It was certainly one of those places that one went when they absolutely had to and not some place where you would volunteer your weekend. What was once a booming mining colony during the age of the Empire, the city now was just a place where one got away to hide or they were here because they had no where else to go. Once the ores had dried up, the mining colony fell abandoned until smugglers and pirates started to call home to this arid world. Soon the city became a place of refuge and it grew, building on top of building as the city expanded into the mountains; the levels creating their own altitude that challenged the natural peaks that once spotted this world.

A natural order came to be here, credits moved into the hands of the toughest and smartest, and many of the residents on this former mining colony fell into a life of survival in the slums. The city towered, structures topped each other, a constant competition to make it upward; fortune sat in those who were able to own enough space to have their own refresher. There were certainly worse places one could be in the galaxy, here at least if you needed someone to watch your back, that was easy to find, but it was also not difficult to develop enemies or attract them.

That seemed to occur with one fellow who came to this colony to hide. Though with his inability to keep his opinions to himself, he seemed to draw in a particular group who wanted to see him skinned alive by the cruelest of Zygarrian slavers. He was a brilliant Arkanian, but like his species, he was arrogant and there for a fool. The Sith Lord was not entirely thrilled about dealing with his abrasive personality - though it wasn't the first time she has dealt with such - he would be an immense asset to her further research and development of hypergate and near-instantaneous teleportation technology. She would just need to find him before others did.

Luckily there were some volunteers who would be helping her in tracking down the elusive, albeit showy scientist.

Sat in his dormitory for most of the journey, Bir allowed himself to be lost in meditation. Since his forceful corruption, the Kel Dor had been consumed by madness and despair as his true self was forced to be locked away and bare witness to the atrocities this new version of himself committed. The man he once was would scream, plead, beg for the violence and insanity to cease. Instead it only further propelled his descent into darkness. He had finally come to the conclusion that it was this struggle between his past and present that was holding him back from his future, the true cause of his sporadic black outs that would carry him from one end of the galaxy to the other. It had become clear to the Acolyte that if he ever wanted to ascend through the ranks of the Sith and claim the title that was rightfully his, he would need to shed both his past and his present. He would need to live for only what was to come.

This train of thought had led the Kel Dor to search for those wiser than himself, the options of such numbering in the thousands but few he believed he could trust. Trust, after all, had been the folly of many Sith in the past. Regardless, he knew he could only turn to the Lords of his Order if he had any inkling of hope at healing his mind and claiming the strength that he knew he could one day attain. To receive their wisdom and advice, he would need to earn it.

And so here he was, orbiting some far away world to assist a Sith Lord of whom he was not familiar in a task that he could not comprehend. Not the capture of a scientist, of course. The ‘who’ was the simple part. It was the reason why that puzzled the young Sith. He had received no description of what this man was meant to do, why he was so valuable to this Sith Lord. Only that his capture was paramount and that he had found himself a growing number of enemies who sought his demise as the days passed by. As such, they would likely not be the only forces in pursuit but they would be the ones to succeed.

Arriving in the city turned Pirate hide-out, Bir pulled the hood of his cloak further over his head as he scanned the faces of the vast multitude of species that called this dust pit home. It didn’t require the Force to know that they were merely the dirt underneath the galaxies finger nails but as Bir laid his eyes on the crimson haired woman a short distance away, he knew he had found who he was here to serve. She stood out of the crowd like a beacon in the darkest reaches of space and as Bir approached, he made sure to keep his distance and spoke only when he was facing away from the Sith Lord to ensure that if she wished for secrecy, it would be what she received.

”M’lady. I have answered your summons,” Bir whispered though a high pitched chuckle escaped him as he watched a group of pirates vanish into what he could only assume was their hide out. ”Quite the lovely piece of filth you’ve drug us too, isn’t it?”

Pedee would also answer the summons, eager to help out a fellow lady and please another of the Sith Lords. Pedee had to be honest, when briefed on who they are looking for, an amoral, abrasive scientist, she thought at first it maybe talking about Pedee's own Father, Newton Arden. It would be weird if she had to hunt him, but alas further on in the briefing it's an Arkanian. So it can't be her dad she's hunting. Oh well.

