Well the Tristar fighter is winning at the moment.

What is it armed with, two light lasers?

Should it be hyperspace capable? I edging towards no on that one.

Nothing fancy on the armaments side, probably dual light lasers (twin-linked, etc.) and a lot more proton torpedo launchers to make up for the lack of heavy lasers, making for a rapid fire fighter with tracking capabilities. No hyperspace capabilities, decent speed but shines more in maneuverability department. Light shields perhaps. I can come up with more details so long as the go to is given.

Just two launchers with say 24 rounds total should be more than enough for a long mission if even that.
