"I will be damned."

Shaan stood up from where he'd been playing cards with the former Grand Moff upon one of the watching towers. The Grand Moff was gone, probably fleeing from the fight, and that left Shaan staring in amusement at the onslaught coming towards the Warlord. "Well then."

He had a fairly good position, looking down upon all of the attackers. His tower was positioned along the wall that faced the incoming ship, giving him a nice vantage point. Shaan focused on the old, pedophilic looking, Jedi. As the man was flying towards the Barabel in his speeder Shaan fired four bolts from his A-140 before the man had an opportunity to flee the speeder bike.

The Nameless One had just reloaded his Sunspear, a tricky task with one hand. Suddenly a speeder bike came through the hole in the wall followed by a pair of the strangest beings he'd ever seen. The unconventional assault had taken him by surprise, and the Nameless One could only watch as the group sent a flurry of rockets towards the warlord.

Some card playing storm trooper, answered with a couple rockets of his own. He must've been playing a high stakes game. All these propelled explosives were making the Nameless One a bit nervous. He aimed his sunspear at the being with the jet pack and fired three shots (@Relent)

The Nameless One then transitioned his aim towards the being that had been on the speeder bike, who had previously been shot at. He would target him now, firing two shots. His weapon would be close to over heating now, so he put it back onto his belt and grabbed a few additional power-packs from the table. Then, he began to move, seeking cover behind one of the structures in the base.

Szebat's togue flicked the air, as it tasted of un-spilled blood. More were coming, but not many. He didn't know how many, until he turned to see the two distant figures on speeder bikes, as well as a third in the air tailing closely behind them. Szebat widened his stance, crossing the blade of his greatsaber behind him gazing outward at the trio, rolling in, from the distance. From the looks of things, it had appeared the Jedi found a Mandalorian who didn't hate them as equally as Szebat himself to join them on this mission. A low guttural growl bubbled upward, from Szebat's chest, as they came near. One of the Jedi on the bike had launched himself off of his speeder bike, aiming for it to run, full-speed at him.

Knowing he only had a few seconds to react, the Warlord activated his armor's jumpjets, and leapt backwards, with aid from the Force, for added , up and away, to avoid the Speeder bike, as well as the cluster-bombs, as they detonated where he once stood, avoiding the brunt of the attack. However, because of the assistance from the other Jedi, whose pull on Szebat afforded enough resistance to Szebat's retreat to damage the lower leg armor. With such damage sustained, Szebat was left unharmed, though the armor received minimal damage, due in large part to the armor's resistance to explosives and fire, but the legs sustained some damage to them. They were still whole, and could take two more shots from a standard blaster rifle.

Szebat landed, shortly after the flaming remnants of the speeder skidded to a halt, behind him, placing an additional 10 meters between Szebat and his enemies, putting him 40 meters away from the Mandalorian (@Relent), who took cover behind her dead and dying kin, 25 meters away from the Jedi (@Toasty) that had used his own bike to attack Szebat, and the second Jedi, was a bit behind the Mandalorian. Szebat had only a moments time to decide his next moves were.

Disengaging his greatsaber, and placing it on his side, he brought the sight of his Harlaw Carbine to his eye, aiming for the Jedi general furthest from him (Valen) and fired two successive shots at his center of mass, before letting the rifle fall from his hands, swinging back and behind him, as his left arm flung upward, activating the gauntlet-mounted rocket launcher, aiming at the ground in front of the Jedi with the least Star Wars'y name in the group. The missile would hit the earth five meters in front of the Jedi's position, kicking up a thick, blinding cloud of smoke and dust that spread as wide as the gap in the wall, and quickly closing his helmet, to utilize the thermal scanner, to aid his sight through the smoke, as he charged forward, several steps, and gripping his falchion tightly with two hands and wound up to hurl the man-sized blade, like a windmill of dismemberment, aiming to cleave the man in half with the blade at the hip.

With the guardsman tower in sight of the noble Jedi, it was easy to veer to the right and dodge the incoming frontal assault from the unnecessarily crappy and rude person on top of of the tower and the smaller Sith. Seriously, breaking the rp wall to be an asshole isn't funny or endearing. Calm it down 11 notches. It was madness that the fat lizard could propel himself from the explosion faster than it expanded, but there was a plan for that. With the speeder bike gone, his position in a proper placement to fire upon the skyrocketing lizard, Ken aimed his pistol at the rapidly decaying leg armor of the cold-blooded alien's legs as the flames tore away at the armor. Five shots flared out, one after the other, in quick succession. If this mangling of the legs went as planned, well the pain would be excruciating enough to make the Barabel forget about using a gun on the man nonetheless the rocket, it would leave the big Sith on it's belly and give Ken a huge advantage.