Since they have to go into a hideout, it would be weird for the shiny P1-D3S droid to be flaunting it's chassis around, it may invite trouble around these parts, trouble that could get in their way when it's not needed. To that end, Pedee would be wearing a poncho along with a hooded cloak. The combination of those two would conceal quite a bit of her body and some of her head. She had her usual other equipment on her otherwise. Other than not being super obvious, she didn't care to much for stealth like the alien Sith seem to have.

When Pedee arrived, she would greet Tiamat. "Lady Tiamat, it is nice to see you again" she said quietly and nodded her head towards the Sith Lord. It has been awhile that Pedee has seen Tiamat, and she wasn't in the best shape either. It is nice to know she is doing again.

Pedee saw the group of pirates that went into that place "Would they happen to know where our VIP is?" Maybe so, maybe not. Maybe they might know where they are if Pedee clobbers them hard enough.

Right on time, her two companions for this retrieval had arrived. The woman lowered her chin and adjusted the hood of her cowl to cover her head, Pedee would follow right behind him. This acolyte she was uncertain of his credentials so far, but there was enough curiousness that bit and lured her into wanting to find underlings who shared her interest in advancing the Order in more ways than just the simple conquer and subjugate. The Kel Dor quipped about the representation of this city, "As is, not very many are willing to pick through the filth to find what they want." she stated and turned her gaze to Pedee, a small grin pulled at the corner of her lip.

"Pedee, always a pleasure." she reached under the lip of her cowl and unclipped a lightsaber and handed it to Pedee. It was the one she had used to escape the prison with Darth Raze and knowing the droid had saved her original saber and returned it to her, she saw it as fitting to ensure the droid had her own. "As repayment for recovering my saber, you deserve one of your own." she explained and then quickly turned her attention to the group of pirates who entered a shoddy looking office building. "I never knew pirates to have desk jobs." she directed, glancing at Bir and then back to Pedee.

"We're here to bring back an Arkanian scientist. A bit cheek and showy, I need him alive and I'm sure he will like to remain alive as much as I would to assist me in my work." she explained, pulling out a palm-sized image caster, the holo image quickly illuminating the face of the Arkanian before she clicked it off. "Lets go, I don't care about anyone else who gets in our way to complete this job." she said, setting the terms for their task before leading the way to the building.

The Kel Dor was always curious, always anxious to learn and always eager for a fight. It seemed that by joining forces to see Lady Tiamat’s goals to completion would satisfy all things as she explained what it was they were doing. Tracking down a runaway scientist was simple enough; the fact that the Arkanian had seemingly elected to stow himself away in the care of pirates? Well, that would just add a layer of enjoyment to their endeavor.

Taking a moment to look over the droid that had arrived in tandem, Bir found himself admiring it’s design. Sleek, combat ready and no doubt expensive. He had never seen a machine such as this. Pedee’s appearance made his own prosthetic look out of date in comparison. He could not deny an eagerness to see such a creation in action.

”Desk jobs?” Bir chuckled as he followed the Lady with the lightsaber wielding assassin droid along-side. ”I didn’t even know pirates could read, let alone work a computer,” Despite his jestful approach, the Acolyte had a sneaking suspicion of what actually transpired within these walls. If these outlaws harbored a man such as the one they sought, what sort of activities could occur behind closed doors and away from prying eyes? Or perhaps he was a prisoner and this would be a liberation?

Entering the building and escaping the filthy streets, the trio would see that the inside was not much better in cleanliness. One could write a novel on the walls by simply dragging their finger through the dust, overturned shelves lining the foyer while their contents scattered across the floor. A typical pirate den to be sure, further evident as the group of outlaws that they had watched enter moments before congregating around the door that led further within the facility. Four sets of eyes turned to meet the shrouded trio, Lady Tiamat in the lead.

“You lost? Get the hell outta here!” one man would spit as he set his hand on the blaster on his hip. Bir’s face would contort into a beaming grin as both hands would extend wide as though he had known these men for a lifetime.

”Well that’s not very inviting, my friends!” he exclaimed, subtly coiling the Force around two of the fallen shelves to either side of the group.

