Billie usually did not like traveling outside of Coruscant, let along the Core Worlds, to meet her clients. She liked the luxury of wining and dining her clients in the high-rise restaurants of her homeworld, or at the very least, the comfort of a holocall from her sofa. That being said, Billie had never been to Indupar, and pictures of it on the holonet made it seem like a rather relaxing place to visit. So when Galek Ordalos' request pinged her, she decided to accept.

The woman arrived at their meeting location, shortly before the dated time. Her assistant, Aliss, had not joined her this time and her butler, Cara, had joined her instead. Ideally, she would bring both, but they could not stand each other for more than an hour at a time. After her consultation with Galek tonight, she would be spending a couple of days in a nice hotel while she worked on his garment. Might as well get it all done here. "Don't forget your briefcase." Billie would turn around to Cara holding her black leather briefcase out for her to take. "Ah, thank you." She wouldn't have forgotten it, but she supposed she might as well take it now. The ship's ramp extended out and hit the ground below them, revealing the waiting Galek several meters away.

Billie descended down the ramp, wearing a monochrome, beige ensemble and a pair of silk gloves in the same hue. She was six foot six without the heels, and with them, six foot eight. She was over a foot taller than the woman beside her. Briefcase in hand, she approached Galek, giving him a bow of her head when she reached him. "Governor," she would say in a naturally hushed voice. "It is wonderful to meet you. Shall we?"

Galek opted to receive Billie at the same country villa he had hosted his gala only days prior. The prince much preferred to conduct most of his business at the location - the same one which had been his residence during Galek's tenure as administrator of this very province. It was far removed from the capital city, a paradise where he was blissfully isolated from the cutthroat schemes and court intrigue that dominated Induparian politics. One where he could actually get some work done.

Truthfully, Galek had almost been reluctant to ask the woman to come. His simpler suits had served him well enough as a provincial administrator, why should he go through the trouble of revolutionizing his wardrobe now? It had mostly been the hounding of his advisors – men and women who argued he ‘ought to stand out in a crowd, dressed to the nines whenever the cameras were rolling – that finally caused him to cave in.

The Coruscanti woman’s ship touched down on a landing pad built precariously above one of the roaring waterfalls that dotted the landscape, the sound of rushing water that poured over sheer cliffs for hundreds of meters almost too loud to have conversation over. “Miss Bonheur, such a pleasure.” Galek extended a hand to shake once she was within reach. greeting the infamous designer with a courteous bow of his head and wide smile. The prince was accompanied by a modest entourage with two
guards standing like statues at his side while an additional attendant hovered close by.

“Please, follow me.”

The attendant would offer to carry the briefcase for Billie as Galek led her inside the spacious villa. Eventually they would arrive within a large seating area - the walls tastefully decorated with art from across the Ado sector, while long crimson couche sat at the center of the room. A large holo-table was positioned there, capable of projecting any designs the woman might have brought with her.

Taking his seat, Galek gestured to a server droid nearby. “Can I offer you something to drink? Tea, Coffee.. Wine, perhaps?”

Cara would leave to return to their ship as Billie followed Galek into the villa, her briefcase being carried by his attendant. The room was large, filled with warm hues and designs which very much spoke of wealth to the Coruscanti woman. Her icy gaze traveled around the room as she entered and took her seat, finally settling on the governor when he spoke.

"Tea would be appreciated," the soft-spoken woman would respond in the direction of the droid. "A simple black tea with sugar would be just fine." Her eyes would then return back to Galek. "Firstly, thank you for commissioning me. I have been looking for an excuse to visit Indupar, I must admit." Billie would sit back a little in her seat, allowing her legs a little more room, though she remained upright. "Let us go ahead and get down to business. What exactly are you looking for in a garment? Be as specific as you would like."

Galek began to relax as he settled comfortably into the plush cushions of the couch, arms brought up to splay wide across the backboard while crossing one leg across the knee. His gaze turned to the droid for a moment, waving a hand in its direction. “And a glass of wine for me.” With that the droid shuffled away, off to collect refreshments based upon their specifications.

“Please, the pleasure is all mine, Miss Bonheur. Your reputation is nothing short of legendary, even here in the Mid-Rim. I could not ask for a better designer for this piece.” He waved a hand in her direction, flashing her a polite smile when she mentioned a desire to see the planet he called home. "We Induparians pride ourselves on the natural beauty of our planet - and there is no better place to witness it than here, if you ask me."

It did not take long for the droid to return, a silver tray held within its arms. While Galek was handed a crystal glass filled with wine, a ceramic cup was set out in front of Billie. As per her request, the tea was dark brown and earthy, a single cube of sugar mixed in to cut through the bitterness. Additionally, several small pastries and appetizers were laid out nearby - just incase they happened to work up an appetite over the course of their discussion.

