Hello everyone!
I was just wanting to inform everyone, mainly those that I'm participating in threads with, that I will most likely be out of commission for a few more days. The reason behind this you ask?
Well... over the past few days my wife had been experiencing some pains that seemed unusual in regards to her pregnancy and due to her being in a car accident a few weeks ago, we grew quickly concerned. We visited her OBGYN and some tests were ran, turns out that our concerns were nothing to be worried about... and were in fact tale-tell signs that our daughter would be arriving shortly. Having already been through one pregnancy and not experiencing these pains, due to my son being breach and forced to have a C-section making the whole delivery process planned to the date and time, making for a smooth arrival of our little man, Wheylen Lee... she was unsure what was happening this go round. It turns out that the pains were in fact Braxton Hix (spelling) contractions and a precursor to the event that I was woken up to this morning.
My wife woke me up informing me that her water had broke and we rushed to the hospital. She has currently been in labor for nearly 18 hours and as you can imagine is completely done with the whole thing. She is regretting not taking the doctors advice and getting another C-section, instead opting for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth after C-section)... she is hating life at this moment in time. Through, the pain she keeps asking me if I'm excited... and I can't express enough how eagerly I await the arrival of our daughter, Ember Rose.
I would say I'm sorry for my departure for the time being, but that would be a lie. I wouldn't miss this for the world and will likely be consumed by the experience for the coming days. I'll try to get on and get a post up when I can, but don't expect much activity out of me for the next few days at least. I'm sure everyone will understand though.
Stay tuned for more updates!
