Hello fellow Jedi.
I have decided to start doing the occasional training thread on aspects of lightsaber combat. Now i know, oh no training threads, we dont want to grind out skills!
Of course you dont, that would be boring. This is more a way of learning the application of the ideas behind a form, how they apply to pvp, and how you can use them practically.
Consider it a writers workshop of sorts, learning how to add a little flavor to your pvp while also learning applicable defenses and attacks.
Moving on from that, the reason i have chosen Soresu is quite simple. Bounty Hunters. Blasters are everywhere. Now doing this thread wont give you a "+1 to blaster deflection". Its more for learning applicable techniques to block blaster fire in an efficient manner. And more importantly, how to articulate it in PvP, because if you cant write it, how do you expect to be able to do it.
