Hello there.

My Jedi Initiate, Vivien, needs to further develop her skills as a Jedi and in the Force. As her father was killed, she is now looking for a suitable master.

IC: She's a polite girl who was raised around the Correlian middle class, considered extremely caring and polite. She is also, however, abrasive and foolhardy, usually attempting things that are often left for more experienced Knights. As such, youd need to have a character with the fortitude and patience to deal with that sort of thing.

OOC: One thing only: you won't be mentor in title alone. I'd like to actually thread up and develop the master/Padawan bond, rather than having a link in the character profiles and nothing more. If we both agree, you'll be leading my character to Knighthood and gaining reputation for it. Mutual benefit, plus more RPs, equals win win.

Two questions, firstly, as it's mentioned in Vivien's bio that she is leaving for the Lothal temple, has she already done so and joined the Order, or are you looking to RP that part out? Second question, what type of Jedi are you looking to craft her into? What's her focus as a character? Her profile mentions her skills but will she be a healer, a soldier, or teacher? Will she try to save the galaxy through diplomacy or by killing every sith that dares threaten her? Will she even try and save the galaxy or will she dedicate her life to study and research? She's a cool character so far, but I'm not sure what kind of threads I'd have my Jedi do with her since I'm not sure what direction you'd like to see her go.

My Jedi are Akasha, aka Emerald, she's a large feline species known as Horansi, she has a tender heart and tends to view younger Jedi as a mother would view her children. She's protective and driven to face the sith to improve the lives of not only the innocents of the galaxy but also her fellow Jedi. Her adopted son, Jalen, is/was recently knighted, though @Kyle: The Rogue and I are still finishing up that particular thread. If you want to get a taste of what Vivien would be in for as Emerald's initiate, I'd recommend reading through these two threads: Beauty and the Beast and Crystal Caves of Ilum.

My other Jedi, Kasiya, is a temple guard, she spends most of her time doing specific types of missions or hanging around the Onderon temple. She's the type to investigate something in or around the temple on Onderon, be sent to investigate an internal issue at another temple or be sent to track down a fellow Jedi. She'd drill Vivien combat wise and be more focused on making sure she had a well defined skillset whereas Emerald is a lot more personal. This is also because I haven't been Rping Kasiya long so her personality personal relationships are still up for grabs so to speak. Considers her fellow Jedi to be brothers and sisters and takes a great deal of pride in being a Jedi, a bit over zealous and arrogant at times, but also takes betrayal very serious. Kasiya is a lot more of a "by the book" type than Emerald, who's more free flowing, but Kasiya isn't one to be inflexible. So long as your not breaking one of the core tenets of the Jedi she'll probably bend a few rules herself. She's only been in two threads, both of which are still ongoing, so if you want to read them to get a feel for Kasiya as a character her profile, as well as Emerald's is linked down below in my signature.​

I'll throw my two Knights up for consideration and the links are in their sig. Xenefious is more inexperienced and eager but would love a student while Celtar would likely have one assigned to him rather than choosing one. He's experienced, though is far from a perfect Jedi and she'd probably pick up a few bad tricks.

If you decide to chose Emerald/Akasha (@Undine) as Vivien's master, I will offer my character Jalen Kron, Emerald's adopted son and (very recently) former apprentice as a friend/additional mentor figure for Vivien. They're about the same age and Jalen has been with the Jedi for 5 years, so he could help her grow to be a Jedi. Since Jalen is Emerald's adopted son, if Vivien becomes her padawan I think the trio would probably spend a lot of time together, although less than just Emerald and Vivien since Jalen is now a Knight. Great character by the way!

She is a member of the Jedi.

Vivien will likely pick up on her mother's archetype, likely focusing on skills with a blade over the pristine uses of the Force. Very combat oriented and very driven towards wiping the Sith out (After all, they cost her both her parents, as well as countless other innocents), but is not unwilling to compromise and recognizes that many soldiers within the Empire aren't monsters, simply people who believe what they're doing is right and that it is the Jedi who are evil (She uses non-lethal tactics against footsoldiers and low ranking Legion members). Think Jedi Defender. She will likely remain very naive unless the Galaxy forces her to think otherwise, always keeping her blade close at hand but willing to speak before it becomes necessary.

Honestly, she's never had a mother figure, being raised by Cecil her entire life. Usually overprotected. I'll read through profiles tonight and tomorrow and let y'all know.

The most RP I've done with her so far has been Girl's Night Out. (Keep in mind she is intoxicated a grieving over her father's death. She isn't always so volatile.)

Alright. So I've looked at profiles, and without surprise I think Emerald would likely be the best fit for IC and OOC reasons. I don't have much time to RP, so someone with experience and used to the whole Padawan/Master dealio. However, Vivien can still learn from all of you in some way or another!

Would you prefer to have them meet on Lothal or somewhere else? Emerald finds Lothal to be creepy and Dantooine is a bit overused. I'm good everywhere else, doesn't have to be a Jedi planet either.​

The Republic fell months ago, most of their territory is controlled by the sith. Here is a map: Link

Lothal and Naboo are both controlled by the Jedi, pretty much anywhere in Hutt space is fairly safe for a Jedi since we also control Nal Hutta, Nar Shaddaa and have an alliance with the Hutts in general, so their territory even outside our reach is kinda a safe zone. We are also allies of the Mandalorians, so we could meet up in their territory as well.​