After the shots it took but a split second for the General to blitz right with saber in position to intercept further interruptions, meaning deflecting the shots if mangling a creatures legs wasn't a good enough interruption. Combined with that, his gun hand reached up to the helmet to open his secure comlink with Valen and the pop idol. Directing the attention of the other General to the tower with the stormtrooper on top, the lower half caught in the explosion and toppling towards the hole due to the extreme damage to it's structure, it was already careening towards the ground but needed that extra touch to really make that earthquake-like impact. Kenny also just really didn't want to deal with everything all at once, and was more intent on not being the center of attention for once.

“Valen, tower.”

Dashing towards the right, cutting off the line of sight between he and the lizard as it propelled backwards to extend their distance, Kenny came up on the wall leaving a good ten meters between he and it from the allied lines right side. As the lizard would try to aim a rocket, it would find it's target gone, scattering beyond it's vision without a trace. The force pulled into his core, being wary of the Barabel that might just blow another hole in the perimeter to find him, Ken switched his saber to a low position down behind his legs to the left. The tip of the saber crawling low to the sands as he stalled creeping towards the wall until further ranged support could happen. Rushing into the compound alone wasn't a great idea, since his allies were twenty or more meters away currently.

The shots from one of the Warlord's henchmen came just as the rocket left its housing, Vesper seeing them plain as day as she already had her eyes trained in the general location from which they came. It was simply a matter of a quick juke with her jetpack to avoid them, her coming up to find cover behind the wall of Mandalorians as she had initially intended. She laughed as she watched the man who shot at her take cover just inside the base. The poor fool must not have realized he would probably be in the blast radius of her cluster bomb. Unfortunate.

It seemed the one that shot at her first had turned his attention elsewhere, leaving Vesper the opportunity to do the same. Her eye on the Warlord, she watched for the perfect moment to fire - and it came quickly. Just as the lizard was deactivating his greatsaber and holstering it, Vesper tugged the trigger twice on her A140 in rapid succession, both shots aimed at Szebat's center mass. The recoil of the rifle disallowed her from firing off any more shots with accuracy, but the bolts of the A140 came out in pairs and with great force. The weapon was designed for armor piercing, after all. The bolts would arrive just as Szebat was bringing his rifle up to fire, which should have left him somewhat distracted and with his guard open.

Looking towards the tower where the third man was, Vesper pointed her arm and shot off a wrist rocket. Her shot was aimed to strike above the man in the ceiling of his crows nest. The explosion would probably be big enough to kill him, but at the very least it would probably make him abandon his vantage point. He wouldn't be able to use the stairs to do so, as it was clear the tower wouldn't be standing much longer.

Shouldering her rifle again, Vesper took cover again behind her wall of bodies. She would be ready to react, hopefully, to whatever these dumb Sith threw at her.

Valen’s vantage point gave him an excellent view of the unfolding battle. He kept the tower, the wall, and Szebat in his field of vision. Chaos sprung all around as blasters, and rockets were fired. The cluster bomb explosion consumed the inner part of the base. Whatever Sith had been hiding behind that wall was still within the blast radius and likely dead. He would pray for the dead, after this was over. Szebat had managed to escape the worst of the blast. Valen imaged he would have sustained serious damage to his lower extremities.

He didn’t stay stationary as the battle raged. If Szebat still managed to fire off his blaster rifle he would find his target gone. Valen moved 10 feet to his right. The distance, and other factors, would make the two shots fired at his center mass inaccurate at best. He didn’t want to chance deflecting the bolts and hitting an ally. He watched the bolts sail by his left side. Harmlessly carrying into the Kessel horizon.

At Kenny’s behest, he switched his attention to the crumbling tower. He was careful not to lose track of Szebat. The tower was slowly heading towards the ground, he could hasten that fall. As the rocket headed towards the ceiling of the tower Valen reached out with the Force. He held his left hand out and pulled, yanking on the towers base. The tower was unstable, and a small pull of the support was all it needed. As the rocket exploded the tower began to hurtle towards the ground.