“That’s kinda the point, you ugly piece of shit,”

“Then again, the girl can stay…” another pirate piped up, eyeing Tiamat with a sinister grin. Shaking his head in disappointment Bir would bring both arms together, each of the shelves surging forward and sandwiching the outlaws between them. Clicking his tongue to the roof of his mouth beneath his mask, the Kel Dor proceeded to cross his arms.

”How rude…”

Pedee would accept the lightsaber with both hands and bow her head. She wanted to say 'thank you' but then pirates went into that office building. Pedee would sheath her new lightsaber for now. Tiamat reiterated the goals and objective. The scientist needs be brought in alive, and unharmed if possible. Anyone else is irrelevant, they can be killed, and Pedee is most eager to get to that. People would have to be utter fools to stand in the way of the Sith trio.

They went inside the building and it was just as blighted as everywhere else in the city. There would be for pirates, they would exchange some unpleasant pleasantries. Pedee internally sighed as she wanted to kill them but wondered if they could get the exact location of where the Arkanian would be in this office building. After Bir did his thing with the force, doing some serious damage to all of them. Two of them appeared to be dead or unconscious, two would be alive and were crawling trying to get on their feet. Pedee would leap towards them. Then she would single out one of them, smash her right durasteel-laden heel on the neck of the pirate who lusted over Lady Tiamat, brutally ending him. "Filth" she said as the pirate was killed in dying agony.

Pedee would then grab another pirate by the shirt and hoist him in the air to interrogate him on the spot. "I will only ask this once, where is the Arkanian?" Pedee demanded of them. The pirate would then respond "Manager's office..." the pirate would then cough "floor..." and the remaining pirate would pass out. Pedee would then toss him aside like trash. "Looks like we need to find this manager's office. Where ever it is" she told the group. This is three story building so this may take some time, and they may have more pirates in their way as they try to get to the scientist.

They best keep moving then.

The two of them were efficient when they entered. Those that were patrolling inside clearly had little knowledge to who they were, which was good for them, at least they were not expected. She allowed Bir to respond as deemed he felt necessary to the outburst from the group. The bookshelves suddenly sandwiched several of them, there was a crack of bone that followed the wet thack and a good outcome so far. Pedee assisted, targeting the one who vocalized his lust for her and then took her direct approach that could be much appreciated by the the Sith woman.

"Manager's office..." she muttered displeased now they had to scour the building for this scientist. She nodded and lead the way, moving further into the building. Though it was dilapidated, there was enough that still made it functional. As they approached a secured door, there was not much resistance that could keep her out of locks. She could sense others in the building, luckily not on alert as she raised her palm against the door lock, freeing the magnet that held it shut.

The hall they entered was lined evenly with doors to adjacent offices, broken furniture lined the rooms and halls but all seemed pretty quiet compared to the entrance, however, listening carefully footsteps could be heard on the floor above them. The door to the stairwell opened wide and exited a pair of mercenaries taken by surprise at the group. They reached for their weapons but Tiamat raised both her palms without much effort the twi'lek and the humanoid rose from the ground, grasping at their throats. The dark side siphoned their energy as Tiamat walked forward and up the stairs, leaving their bodies limp on the floor.

It would be interesting to see if the second floor had a bit more to offer.

Bir had learned long ago that his well being was better protected with few questions asked but he could not deny an ever growing curiosity as to what it was that Lady Tiamat had wanted with this Arkanian. What was it that this scientist had done to find himself detained and set to be executed by these sorry excuses for gangsters? Was he even still alive? Such questions and many more swirled in the Kel Dor’s mind as they proceeded through the remainder of the first floor and when Lady Tiamat had dispatched a pair of unsuspecting thugs, he watched in awe. They were far from lean men, undoubtedly capable fighters judging by their physical build, but by the time the Darth released her invisible grasp they had become gaunt corpses. Sunken cheeks, soulless eyes… A truly spectacular work of art.

”What a wonderful trick!” Bir stated excitedly, albeit in a hushed tone, as he rapidly clapped his hands while bouncing back and forth between his toes. A massive grin contorted the muscles of his face as he inspected the dead, leaning down and poking the elevated ridges of the man’s cheek bones. ”Simply magnificent!” But as Tia and Pedee continued on into the stairwell, Bir was forced to follow or be left behind. It was clear that there was much he could learn from this Sith Lady but for now, it would have to be done through observation.

