THEME
Today held a mission that was more subtle than an outright attack. Bothans were good spies but that also meant that Koil personally did not trust them. Well, he did not trust much of anyone except for his own Clan. There were those on this mission with him that were not of his Clan but one of them he had worked with once before. @Galaar Rau was a bit of an older backwoods mandalorian but still seemed to have the right stuff. There was the other man, Varus whom he had yet to work along side but seemed to have a decent record thus far. Both were Marauders but today would see if they were going to excel in counter intelligence operations against proficient spies. At least that is what was assumed based on the Bothan's reputation.

Koil stood in the sparse warehouse. It had recently begun projects to complete renovations but were without any employees or traffic of any kind. The group that they were looking into were in a nearby hotel. They would need to breach and take the spy squad out. Ideally they would not see the three Mandalorians coming. Chances were that there could be other Imperial Agents in the area.

His hands worked the round into the magazine of a backup magazine for his Dirk slug pistol holstered at his side. He finished and slide the magazine into a pouch before pulling out a personav and showing the location of the hotel to everyone. "Alright. We're here, they're just a block up the way. Should be anywhere from three to six of them in there. They aren't expecting us but it will be somewhat close up there. Let's try not to kill civilians. IT's believed they're informing on the local government to Imperial Intelligence." He said before stowing the device. He wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page.

Koil was the Field Marshal and warrior in charge of this mission. Everything that followed was his responsability. He had started to become more used to the ranking position over the past year. His appreciation for his fellow Mandalorians was starting to increase from his previous reserved emotions. Actually, he had probably always felt that way. Only now he was starting to show it more.

Galaar sat at a table across the room from Koil, with a lit cigarro in his lips, typing feverishly into his Techno-Coffer, when Koil spoke up about the Bothan spies, but he was He stood up from his chair, and took his rifle from it's position his Shriek-Eagle Long Carbine, making sure the power cell was snug, and that his rifle's scope was set at a moderate 2x-Zoom for medium range combat. His twin Strills were at his sides in matching handcrafted Rawl-skin holsters, loaded, and his studded Cosmowrench lay in Rawl-skin sheathe of it's own. He had just finished getting a foot in the door of the local CCTV channels around the confirmed area, and could verify their position was in fact where Koil said it was. Galaar joined the Echani Mandalorian, after he dropped his helmet onto his head, and rested stood ready, rifle in hand, and ready to run.

"I'm ready when y'all are." he said, "Le's' bag us some rats, we done got the snakes," he added, chuckling at his own joke, in typical Galaar fashion. It had been awhile since him and Koil had killed those Rawls together, but it still remained one of his favorite missions as of late, and he talked about it constantly among those in his family and Clan, despite almost being crushed by a ten-footer.

He took a second to check his gear for the last time. He went through it almost subconsciously. Rifle. Both Pistols. Blade. Ammo. He then tugged at his armor, making sure it was tight. Lastly, he slid his helmet over his head.

He had never worked with the other men in the group, but they were Mandalorian, and that was enough for Varus. He listened as the Marshall gave his briefing, nodding periodically to show understanding.

There was nothing left to do exempt the task they had been assigned. Varus wasn't one for small talk anyways. “Ready.” He said in a low tone, somewhat muffled by his helmet.

Looking between the two men he would nod to either of them. They were ready to deal some damage and not just wreck havoc, but do it with precision. He appreciated that. So far they had come to Bothawui without discovery and only after this mission would a mandalorian presence become rumor.

Making sure his personav was secure he would sling his rifle on his back for now. He would rather use his twin pistols anyways, especially when it came to close combat. Exiting the warehouse he would look to either side and then begin trotting down the block through the back side alleyway. The shadowy part of the alleyway had some moisture from a rain fall earlier that morning that had not yet evaporated. Other than that it looked rather uniform in cleanliness.

The three would make it all the way to the hotel, Koil checking the rooftops and his own sectors. Turning to Galaar who was the only one without a jetpack he would speak up through the helmet communication link. "Galaar, you take utility stairwell. I'll go up to roof, come at them from the top. Varus, go up and wait on a side balcony. We breach simultaniously on my signal." He said. Varus had gription boots so would be able to even stick to the side of the building making his kit perfect for his position. With all that in mind he activated his jet pack and flew to the roof. The man made sure to not do it too close to the exterior of the room holding the spies they were after. The Silent Badger did not want to spook the spooks.