He quickly reset his feet and prepared the Force again. He watched the top of the tower, looking for the Sith trying to escape. The moment he saw the man he would send a pulse of the Force at him, attempting to shove him back into the explosion and crumbling tower. He knew he would need to constrain his use of the Force to avoid early exhaustion.

The end of the hilt of Szebat's lightsaber hilt, outside the hole in the wall, away from the blast inside. The blast should be mostly contained by the surrounding wall, shielding Szebat from a fiery death. His lightsaber clipped magnetically to his side in time for the sound of the distinct one-two firing pattern of the A140 Heavy Blaster; a recent favorite among his troops. As a free market weapon, it was no surprise the Mandalorian had one, and knew how to use it. The bolts roared in, like two miniaturized crimson Krayt Dragons aiming for Szebat's center of mass.

Szebat quickly pulled the hilt away and ignited the blade, but too late for one one the bolts, as it slipped passed over his blade and grazed his chest plate, as he shifted his center of mass, and twisted his upper half to the right, off-setting the bolt, causing it to graze the armor, while the second bolt surged in shortly thereafter, to meet the blade of Szebat's greatsaber, raining in like a right hook from a Rancor high on Glitterstims. The bolt that grazed Szebat's armor was mitigated to half it's potency, and accounted for only one blaster bolt fired against his chest piece, allowing for one more head-on bolt if the need arose.

Szebat's footing was solid, but the force of the bolt was not what Szebat was used to. These bolts rained down hard on those unlucky enough to be caught at the business end of it. Even with the bolt grazing his armor, and damaging it, like a full-on baseline blaster shot, Szebat was able to reflect one of the bolts into the ground. As the shot bounced off of his lightsaber, he disengaged it once again to draw his Heavy Harlaw Carbine to fire a pair of bolts, aimed deliberately at Valen, the Jedi attempting to cause greater damage to the tower, where his comrade Shaan was firing on the enemy.

Szebat would move to his left, finding cover outside the wall, around the time the wrist-rocket had been fired at the tower, to which Szebat pooled in his rage and let forth a concussive blast outward and up at the missile, to send it off its course, and keep Shaan in the fight.

Rude.

The Mandalorian female, Vesper, had shot a rocket at him! Shaan simmered with rage as he moved from the tower, jumping out of it and kicking his jetpack on. Luckily for him the behemoth Warlord had intercepted the rocket and sent it careening away from him. Smart. He felt the Force push batter him backwards, and in return Shaan increased the power to his jetpack, powering through the push. As he neared the ground he killed the jets and landed, his knees crouching to absorb the shock. He could still see Vesper now, further back from the group than he.

was now about 4 meters from what had been the tower - which was steadily falling upon itself and back into the base. He was safe, luckily, from the blast which was contained within the walls. Shaan began now to pour fire towards Vesper, firing three, hopefully accurate, shots towards the Mandalorian woman.

With one Sith being absolutely consumed by the burning inferno that was the blast of cluster rockets taking Ken's old speeder bike out to dinner, and the Warlord having his legs absolutely mangled by Ken's previous shots, it looked like it was now at two and a half versus three. Odds Ken liked, he observed as he rushed towards the right. The original plan was to run up on the wall and wait till things were flushed out to start acting like a plane propeller, chopping up bad dudes, but with the recently handicapped Warlord flying out of the base before Kenny could fully approach – there needed to be a change in direction. It was pretty exciting that the base's perimeter wall contained the blast so well and didn't just shred everyone to death with shrapnel, too.

Unnoticed, apparently, as the still living Sith forces turned their attention fully on his Comrades, Ken sprung into action. Currently about 3 meters adjacent to the lizard's flank now, the General cut his forward charge towards the back of his massive target. Ken was in the perfect position to end the enormous threat's life, as his approach was masked with the roar of gunfire, the golden blade of the Jedi swept down towards the lizards neck as Ken brought it around from the lower left and down with a vicious cleave meant to take the head off. The first step in Ken's crusade for revenge.

This strike alone could end a decade or two of terror and fear that the Warlord brought to the Galaxy, a quick end to the tyranny brought by the leader of the Imperial Legion. Another strike to the Sith which meant the Jedi were just as strong, if not more than, what they were before in the upbringing of the Empire. Taking Coruscant from the Republic was just the first step in the evil ways of the Sith, their once brotherhood, spreading throughout the galaxy. But this could be the moment in which the message to the universe that the Jedi were still here, still in the fight, would be spread. With the Warlord's head.