Ascending the stairwell, the trio would arrive upon the landing that would lead them into the second floor or around the bend to the stairs that would take them further up. Pedee had discovered the location of the prisoner; the manager’s office. Logically, Bir assumed it would be on the top floor and overlooking the streets below. Why wouldn’t the executive in charge of whatever operation this structure had been intended give themselves the greatest view?

”I suggest we continue upward, Lady,” Bir whispered to Tia though giving Pedee a nod of acknowledgement. However, the sounds of whispering voices on the other side of the door that led to the second floor cut him off. Looking between them both, Bir proceeded to pull his hilt from his belt and placed the emitter directly against the door. He closed his eyes and reached out. Three people, all unaware of what was opposite the wall at their backs. Moving the hilt to the far right side of the door at neck height of your average being, eyes still closed, the Acolyte proceeded to raise his left hand and coiled the Force around those beyond the door. Pulling his hand back, he would simultaneously activate his weapon and drag the crimson blade across the door in a horizontal line as three separate impacts slammed into it. As the blade reached the far left, it retracted and three slumping corpses could be heard.

Bir peeked through the incision in the wall he had just created; nothing. Turning to face Tiamat, his beaming grin returned.

”Got ‘em!” he stated with pride though it would be short lived.

“What the fuck was that?”

“Check it out!”

”.... Uh oh,” Bir concluded, though a high pitched chuckle echoed within the stairwell.

The Force is a wonderful thing to have, you can do all sorts of stuff with it too. But as a machine, Pedee was the odd-one out as a machine and therefore can't use the force. As such she has to rely on the prowess that her Father gave her on her creation.

"I'll get this"
Pedee quietly said. The other pirates would see a large cut-in created by searing plasma and three guards. They understandably had weapons and were inching close and closer. Pedee has motion sensors, so she can hear their footsteps. As the pirates would be close even with their guard up that wouldn't prepare them for what's on the other side as they would get ready to go through the door. Pedee winded up her right fist and threw a nasty punch with her phrik-armored right hand that would smash through the door and around where the average humanoid's chest would be. The punch would pierce right through the chest cavity of the helpless fool.

The other pirate would panic audiably and then fire, but Pedee would just use the meatbag she is impaling as a shield, using it to block blaster shots at her. She would push the dead pirate at the other one, knocking him down, then she would then pounce on him while he is down and then throw a few punches with alternating hands in face that would brutalize and kill the last pirate. It was pretty bloody.

Now with the way clear, Pedee would gesture for them they are clear to proceed. Upwards it is. "They will probably have more meatbags top floor. Nothing we can't handle though, of course" she said. It was probably worth noting.

At the end of the stairwell, there would be a metallic door, Pedee would open the door and there would be a cross hallway section. The Sith team would be able to catch a glimpse of a human-like alien with four arms and heavy armor. He looked like he was holding four blaster pistols. There would be a few other rifle-armed pirate flunkies following him too. Pedee could hear yelling from looks to be the Codru-ji. "What do you mean they aren't responding?!?" there would be a "Somethings going on no doubt. All forces, first sign of trouble, blast it! Keep safe our prize..." then what he would be saying is inaudible, as he would be out of earshot. The pirate leader and his goons didn't seem to notice them though.

"They might lead the way to our VIP" Pedee suggested following them as much as they can.

The marauder's enthusiasm brought a small grin to the woman's face as they climbed up the stair well. They were of course met with more resistance, or at least it was minimal resistance from other pirates who occupied these halls. It seemed they were not catching on quickly to the ruckus that was occurring on the floors below them and she stood in silence, but satisfied to the quick handling of the guards as they entered the second floor.

Bir took out the first set of guards, but his enthusiasm seemed to startle another patrol that Pedee swiftly and violently handled. It would seem of course their scientist was not on this floor, of course, but it was best to clear it anyways to avoid being overwhelmed if they went to the very top floor. Besides, it seemed like a good exercise and a stretch of senses and skill that Tiamat had not have to do in quite some time. The extra body count just added to experience.

