Information on planet

Good day, people!

I have maybe a stupid question but i couldnt find an answer for it on my own.
Where can i find information on current state of affares on certain planet, for example coruscant?
Is it a burned down rock or still a planet wide city?

Thanks in advance and sorry if im being stupid.

It's pretty much a burned rock. The Sith Empress devastated the Coruscant ten years ago in the story after her forces conquered the planet. There isn't much living on the planet except for Sith have set up a temple there and some kind of Sithspawn monsters roaming the wastelands.