“As for the garment,” He began by reaching forward, typing a command into the holo-table positioned between them and causing it to project a new display. Indupar was a planet known across the galaxy for its influential aristocracy and noble traditions, and the customary garments Galek projected on the holo-table for were a clear reflection of that. Displayed were images of flowing robes and delicate embroidery, most ensembles accessorized by a sash that wrapped complexly around the shoulder and arm.

“I would like something that incorporates some of the traditional styles of my homeworld that you see here, while also possessing a bit of modernity - less flamboyant. Something suitable for my position as the face of Indupar on the galactic stage. Beyond that? I leave myself in your experienced hands, as far as the details go.”

Miss Bonheur. She was glad to know, at least, that she didn't look a day over twenty. Billie waited quietly while he spoke, moving only to accept the tea when it arrived. A single cube of sugar was just how she took her tea. She sipped on the hot liquid quietly while he described what he had in mind. Traditional style. She was vaguely familiar with the traditional clothing of Indupar, so his projections were an appreciated reference. Modern, but not flamboyant. That could be more up for interpretation, but a simplification of traditional design would probably suit the meaning. One pattern rather than several, with a modern cut paired with the traditional silhouette.

"Well, I can certainly work with that," Billie would respond in her quiet voice. He had given much more than many of her clients did. "Do you have a preference on color? Color can either be a preference of yours, or it can be a tool utilized to invoke certain feelings." Red, for example, was bold and screamed power. Blue could also be bold, but it was a more subtle bold; an indicator of a matureness. And those were only two examples.

Galek tapped a finger against his wine glass, taking a long drink from it while Billie spoke. The stamp on the bottle suggested a Nabooian vintage, looking as if it had been aged for some time within the prince’s cellar.

“Color..” He paused for a moment, thinking on the question. “I am open to suggestions - after all, you are the designer.” Galek tipped his glass in her direction. “But something in red, perhaps? It certainly would be a bold choice, without being too over-the-top.” He shrugged a bit. The reality was, Galek had hardly the time to keep up on the latest Galactic fashion trends, his opinions thus far a reflection solely of his own preferences and tastes. “Floral embroidery and filigree is also rather prominent here on Indupar. So perhaps a piece that utilizes this as well?”

As they spoke, Galek waved down another attendant who brought the appetizers. The first to arrive carried small palm-sized fruits which had been delicately assorted on the tray, split open and stuffed with some sort of soft cheese and drizzled with a sweet syrup. Galek plucked one such morsal from the tray, waving the servant down to Billie. “Measurements, I’m sure, can be taken once the details are in order.”

"Red? It would certainly suit you." Billie picked up one of the fruits and popped it into her mouth. It was certainly sweet, but not overwhelming so. "If you're afraid it might be too bold, we could always opt for a more orange-toned red, as well. Floral embroidery would be wonderful, as well. I quite like working with embroidered fabrics."

Billie would take another sip of her tea before she continued. "If you would give me a moment, I can sketch some concepts for you." The designer would then receive her briefcase from whichever servant held it. She set it on her lap, opened it, and removed an insert and a sheet of paper. Once the briefcase was set to her side, she would begin to sketch a vaguely masculine figure. Over it she drew a silhouette similar to the garments he had displayed.

After a few moments she would display the drawing to him. There were two: one had a minimal amount of the designs he had mentioned, while the other predominantly used them. "Which do you prefer?"

Galek watched curiously as the woman went to work, pulling out a pad to begin sketching out a design. There was an initial look of shock on the part of the Induparan, silent bemusement painted across his features. He expected her to take his ideas and document them for another time, only putting them to paper once she was back within the comfort of her own studio. That had been the standard procedure for every other tailor the prince had interacted with.

Instead, here she was, taking what little information he’d provided and already going about preparing a design based upon it. The prince’s head tilted to left, clearly impressed with the woman that he had commissioned. It was nothing short of intriguing to witness.

When she held them out for him to inspect, Galek took a moment to consider them both before finally pointing to the one on the left. The sketch he pointed out had been the option that utilized the traditional styles more extensively. It was an ensemble of long, slender-cut robes with floral filigree sketched across the surface. While significantly less flamboyant and over-the-top than the traditional styles, it remained true to the core design elements that Galek had laid out – even going so far as to maintain the embroidered sash that draped over shoulder and wrapped the lower back.

“I believe this one will do quite nicely. A lovely sketch, by the way. Your reputation was not an exaggeration.”

"My thanks," Billie would muse before returning the sketch to her briefcase. "I will acquire the fabric but I cannot begin until your exact measurements are taken," she added as she stood. She was quite happy that he chose the more complicated design; she loved embroidering fabrics. It was a good way to spend the day away, and a good excuse to not go out.

"Is there anything else you may request?"