Onto the third floor and Pedee picked something up on her sensors. Tiamat paused with Bir, listening as they could hear the voices on the other side of the door, now more concern as to no one checking in to their comms. They certainly would be more prepared if they know someone was coming, but they would not be prepared for three sith of considerable skill.

Tiamat nodded and she held up a palm, signaling them to follow her. The Force was a brilliant tool that Tiamat had learned to intertwine in all her movements; it did not take much effort to follow, her steps quiet, her breath unheard by the beings who were heading back to where the Arkanian was located to check on their credits. The codru-ji and several of the rifle men seemed to take off down a different hall toward a stairwell while two others seemed to pause and stand guard. Tiamat frowned and glanced at Bir and Pedee, holding up a single finger for them to stay put.

Weak minds seemed to be prevalent in the pirating world, arrogance and blinded loyalty made it easy for Tiamat to sink her fingers into their minds. Their eyes focused on her as she came out from hiding, but she had a solid control over their will as she felt them wanting to resist and scream, fire their weapons, and she was certain the one human wanted to kriff her...which brought an annoyed sigh.

"Walk me to the room where the Arkanian Scientist is staying."

Tiamat feeling them comply, their shoulders relaxed, hands and fingers off the trigger, and they started walking in the direction of a locked set of double doors.

The death count since their arrival had slowly continued to rise, each member of the invading trio having dimmed the light of life from more than their fair share of the pirates that occupied this den. It seemed they were only just getting started. Lady Tiamat’s command of the Force was frightening while the killbot known as Pedee demonstrated combat programming that well exceeded what a typical assassin droid would possess. Bir himself would confess a feeling of mediocrity, his talent in the Force paled by the Lady while his cruelty was overshadowed by the savage assaults of the droid, but he was simply having too much fun to care.

As Lady Tiamat bent the minds of the two guards to her will, the Kel Dor remained beside the Blackwell droid and watched with delight as they succumbed to her efforts. They stood no chance; how could they? She was a Sith Lord. They were nothing, merely single grains of sand in the vast deserts of Tatooine in comparison. As such, they would begin to lead the way down the corridor at her command. Bir would not wait any longer and sped to catch up to them, past Lady Tiamat until he walked directly behind her captives. Raising both hands above their heads, long and slow strides keeping him an equal distance, the Acolyte chuckled to himself as he danced his fingers above.

”When the blood moon rises,
In the broken Derra sky,
A crooked smile crosses her lips,
A tear in un-knowing eyes,

The puppet master pulls the strings,
The puppets seem surprised,
They dance in the moonlight,
In the yard where graves reside,

Moving to their Master’s will,
They dance the dance of death,
Their tears fall like rain,
Soaking Into Ground,

The puppet master pulls the strings,
They dance round and round,
They’ll dance until the Master’s done,
And then she’ll lay them down,”

Bir sang the poem softly, though loud enough that if someone was listening that they would hear him word for word, chuckling between each verse. It was an old sonnet of which he could not recall where he had learned it but despite that, the words came back to him clear as day at this moment. It was happening more frequently, flashes of his old life coming back in waves. Sometimes, times such as this, the memories were pleasant. Near welcome. Others, they made the Kel Dor desperate to tear his eyes out or ears off in hopes of ripping the images and words from his mind. Alas, he could only ever discover one way to silence them; Chaos. And as the pirates came to a halt at a large and locked office door, the hushed sounds of panicked men beyond it, Bir knew that chaos would soon resume.

Pedee would follow not long after Bir, she would be able to hear the poem for the acolyte. She knew he was saying words, alluding to what's going on right now. Seems apt, even if she is not the artsy one.

They would come to the locked double doors. This must be the manager's office. Pedee could hack the locked door, but, it would be much more easier just to use the lightsaber she was gifted with earlier. But then again, they would be able to hear the lightsaber ignite from the other side. Pedee would stick her scomp-link through the port near the door. Pedee would also ready her lightsaber in other hand. "We can use them as meatshields still right" she asked Lady Tiamat that once their purpose of the mind-tricked pirates leading them to the scientist is done they can be used for one more thing before they need to die.

'3' she said, giving a count-down as they are breaching through the doors.

'2'

'1'

And now the door is unlocked and would open.

