I think I adressed targeting being done less through a computer and more through math. Calculate position and fire.

For getting attacked on three sides by a superior force in numbers and state they're evenly matched seems weird to me. Defensive forces are spread out in trenches, at nighttime, and suddenly attacked by twice their number from three sides. I have never seen that be evenly matched.

Before I nitpick about everything, the admin ruling doesn't give us the requested outcome (except what I'd read a stalemate) nor number of losses.

Well, given you guys couldn't go a whole round without disputing and reporting tells me there is nitpicking. I'm not ruling on the thread, its a post dispute. Just because you flank someone doesn't mean its an insta-win, and as I said, you can't determine how the opposing forces are reacting, that's up to your opponent to write and decide. So given that the Mandalorians have a significantly more elite solider base and heavy artillery, the Sith are not getting through anything unscathed.

Numbers, this is what I think you guys should be at:
Imperial Infantry: -90
Imperial Adv Infantry: -20
Heavy Armor: -75

Mando Infantry: -39
Mando Adv Infantry: -50
Mando Heavy: -75

So that would be in totals 310 vs 325.

We went without a dispute the first round! Right, @Valen Pelora?

Joe Swanson and I decided we'll go the Full Monty Python with my 1/3 of a Sith Marauder.

Last couple of days we've both gotten a lot of flack for this thread, despite it being the first tactical MFB and it clearly also being a more moderator heavy approach to PvP. Mandalorian NPC units haven't even been approved in the Hall of Leaders yet and nothing is really worked out about this system aside from some basic rules, so it's much like @Valen Pelora said: we've been "flying by the seat of our pants."

When we then say we need a moderator, a third party, to settle a round because only a third party could possibly weigh everything as fair as possible concerning the 'intricacies of tactical battles' we get told off or an admin's own opinion on the thread without the ruling we requested. Finally we get a ruling on the numbers and that's not even correct in the way unit numbers are done in the rules.

If no one cares about tactical battles, then why try it out in the first place?

I requested an outcome to the thread because the interest from 'above' was clearly lacking, however much Steven and I like to argue and nitpick with each other we're still having fun doing it and we can do so without having to make it all up ourselves and do a cPvP.

I think we're all flying by the seat of our pants on this since we're working out the kinks, so take notes as your roll along as what is working and what is not working.

Troops are broken down in units, the numbers represent the total loss.

Lastly, I'm not doing a ruling on the thread, since Valen didn't want one, however the next report that comes in will result in a conclusion.

This is final, its not being debated.