Death filled the Force. The explosion inside of the base had claimed a victim. The sickly-sweet feeling of a life being ripped from the Force threatened to worm into Valen’s mind. It was an overpowering feeling when a Force sensitive died. The Darkness quivered in the Force, one Darksider dead, but death fed the Darkness. It was a terribly tenuous balance. He shut those thoughts from his mind. He had to focus.

Thankfully, he had kept a close eye on Szebat. He recognized the sound of the Heavy Carbine and saw the massive creature fire the bolts towards him. He was forced to abort his pull of the tower half way through. The tower would still fall, but not as quickly. The Carbine blaster bolts accuracy were affect by the explosion, the hit Szebat took from Vesper, Kenny’s blaster shots and the distance. The combined effect made the bolts inaccurate, at best. He was able to duck one as it sailed over his head. The other bolt he deflected into the sky as it neared his chest. His arm vibrated as the powerful bolt hit his Lightsaber.

Valen noted the blaster shots fired at Vesper. He figured she was a big girl and could handle herself. She was a strong independent woman, she didn’t need him. He would let Vesper handle the non-lizard. He did not lose sight of the other Sith, but rather turned his attention to Szebat. The Warlord was the greater concern. The hulking lizard had failed to block or dodge Kenny’s blaster bolts. His legs, already damaged from the pull and explosion, were in an unfortunate state.

Kenny was moving in to end it. Valen couldn’t hesitate. The abandoned pull on the tower had left him with extra energy. He reached out both hands, keeping his Lightsaber ignited. The Force flowed through him. He pushed, from all sides. He pushed as hard as he could on Szebat, trying to make it impossible for the Warlord to avoid his fellow General’s strike. That would likely be the last major use of the Force he was capable of. If he was successful, Szebat would be unable to move from Kenny’s strike.

Taking cover behind the dead bodies of her fallen brothers was quite possibly the best - and also the grossest, most depressing, and someone smelly - decision Vesper had ever made. It had given her a very good vantage point from which to survey the battlefield in front of her. It appeared that Kenneth M. Garfield was willing to take on the big lizard, entering melee distance for what seemed like a hefty blow. Either way she wasn't dealing with it, and given the fact that the one armed guy was not much more than a pile of fine ash, freeing her up to focus her attention on the jetpacky Sith.

Scoping Shaan, Vesper waited till she could line up a good shot on him before firing. Hitting a moving target wasn't really something she was interested in trying. An opportunity presented itself after Shaan seemed to increase his thrust for some reason. With her gun braced on the pile of bodies, Vesper was able to give her A140 four pulls of the trigger, all relatively grouped at Shaan's center mass. There would be a tic of a second between each trigger pull, staggering the the bolts somewhat.

She was having fun.

Szebat required to slightly turn his body to track the force push into the missile, and caught the glint of the easily recognizable glow of the yellow lightsaber of the Jedi he'd encountered before, at the bottom right corner of his vision. Around that time the sharp pain of the shots to his legs rang in his thigh, the shock of the heavy bolts hitting him all at once, once he stopped moving to the left. Two bolts had planted themselves deeply within the tissue of his right thigh.

The nature of his armor defended against the earlier explosion well enough, but crumble under three of the five blaster rounds, utterly destroying his lower armor, exposing the cooling pipes underneath the armor plating. The other two planted solidly within his thigh, wrecking his battlefield maneuverability on his left. With extremely limited mobility in his left leg, he shifted his torso around again to shoulder his rifle, and fire a duo of bolts from the rifle, at the distant Mirialan Jedi currently concentrating on another Force attack. As the Jedi had not moved a step from his last position, Szebat relied on muscle memory to send two shots downrange.

With a quick two pulls of a trigger, Szebat was able to then activate his jetpack and jump safely out of the Jedi's line of attack, quickly activating then deactivating it once airborne, and reactivating it to soften his landing, safely landing him 4 meters to the left of his original position, landing with his good leg, and using his tail for support on his left side.

Szebat dug in to a defensive Djem So-style stance, with the saber held overhead, and the blade canted downward in front of him. The blade reached down to just inches above the ground. His weight was put back onto his back leg, with his left forward, and his tail bracing and holding weight where his leg could not.
