You find yourself in the sleepy frontier village of Lastcrest during one of the most exciting times of the year, The Harvest's End Festival. The Festival celebrates the end of the harvest season and is a "last hurrah" of sorts before the fast coming winter. Even now, the nights grow cold, and a frigid wind blows from the north. So come and enjoy the festivities, but whatever you do, do not enter the supposedly haunted forest, The Whispering Wood.

So as we wait for the new TL to begin, I thought it might be fun to do something non-Star Wars related before we dive into it next month. I plan for this to be collaborative so the "DMing" will be pretty light or non-existent and it pretty much be limited to introducing things to push the story forward. There will not be a strict posting Order unless there is some type of combat, where we will go to a 24-hour post timer.

I'm not too concerned about rolling, but we will use this site to roll. The Room Name is Harvest's End and the password is SWRP. Use rolls to check yourself and help drive your own narrative while writing. Anyway, nothing too structured..just fun.

I'll post my character below so you can use that as a guideline. You can be any standard fantasy race/class - just don't be something super edgy or snowflaky and it will be fine. Consider yourself a "Level One Character" when thinking about how your character conducts themselves. I'll close down the thread after we get a few people so it doesn't get crowded (Or maybe we break up into two groups if it does)

Backstory: Roderick grew up in Lastcrest and had spent most of his life there. He grew up helping his father, who owned the only tavern and inn in the Village, The Broken Sword. When he turned 18, Roderick set out on his own to see the world and make his own way. Before he was gone a full year, he received word that his father had become ill. By the time he returned, his father had passed. Overcome with guilt for leaving his father, Roderick stayed and took over the tavern.
