This RP would be set in a universe that is a mix of a part of the DC comics universe, the Lantern Corps, and the Star Wars universe; basically, instead of Jedi, Sith, and the Force, the various Lantern Corps exist. For those who don't know, each Lantern Corps uses power rings which harness a specific trait or emotion, which gives the user the ability to fly, survive in space, and create solid constructs made of light. These constructs are only limited by one's imagination, although larger constructs require more focus and energy. The technology, species, and planets of Star Wars would still exist, and each Lantern Corps would have a planet that acts as their base of operations.

Lantern Corps and their Planets:
Green Lanterns (Willpower): Coruscant
Red Lanters (Rage): Korriban
Blue Lanterns (Hope): Tython
Yellow Lanterns (Fear): Mandalore
Indigo Tribe (Compassion): Alderann
Star Saphhires (Love): Hapes
Orange Lanterns (Greed): Nal Hutta

The Corps do not control these planets (with the exception of Tython and Korriban), they simply reside there. If people are interested in this idea, I will go into more detail about the time setting and any plots. People could make new characters do this, or just use current characters.

Corps Backgrounds:

Green Lanterns: Harnessing the green light of Willpower, the Green Lanterns serve as a galactic police force for the Republic of Free Systems, which encompasses the Core, Inner Rim, and parts of the Mid-Rim. They were the first corps, and many were created after their image.

Yellow Lanterns (Vizsla Corps):
A century ago, the first Mandalorian Green Lantern, Tor Vizsla, returned to his homeworld to help them fight a war against the Hutt Clans. He was so fierce on the battlefield, that he found that if he used his enemies' fear against them, he was much stronger. He forged the first yellow ring and power battery, and distributed more rings amongst the most feared Mandalorians. Today, the Yellow Lanterns are made up of some of the most feared warriors in the galaxy, and work closely with the Mandalorian Empire.

Blue Lanterns: Founded by early members of the Green Lanterns to aid in larger scale situations, the Blue Lanterns wield the Blue light of Hope. They operate of of the Deep Core planet of Tython, which they control, and serve as peacekeepers and beacons of hope for the hopeless, helping topple oppressive regimes and giving resources to the poor and those on the edge of society.

Orange Lantern (Lord Orange): One of the original Green Lanterns was a Dug from Nal Hutta named Larfleeze. However, after tasting the power of the power ring, he realized he could use it to get whatever he wanted. Abandoning the Green Lanterns, he traversed the galaxy taking whatever he wanted, eventually becoming so greedy his green ring was corrupted to be powered by the orange light of Greed. Larfleeze quickly became paranoid that everyone was out to steal what was "his", and retreated to a secluded area of Nal Hutta, where he was attended by the constructs of those he'd killed, a unique ability of the orange light. Due to the danger he poses, the Green Lanterns have forbidden entrance into Hutt space.

Indigo Tribe: The first creature to wield the indigo light of Compassion was a murderer and archnemesis of Green Lantern Satele Shan, Daart Malgus. He was a serial killer whom had killed her teacher, but instead of killing or even imprisoning him, she forged and forced onto his hand the first indigo ring. It filled him with remorse for his actions, and the two set off, reforming the worst criminals by way of an indigo ring.

Star Saphhires: Made up of exclusively women, the Star Saphhires draw upon the violet light of Love. They recruit women who have been slighted by lovers in the past, or have great capacity to love. Being one of the harder emotions to control, members occasionally lose control, especially those who seek revenge on past lovers. The corps typically stays out of galactic affairs, but have been at odds lately with the Mandalorians, after kidnapping female Vizsla Corps members and attempting to forcibly convert them.

Red Lanterns: Imprisoned and tortured as a political prisoner for years, a Pureblood Sith named Atrocitus eventually harbored so much hate and rage that his blood boiled and became red light, manifesting a red power ring powered by his rage. He slaughtered his captors and anyone who got in his way, before eventually being confronted by a squad of Green Lantern Corps members. For a year they imprisoned him for murder, but he broke free, escaping to the desolate planet of Korriban, where he built up the Red Lantern Corps to get revenge. Members of this Corps are volitale, and cannot control themselves after receiving a ring until after bathing in blood. They also can only be non-lethally separated from their rings by the rings of Blue Lanterns.

Setting: This will take place around the same time as the 6th Timeline, though will different factions:

Republic of Free Systems: The Republic of this Alternate Universe. It contols the Core, Inner Rim, and most Jedi planets from the 6th TL, with the exception of Tython, Hapes, Nal Hutta, and Nar Shaddaa, but including planets from Endor to Naboo.

The Mandalorian Empire: A larger version of this TL's Mandalorian Dominion, they control what the Dominion did, with the addition of most of the Sith Empire's territory, excluding Korriban, Ziost, Thila, and Ord Radama. They are on equal terms with the Republic, but hate the Hutts and are at war with the Red Lanterns.

Confederacy of Hutt Clans: Controlling Nal Hutta, Nar Shaddaa, and the planets between Toydaria and Kessel, the Hutts run their criminal empires with little interference from others. They once waged war against the Mandalorians, resulting in the smaller territory they have compared to what they once had.

Red Lanterns: As Atrocitus built up his new Corps, he began to take planets for his own, those being Korriban, Ziost, Thila, and Ord Radama. This put him at odds with the Mandalorian Empire, which had previously controlled those planets. They are small now but the galaxy fears what they could become.

The Plot: With the Red Lanterns stealing Mandalorian territory, the Yellow Lanterns were sent to fight them. However, because the Red Lanterns get whipped into a fury, the power of fear is much harder to use against them. Reluctantly, the Mandalorians have requested help from other Corps in dealing with the rising threat. Meanwhile, the Hutt clans have been attempting to rally the only Orange Lantern, the Dug Larfleeze, to their cause, hoping to ally with the RLs and destroy the Mandalorian Empire.
