Expecting to wait in hiding for a minute or two, Gellart was surprised when the lady in black returned quickly after a fast takedown, keycard in hand. "She looks pretty fine to me," he admired in response, leaving his statement up for interpretation. With the way into the vault now open, Gellart slipped in, knowing they had precious little time to take what they wanted.

And boy, there was a lot they could take.

Lining the shelves on the left wall were hyperdrives for a wide variety of freighters including the Lancer series - which Gellart immediately dashed to, unlsinging his backpack and stuffing the device in as best he could. There was even a hyperdrive for some cruiser-class craft, but obviously way too large to carry out quickly. On the far wall lay a wide spread of firearms, mostly blasters of different calibers with a few rifles as well. The prize of this table was obviously the huge minigun laid out on the end - it needed some cleaning, but was otherwise in great condition. The last wall had several bags of unknown substances, though with labels attached to differentiate. Inside a glass case of some kind lay three clearish crystals of some kind, which a knowledgeable and discerning eye would recognize as raw Kyber crystals. Not that Gellart would be able to tell, though.

Having packed his bag as best he could, the shipbreaker jaunted over to the gun table and grasped one of the rifles, slinging it over his shoulder before turning towards the exit. "Well, I'm ready to bring this date to a close." Truth be told, Gellart wasn't here to make money - he was just taking what he needed. There was still plenty to go around, though security was almost certainly spooked at this point.

Upon her return, she noticed John's typical concern that drew a soft smirk from her. As the stranger added something relatively suggestive, she briefly met his gaze, giving him a knowing smirk. "I'm fine, yes", her ocean eyes flicked from one to the other again, relieved about how no one had screwed this up just yet and thus the trio could press on.

They slipped in just fine and Maeve knew they had seconds, a minute at best, and someone would notice they were under assault. "Let's hurry". She was certain they all knew they couldn't waste any time for pondering what to take, but grab whatever they'd first lay their eyes on, and so as soon as they reached the first shelves, Maeve filled her multiple pockets with whatever was of worth and easy to carry.

She was interested in weapons as they always got her a decent amount of money in the right places but there were also some shiny trinkets she deemed valuable. The dark haired worker went for his Core and she wondered whether the Mando with his higher morals would even go for some actual loot, but as the former called for them, she immediately hurried over.

"No objections, we might-" and that was when the alarms started blaring. Fuck. Maeve's gaze flicked to the door they had passed moments earlier, afraid they might lock it down, but she quickly remembered that unless someone monitored whether doors were used, they'd be fine in here still. Going out though was probably more problematic.

"Perhaps there's another way out?", she suggested, highly doubting it, but also knowing there had to be some sort of ventilation system...maybe shafts? However, what they also had was a room full of weapons and she hadn't missed the minigun either...Or perhaps they were fine just waiting it out in here for a moment...

Rath simply ignored the flirting of the others as he was focused on the mission. Although he couldn't help the eye roll under his helmet. Rath followed them in looking about the room before settling on the minigun. He walked over and inspected it. Though it was dirty, it seemed to be in great condition. He looked through the various other blasters, but didn't see anything else of note.

He finally turned to the other wall and its various substances. He could recognize a few of them but his attention was drawn by a glass case. He could see three clearish crystals of some form inside of it. He tried opening the case several different ways but couldn't get it open. As the other dude called everyone together he quickly smashed the case. Gathering the crystals and stashing them away.

As he turned to join them the alarm started blaring. He stopped and walked over to the minigun. He took the external power cell it had and wrapped it around his shoulder. He than picked up the weapon and attached the power cell to it. "So what's the plan shoot our way through security or see if we can make an explosive from the substances in here."

Almost right on queue, their intrusion was announced throughout the whole building. Realistically, even with all the firepower they had, Gellart didn't fancy the idea of facing down an entire army of security guards. At the woman's suggestion of an alternate exit, his eyes darted around the room until he spotted a large vent cover nestled unassumingly in the wall. Punching the door controls to shut them, he pried open the wiring panel and quickly fused it permanently shut - keycard or no. While it wouldn't last forever, it would give the group at least a bit of time to make their escape. Of course they didn't have blast doors - that would have been fantastic. "Pretty sure those those baggies are just spice - but this'll hold them off for a bit."

Dashing to the wall, he quickly pried off the vent cover. The shaft was a 3ft by 3ft square - roomy enough to crawl-crouch through without feeling claustrophobic. Collapsing his vibrosword, Gellart slipped into the metallic tunnel. It wasn't long before he reached a T-junction, with fans whirring at deadly speeds a few yards in each direction. His eyes stung with the smoggy air blowing into them, but he knew from experience that these vents always moved the air outside.

Turning down the left tunnel, he positioned himself as comfortably as he could in the passageway as he began carefully cutting away at the fan blocking their passage forward. "Just a moment...shouldn't take long..." he murmured both to himself and his impromptu allies, cutter making quick, clean slices through the cheap metal. While it would not take him long, a delay was a delay - and security would be hot on their tail if they broke through the door quickly.

The dark haired worker followed with some really quick thinking which she appreciated. Her gaze had also found the shaft and so their plan was settled without many words, she figured. Just in case, Maeve dashed for some more grenades that would buy them time before she regrouped with the rest.

