Infiltration of Taris
Taris is a planet dominated by a continent which is covered entirely by one city. Its most important resources is its Kelp farms. They help not only to provide food stuffs for the planet's inhabitants but many of the local systems as well. The planet is of vital importance not only due to its resources but also its location. It sits on the Hydian Way as well as the Mandalorian Road. This access to shipping makes the planet a high priority target for the Old Empire.
The large city itself is broken into two distinct cultures. There is the human dominated upper city where the wealthy live. The lower city is primarily populated with aliens and that group lives on the edge of poverty. The lower city or Under Taris as it is known, has a reputation for organized crime, gangs and drugs. To fully control Taris, you must control not only the upper city but also the lower.
The news programs are awash with the tales of the Mandalorian attacks on the Imperial Republica. Where the Mandalorians are getting all of the attention, the Old Empire will follow their attacks and snap up worlds they have passed. This begins on Taris. The Old Empire has seen that the attention of the Imperial Republica is fixed upon the Mandalorian aggression and he intends to capitalize on that aggression with some of his own.

Political infighting can be especially vicious and every politician has made a few enemies in the past. The object here is to discover the political rivals to the governor of Taris and meet with them. You must gain their support for the Old Empire and in exchange their political group will be given the administration of Taris in the name of the OE.

Just like in the ancient Terran city, a city may have politicians, but they are elected and ruled by the people and pubic opinion. Due to its proximity to the Old Empire, there are local groups that are sympathetic to the cause. Make contact with these groups and assist them in starting an insurrection on the planet to show the governor who really controls Taris.

Taris is still a planet in the Imperial Republica. The Republica has a military presence there. You must infiltrate the planet and strike at their communications base on planet. Your mission is to infiltrate the base and slice into their communications. We need to know what they know and see what they see. This will also give us the opportunity to broadcast if needed on all of their trid vision and news stations.

As the surface of Taris is one large city, Under Taris is ruled by the gangs and organize criminal organizations that one might expect. Your mission is to infiltrate the underworld of Under Taris, discover who is really in control there and make a deal to have the Underworld of Taris as our ally in this fight.

The Kelp farms of Taris are its number one export and keep not only its people fed but people across the galaxy. Unfortunately, there is some sort of disturbance in the Taris sea that is causing the Kelp harvest to have issues. Equipment is being destroyed and the harvest is in trouble. Your mission is to make contact with the Kelp farmers and discover the source of this issue, then destroy it. This will gain the trust of the farmers. The Kelp must flow.

The Republica will not go down without a fight. Your mission is to attack a major bastion of resistance for the Republica, the Ambassadors mansion. The Ambassadors head is the trophy we require to show your true adherence to the Rule of the Strong. You should expect heavy resistance but this will sweep away the last of the Republica's control of Taris.
