Okay, so here it is. Basically I have a massive storyline I envisioned when I created my Jedi Kin-Wan Bek. It started when a FS slave boy trained under a nameless Jedi master who had died several weeks before the training had even begun. After that he joined the Jedi and started down a path that would forever change him. He found, or perhaps was led to, a strange puzzle box. This began a strange series of events relating to a mission and dark entity millennia old. He started on a journey facing emotionless assassins, ghost ships, and then disappeared from his ship mid-hyperspace. He was taken to a planet referred to only as the distant shadowed world, where he met a being of the darkside known only as The Devourer(I am currently writing of his two weeks there). He was tortured, tutored, and broken by the ancient being. He sought Kin-Wan as an apprentice to free him of his imprisonment and take his revenge on an unsuspecting galaxy. The Jedi were ever his enemy and the Sith of this era just shadows of former glory. He would destroy them all.

But Kin managed to free himself and face down the dark creature. The Devourer had wanted an apprentice, but failing that...an instrument of his will. Willing or not. He didn't even have to be alive to let his will live on. Kin-Wan attacked in anger, absorbing the life of the dark being and in the end, fulfilling his plan. Kin-Wan's mind was now fractured, conflicted. He had killed and even absorbed another's very being...and enjoyed it. But at the same time still felt guilty and wanted to repent. Now he has lost all faith, in everyone and even himself. So as Coruscant burned, he vanished into the unknown. To seek...something. So now he has mediated for ten years on a world well beyond the woes of the galaxy. He has grown stronger, but at the same time more conflicted and fractured. Both dark and light at constant war within the tortured soul. Both waiting...

To see who Kin-Wan really is...a monster or a saint...

Alright. In essence I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in a RP with the now Grey Jedi. I guess that's a way to put it. This RP would be very in depth and wouldn't be as simple as find him, talk to him, and turn him. I plan on it being action packed, but also posses strong undertones of character growth and issues of morality. I have several ideas/storylines(tribal natives view him as a god, a ruin with a powerful guardian, tests to see if one is worthy) and I'm always open to suggestions and feedback. But this thread is just to gauge interest and to see if anyone would like to be in a thread like this.

Also, this; there is a lot of room for character growth/development not only for Kin-Wan, but others as well. It could also be a great chance to get some impressive history for your characters :p

It sounds quite interesting, some that I would be interested in, but I would need a few answers first. Firstly, do you want this to take place on a certain world? If so, that may effect which of my characters would be able to interact with him.

I'm currently looking into worlds. I would like something out of the way with a primitive, perhaps superstitious, native species. A world that hasn't yet been touched by the war, Jedi, or Sith.

I might be interested.

Do you have permission from the admins about The Devourer?

Yes, I already spoke to BAC and another(Padme I think or Empress, I delete my boxes frequently) a few weeks back when people questioned about Kin-Wan's life drain. So he's approved. But they only let me use him as an NPC who died lol he won't ever meet another PC or appear in any RPs. He is going to appear in a blog entry detailing Kin-Wan's imprisonment on the distant shadowed world.

Well, count me in on this, just need to know what world you pick and to decide which character would be best for the RP. I don't know which one yet, but don't expect the Galactic Alliance Admiral, that's all I can tell you. Maybe my Mando, Lyon. I have to decide.

Remember when I said Galad and Kin-Wan and very alike each other? I still think that way, especially after seeing this, and may be interested in it if you also agree. Like a companion and a friend perhaps. It would be cool if they run into each other after their duel and establish some kind of friendship which makes a rocky start but develops to who-knows what levels. Thoughts?

By the way, the first paragraph really reminded me of the mod called Solomon's Revenge for KOTOR. You probaly haven't heard of it, but though that I should mention. Almost as if it was a reference.

Ok, so I think I've decided on the planet; Byss. Pretty out of the way, a violent and primitive tribal race for him to twist that could put him on a pedestal, and has some interesting RP opportunities. And to be honest, I have no idea what Solomon's Revenge is though I have played both KOTORs. But on consoles lol

Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon's Revenge is a fan-made mod for Kotor, so that's understandable.

I might have to look it up lol in fact...
*initiating google search*
In the meantime, what do you think Weiss/Silver/Galad? It appears most of the interest is Sith lol maybe the Jedi are already in hiding :p

As it happens, I have no Sith. GA-soon-to-be-Rebel Admiral, Good-Hearted Mandalorian Aliit'alor, Ex-Disciple of Twilight/Imperial Knight chick, and my only bad character, the insane (or perhaps supersane 0.o) serial killer/terrorist/arsonist/slicer/scheming/mysterious woman. Each character has a different point of view, each would interact with Kin-Wan in a different way. And so far, I like how this is shaping up.

Somobody knew at least. That is good. And Wanderer, the emotionless assassins and the ghosts ships are what made me remember. You'll know if you find it.

Looks good. I am also liking the way this is developing.

Good lol glad people are liking it so far :p also Weiss, were you thinking of bringing your Sith Lord? Or someone else? Also I am currently writing up the basic outline and as soon as the skip happens we will be ready to roll :D Is there anyone else interested? Maybe some Jedi that could show up and cause some drama? Playing both sides against the middle is always fun

Either way I have time consider how far the skip has already been delayed. If anyone has an out of the way planet with some superstitious tribal natives on it, I'm all ears :bitchez

Not to ruin anyone's fun or anything, but Byss was destroyed...like forever ago.

Just a heads up.

Actually, there are 2 planets named Byss. The Deep Core World Byss, which was used as a stronghold by the Reborn Palpatine and destroyed by the Galaxy Gun, and the Outer Rim Byss, a desert world inhabited by the Abyssin which, as far as I know, still stands by now. And since the Outer Rim Byss is the one he was using, he can still use it.

I present to you:

Karra-Home world of the Karrans
Kalee-Home world of the Kaleesh

Both species are relatively primitive by galactic standards, but fully sentient. That said, a dark ritual might cause a group of them to go mad.

But my favorite possibility is:

Vanqor-Home world of the Gundarks....awwwwww yeah....sub-sentient, primitive though capable of some thought, like bashing people with clubs works better than fists. AND, could easily be warped by the dark ritual.

Yes, there are some humans on Vanqor, but that might be how everyone finds out about the gundarks suddenly becoming obsessed with revering, and quite possibly protecting, their idol.