She hopped into the shaft right after the man entered, quickly following him while literally crawling. She felt her pulse accelerating, yet she kept her mind cool, knowing she potentially needed some quick thinking soon enough as well. She was trusting the Mando would ensure they weren't followed somehow, or at least that they'd manage to get out before anyone even noticed they were in here.

She stopped after Gellart, watching him cut them out somewhat nervously. Maeve wasn't a fan of confined spaces, but the prospects of being out soon soothed her...at least a little. And she wasn't all alone inside. There was nothing she could do while he cut, so she did her best to steady her breath. Visualizing the building in her head, she could at least tell they were moving into the right direction, and so as he was finally through, she immediately nodded for him to continue.

"Go go go". Her dress and coat surely wasn't the best choice for such an endeavor, but she carried on in record speed after they were through. "Technically we need to move more towards the left...they have to lead to the outside soon enough". Once outside, she was confident they'd manage to get out of this dicey situation, but for now this shaft was stressing her out...

Rath watched as the other two dashed for the vent. He had devised a way to buy them time but he needed them to go ahead. Kate ran for some grenades and then climbed up into the vent following the leader. Once she was inside of it a bit he unhooked the external power pack and slid the minigun into the vent. He then set the power pack next to the door and made his way into the vent. Drawing his pistol he aimed for the pack and waited for the door to open.

Shortly after the door slid open and a handful of guards piled in. Rath shot the pack but underestimated the power of the explosion it would create. Kate and the scrapper would notice the Mandalorian and the minigun come sliding into the t-junction followed by flames that didn't quite reach the others. Rath started coughing violently his armor had obvious burn marking and some debris.

Grabbing the minigun and dragging it with him he met up with the two. "I....believe I....may have bought us....some time." Still coughing from having the wind knocked out of him. He was winded and very hot after his brilliant idea. He wanted out of this vent and his armor as soon as possible.

Making his final cut, Gellart deactivated and dislodged the fan just as a wave of heat assaulted him from behind. Looking back to see the Mandalorian round the corner with scorch marks painting his armour, Gellart gave him an impressed nod before quickly picking up the pace. Taking the woman in black's advice, he kept to the left at the next junction, the tunnel sure enough reaching an exterior vent that proved little trouble in being removed. Finally clear of the building, Gellart transitioned from his purposeful trot into a nonchalant jaunt, appearing just as an unassuming civilian. While the guards would likely be searching the perimeter soon, they would still reeling from the devastating explosion that injured or killed many, let alone probably ruined most of their most precious wares.

Winding his way through nearby alleyways and streets to create plausible deniability, Gellart would then turn to his companions if they had followed, giving them each a nod of approval. "Hey, uh, thanks for the help...probably went a lot better than if I'd gone alone," he admitted, unaccustomed to expressing gratitude. "Name's Gellart. I won't be sticking on this junk rock for much longer, but if either of you ever need help dealing with some piece-of-shite asshole, hit me up. I'll do it for free."

Farewells made, Gellart then would disappear into the smog, his prize in hand. A quick install later, and he was finally free.

They slipped out all right, thanks to the time the buckethead bought them, so once she was outside, she took a deep breath. Her pulse was slowly decelerating, and the moment she was on the ground, she smoothed down her clothes and hair and slipped into a grateful walk again.

They had done it. Her pockets were heavy, but even if she was generally not a common sight on this planet, from the outside, she looked fairly unassuming, not at all fazed by the prior commotion. The guards and workers inside surely had a lot to handle, but the diverse trio skillfully escaped until Gellart came to a halt.

He suddenly snapped at them and she just raised an amused brow - yeah, she also would have swiped in completely unnoticed without them, but alas, they had happened to be in the wrong place that time. "Was a pleasure working with you, gentlemen", she still politely said to the two of them before she dipped her head, taking a mental note about this Gellart. Words meant little to her, yet it was possibly worth a try.

As Gellart disappeared, she briefly turned to John again and added, "I'll see you around", with a little wink before she headed into the other direction. Her job was done, she had to get off, too and wasn't going to risk getting caught here.

Rath climbed out of the vents following the others. Carrying his new weapon in one hand, he began dusting himself off as best he could with the other. Though he couldn't fully remove the soot he got enough off for it not to look fresh. The longer he was outside and walking around the more he regained his breath.

Though he believed the crystals wouldn't be worth much, he was glad to come out with something. His gaze flicked down to his new gun, he was already cleaning and breaking it down for maintenance in his head. Though he lack most finesse skills, he excelled when it came to his weapons.

He was following his comrades when Gellart stopped and addressed them. "Though this wasn't my usual work, it could've gone worse." Gellart finished off offering his services for free if he it involved someone of lower repute. The Mandalorian simply gave him a nod in recognition. He wasn't sure if his skills would be too useful for most of his work, a sentiment he shared about Kate, but it never hurt to have someone with differing skills of your own available for backup.

As Gellart disappeared Kate turned to him, bidding him a separate farewell. He removed his helmet, taking in a deep breath,
"See you around." He then made his way to his ship and left this planet.
