough to hear a grub-maggot burrowing in the gravel, and discriminatory smell as keen as any hound make him a flawless hunter and tracker, while his well-developed but lean musculature make him stronger than a human of his size and build by at least 1.5 times. He has a predator's intelligence as well, rational in thought and action and housing a variety of skills useful to his chosen career.

However, he is not without his weaknesses despite his natural advantage. His keen senses, just like in the various animals he hunts, are vulnerable to over stimulation, forcing him to wear a protective visor in full-spectrum light to prevent damage to his eyesight. Weapons designed to assault the senses, such as sonic weaponry, are extremely effective at disabling him. Due to the nature of Sakiyan biology, dendritoxin is considered extremely lethal, and though he has many physical advantages, his bones break as easily as a humans. However, despite those weaknesses, his perhaps biggest flaw is his commitment to the traditions of his people. An insult to his honor, or the honor of his clan, can spur him to act recklessly and without recourse. Also, common among the Sakiyan species, he holds a mistrust for non-Sakiyan races due to their somewhat isolated culture. This, coupled with an inbuilt sense of superiority due to their enhances physical traits, often causes Kree-Vos to seem distant and aloof.

PERSONALITY: The Sakiyan people have a proverb, "Survival demands efficiency," and Kree-Vos embraced the saying long ago. His actions are primarily driven by logic and reason, carefully weighing the risks and rewards of his decisions. Like the Rodians and Trandoshans, the Sakiyan people are a hunting culture, and often see themselves as self-assured predators in a galaxy full of prey, causing them to come off as aloof and arrogant towards less well-evolved species and Kree-Vos is no different; he also shares the same lack of humor that his species is known for, and very much dislikes being proven wrong.

More than anything, Kree-Vos is most defined by his commitments to Sakiyan traditions. He is an honorable individual, embracing the concepts of monthrael - personal honor - and yithrael - pride honor. Both demand he treat strangers with respect, and he remain extremely loyal to his friends and clan. He also holds himself to an ancient hunter's faith, and his religious beliefs are intertwined with his honor very closely to the point that prayer is a second nature to him as his training.

Kree-Vos has a few personality quirks worth mentioning; when excited, his pulse races and causes his skin to flush a darker shade of green, almost black. This is most notable when he is riled to anger, and is not uncommon among his people. He will also noticeably tremble, like a twitching cat just before it pounces. This response can be controlled with meditative breathing and focus, but when caught by surprise or upset it is an uncontrollable reaction.

The second is in regards to his religion; Kree-Vos holds certain superstitions to heart, such as seeing a flensor circle a bonepit as a bad omen. He prays fervently and often, even as so far to pray in the middle of combat. Often, when tasked with a difficult decision, he will reference the teachings of his faith alongside his predatory instincts before making the call.

BIOGRAPHY: Kree-Vos was but 6 years old when his assassin’s training began on his homeworld of Saki. Much of his time as a child was spent being molded into what his father needed him to be for the legacy of the clan, often in the middle of grueling exercises like standing barechested on a pole while the waves of the Kaasban Sea crashed around him.

His first kill at 12 was a human; a convict who had offended the Assassin’s Guild. As a test of his strength, Kree-Vos’s father arranged for the two to fight in the arena at Iepatap Harbor. It was a clumsy brawl, and he nearly lost his life during the melee, but he was victorious nonetheless. Over time, Kree-Vos became more and more proficient a killer, even to the point of taking on multiple close-range opponents simultaneously.

For many years, he upheld the honor of the Jaa clan admirably in the eyes of the Assassin’s Guild to which they were bonded. However, that exceptional loyalty seemed to have no bearing on the decision to exile his clan for a failed job.

Kree-Vos had been assigned to kill a Jedi, his very first, at the behest of a very important client who offered a fortune for the target’s death. Weeks of planning went into the job. After infiltrating his way on-world to Corellia, he tracked his target to a religious service in the heart of Coronet City. He drew a bead on the robed figure, center mass, but just as he was pulling the trigger a civilian intervened, leaping in front of the sniper shot and shoving the target from his sights.

Kree-Vos attempted to reload, but by the time he could line up a second shot, the target had disappeared into the crowd. For two more weeks, he attempted to relocate the Jedi, but the man had seemingly vanished into thin air. Begrudgingly, he returned to Saki and reported his failures.

The series of events that followed formed the backbone of the person Kree-Vos would become. After reporting his failure to their mysterious benefactor, the Guild received orders to excommunicate not only Kree-Vos, but his entire clan. He was ostracized even by his own people, having lost his honor in their eyes.

In response, the Jaa clan scattered across several Sakiyan-controlled systems to seek out new honor for their clan, including Kree-Vos. While some thought it best to make amends with the Assassin’s Guild, including Kree-Vos’s father, others scattered to find new paths for the Jaa clan.

Kree-Vos, holding the responsibility for the ostracization of his clan, thought on how best to regain their honor. He had considered joining his father, and seeking to rejoin the Assassin’s Guild. However, he couldn’t help but dwell on their betrayal, and he couldn’t allow himself to believe that even if the Assassin’s Guild took the clan back, there would be nothing to prevent them from betraying them again. Instead, Kree-Vos traveled to Ridgetown and turned his skills towards bounty hunting, seeking to redeem both himself and his clan through the glory of the hunt.

SKILLS: Kree-Vos, if anything, is a consummate professional of the trade. He has at least a working knowledge of the skills required for a bounty hunter thanks to the extensive training of his youth, and is more than a sufficient warrior for when things go south.

Kree-Vos has a limited knowledge of piloting, mechanics, skulduggery, and other such useful skills to a former assassin. Enough to fly a commandeered vessel, but no professional pilot, hotwire a door, or pick a pocket, etc. He can also perform basic maintenance on his own equipment to keep it up to par with the demands of the job, but he certainly will not be repairing a vessel that's been grounded by a Republic squadron on his own.

More of his focus revolves around the skillset of the trade; he is an above average combatant, an extremely competent survivalist and tracker, and exceptional marksman. He is a well-versed infiltrator, and has decent knowledge of sabotage and reconnaissance operations.

GEAR: Kree-Vos has no typical kit. He chooses to remain versatile, and brings what is necessary for the job at hand. However, let's consider this a record of any acquisitions he might have, and a working log of equipment and personal belongings.
