Coruscant
Coruscant. It was a rather stuffy and dirty world in Morbus's opinion, he had spent most of his early life in the gardens of the wealthy on Chandrila. However, he could not deny the appeal of this planet to traders, smugglers, and other more... Unsavory types.

His line of work often led him to meetings of this very sort, held in establishments too nice to be called cantinas or bars, yet not enough to be considered private or exclusive. Absolutely perfect for the type of conversation he was expecting to have with a young Zabrak named David Blue.

The 'lounge' of sorts was already fairly crowded, crowded enough that they wouldn't need to worry about being overheard. Not that many in the place were strangers to illicit business. Morbus had come to the meeting dressed in his usual gear, complete with mask. There was no reason his seller had to know his identity, so long as he was given his credits.

He had never purchased from this contact, so whether he would leave with a cargo of test subjects or not wasn't set in stone. Morbus hoped that he proved to be reliable, lest he need to organize another 'business' meeting of sorts.

David Blue typically handle business deal as a way to make personal gains. David wasn't evil, he just liked to make quick credits, making him dive into the slave trade. He entered the cantina in a white shirt, with a vest over it, a pair of cargo pants, and boots on his legs.

He entered the lounge and looked around for his client. He took his seat,"so you're the guy looking to buy some slaves," he said with a smile of a salesman.

Morbus had only been waiting a short time when the Zabrak entered the room and glanced around, presumably looking for him. It was only a few moments later he was settling himself in in front of Morbus, at the other end of the circular booth. "So you're the guy looking to buy some slaves." Well, he's certainly straight to the point. Morbus simply sat and didn't answer for a moment, looking the young man up and down and eventually settling on his face, right into his eyes.

It was a fairly common method used in deals like these to try and intimidate the opposite party, but to Morbus sizing someone up, very literally, was a matter of course.
"Slave is a very... Harsh word. However, yes, I suppose I am 'that guy'. Before any purchase is finalized I must know the number and race of said subjects." It was all said very fast, with the usual lack of inflection and emotion he adopted when pursuing business.

Morbus sat slightly back in his seat and laid down his hands on the table in front of him, eager to hear about his new supply.

David looked the other in the eye, but instead of becoming intimidated he smiled. "Slave is a very... Harsh word. However, yes, I suppose I am 'that guy'. Before any purchase is finalized I must know the number and race of said subjects." "Well I have three wookiees; one furless age 123 , one a war veteran age 307, and one age 45," he smiled as he continued," I have a Twi'lek, female, age; then I have a human age 26." He looked for a respond

At the current time Morbus was looking for larger specimens to experiment on, preferably of varied species. However, when the young Zabrak listed off three wookies, all with a quirk that made them different from each other under testing, Morbus was intrigued. The Twi'lek was less exciting, they were one of the if not the most enslaved species in the galaxy. He had no use for them, they simply didn't interest him as a species. Humans were extraordinarily easy to come back, however for that very purpose they were a useful baseline of which to make comparisons.

"What is your proffered price for all of them, bar the Twi'lek?." Credits were usually of very little importance, however it would be simple folly not to try to weasel a low price out of a gullible young man.

"What is your proffered price for all of them, bar the Twi'lek?." "the furless is two hundred credits, the veteran is a hundred twenty eight credits, the other wookie is four hundred credits," he smiled for a second,"the last two are special. The human is a Jedi master I defeated and the the Twilek is the the master. The padawan's a six hundred and the master is eight hundred." He knew that would spark more interest.

Morbus listened intently as David listed off the prices for all of the slaves. They were VERY reasonable, laughable almost, and he was ready to seal the deal, especially when he learned the identity of the last two slaves. Oh really... I'll be looking into that. "Your terms are agreeable, keep the 'master', however, much too much trouble.."

Morbus rather thought that the Zabrak was new to the slave trade. No matter, it offered a unique opportunity to exploit and profit off of the deal. Not to mention how interesting force sensitive beings were.

"this is a one time deal, they usually don't come this cheap." he smiled as he motioned the bar tender to bring them some shots of gin. "Chears to a deal well done," he said as he lifed his mug.

He looked at the masked man then said,"what's under that mask of yours? If you don't mind me asking."

Morbus frowned slightly under his mask but never the less accepted the offered drink. Raising it up to mirror his newfound business partner, and putting the drink down shortly after. Drinking was rather difficult with his current clothing, but it offered a good way to answer David's next question.

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a drink." Chuckling darkly, he lifted his hands to the back of the mask and fiddled with the system before removing it from his face. Blinking in the comparatively harsh light and coughing slightly, Morbus raised the drink again, this time taking a sip before setting it down and gazing intently at the Zabrak.

David's childhood interest in science and slavery made him say, "so tell me why you need those slaves?" He leaned back in his chair, reached in the pocket of his black vest, and pull out a white ponytail holder; then he put his beautiful, long, dreaded hair in a ponytail.