Galaar moved quickly to the hotel and broke off from them to take the utility stairwell as instructed by his Field Marshal. The Mandalorian native took up a position behind door and readied a kick on Koil's mark, and kept a Strill pistol in hand, ready to breath and clear. He could hear figures inside speaking in hushed Bothan. He couldn't understand it, but G1T could translate it to Binary for him if necessary.

"Eyes set awn two targets, holler when you want me to take em out, sir, over," Galaar spoke, in Basic through the Comms, keeping his voice hushed, and his figure out of the view of the glass window that separated him from two Bothan operatives.

It took them only a couple of minutes to reach the building their targets were in. He listened as Koil gave them locations and told them to wait for his signal.

With a nod, Varus set out to find his position. Spotting a suitable balcony, he ran at the wall and jumped. He activated his gription boots and used his new perch to propel himself forward up to the balcony.

He caught hold of the ledge and pulled himself up. He stuck to the edge of the balcony in the shadows. There were a couple of people moving around inside, unaware of him outside.

"Ready" he whispered into his comm device in his helmet.

Koil trotted along the roof until he came to the roof above where the Bothan spies were staying in their room. Unclipping a thermal detonator from his belt he set it to impact. Hearing all of his cohorts let him know they were ready he would give them a queue. "five count. 1, 2, 3-" he would not say four or five but would throw the grenade and make a hole directly in the roof and the moment it was no longer dangerous hop down.

As he dropped he drew his vibro-blade and fell onto the back of an unlucky bothan. The act dropped the spy face first into the floor of the now rubble strewn hotel room. He stabbed into the Bothan's neck before raising his blaster up to the chest of another Bothan rising from a hotel room chair trying to scramble with his holstered blaster. The weapon had exited the holster in enough time to clatter to the ground next to the second spy. Koil was still hunched over the corpse body by the time the other two warriors had breached and did not want to stand up in the middle of a cross fire but kept his weapons ready.

Galaar counted down with the Echani, and slammed an armored foot into the door frame, sending it sailing into the room, and snapping two of it's hinges from the impact. Galaar spoke no words as he acquired his first target came into view, firing two bolts into his chest at point blank as he recovered from the shock of the sudden attack.

The second Bothan leapt, attempting to attack Galaar from behind with a vibroblade, although the weapon would only knick and damage his armor lightly, he knew he only had a moment to disengage before he found the chinks in his armor.

With a grip established on the knife-wielder's wrist, he jerked back with his hips and forward with his shoulders, somersaulting, and landing with his full weight on the Bothans ribs, three of them snapping on impact. Quickly deploying his hidden blade, he dispatched the second Bothan in the room, with a quick strike to his carotid artery in his neck. With three down, Galaar could see two more to the right and plainly shouted, "Two more, to the right!" Galaar shouted, pistol in hand, he looked to see Koil finishing off his kill, he swung his arms, which supported his single pistol, and fired shots to suppress the Bothans before they made any actions toward them, clipping one of their elbows.

He waited, breathing slowly as the anticipation for battle rose. It was something that he always experienced, but had long learned to deal with and keep his heart rate in check. He took aim at a silhouette through the window as Koil began counting. He took a breath in and held it in as they all went silent.

As the explosion sounded, He shot one of the targets through the balcony widow before hitting the door open. He searched for targets in the chaotic room.

He spotted two Bothans taking aim at Galaar and shot three times, taking both of the Bothans. He then ducked for cover behind a table that had been overturned in the chaos of the room.

Begun in a heart beat and ended in seconds. Koil's pistol was still raised and he was looking around to find another target but found none. "Sound off." He said in mando'a to make sure that Galaar and Varus were alive. The Field Marshal would wipe his blade against the dry clothes of one of the Bothans before sheathing it again. The room was a mess. He checked for any data pads, files and important information that the spies had been holding before stowing it away on his person. It would be good to know what the enemy thought they knew.

"Let's get out of here." He said. Technically this had been a job hired by the local Bothans against other Bothans. They had used Mandalorians but they still did not want to be fingered for the job so it was best to leave without being seen. Soon they would be headed out in another air speeder, not returning to the warehouse since they had already been there, but going to meet with their client with news of a job done.