A group of six riflemen would be inside with their weapons at the ready and they would fire at the Sith with their weapons

Pedee would quickly ignite her lightsaber and throw it at one of the riflemen. She didn't really need the force to throw it well, she just flinged it, and the blade end would slice and dice through one of the pirate's torsos. That's one down. Pedee would then take cover around the door way and draw out her heavy blaster and begin firing heavy blaster shots.

The scientist is hiding behind a turned over desk out of line of sight at the end of the office.

One of the thugs were struggling against her grasp, while the other seemed to succumb to the fate that he was allowed to follow by her. The group approached the double doors and Tiamat could sense the others behind, there was fear that seemed to seep through the walls and the anticipation for something that may not end on what they would prefer to be good terms or profitable. Tiamat stood quietly as Pedee suggested using the two as meat-shields and Tiamat grinned, enjoying the droid's thought processes regarding their goal and complete disregard of who got in their way.

The droid started to plug and unlock the doors as Tiamat readied herself behind the men, she could feel the heartbeat of one begin to race as he realized what was about to happen. The count down came and then the doors opened, rifles opened fire and the fear and agony her meat shields endured ripped through the Force and Tiamat thrived in their pain.

Blaster bolts tore through their armor and charcoaled their bodies until Tiamat launched the corpses at the thugs. Pedee's saber cut into one, while another three were knocked over by the bodies, nearly mortified they just killed their brethren. Tiamat's saber snapped to her palm, the red blade screamed as she cut down another while the other still standing charged at Bir. She looked around quickly spotting the scientist in hiding.

As the doors swung open, Bir could not contain a hearty cackle as his lightsaber snapped to life with both arms in a wide stance as though to welcome one last opportunity for the pirates to bring their enemy to his knees. Despite their efforts in doing so, the bodies of their influenced brothers soaked up most of the blaster fire while both Lady Tiamat and Pedee began to cut through them with swathes of their own crimson blades. Bir’s own hilt soared from his right hand to his left in time to deflect an errant bolt backward and into the lone light fixture of the room. Cast into darkness, the only source of light coming from the trio of glowing red blades, the Kel Dor advanced in time for one man to take a desperate charge towards him.

With his metal prosthetic, Bir swiftly backhanded the oncoming pirate across the jaw with a sick and satisfying pop. He was still alive as the Acolyte bent down, wrapping his robotic fingers around his throat and lifting him upward to stare into his panicked eyes. Bir’s own face, still contorted into a maniacal grin beneath his rebreather and goggles, grew further away as he continued to elevate the man in his grasp, of whom desperately tried to plead for his life with his widely set jaw.

”The moment between life and death…” Bir cooed, tilting his head to the side as he spoke, his tone growing increasingly eerie. ”That is when we are most alive, would you not agree?” The question was directed towards his companions and not his victim but his gaze never shifted from the man in his hold until he near effortlessly cast him aside. The man’s body would shatter through the draped window along the side of the room before falling to the ground, leaving the three men that Tiamat had brought to their ass with the bodies of their dead allies all that stood between them and the scientist they had come here to claim.

The scientist had been hidden for the short time the three Sith had been inside the office but by now, all three had located the Arkanian behind the desk. Bir reached his free hand out, coiling the Force around his frame and pulling him free of his concealment. As he arrived before the Kel Dor, he would wrap his arm around the Arkanian’s torso and shift him away from the pirates and back towards the door they had entered, bringing his saber upward to deflect any sort of retrieval attempt.

”We’ve got your pretty little physicist, Lady,” Bir stated with glee as he deflected a blaster bolt towards one of the remaining pirates, burning a hole in his chest. ”Perhaps it is time we departed?”

The pirates inside are all dead. Good, that was fun. Nothing like the smell of dead meatbags after a good day's fight. They also have the VIP, and Pedee's motion sensors were detecting more of them, she would pick up the lightsaber she threw earlier and stowed it away on her chassis.

"Lets leave." She suggested "We can take them, but it's safer for this weak organic for us to take the scenic route" The scientist was who she was talking about. They are all trained killers, but one stray blaster shot or mistake and the VIP might die or get badly hurt.

With that suggestion, Pedee would take her empty phrik-laden fist and throw a big punch through the walls that would break a hole through the wall no problem. She would then swing her fist a couple more times to make sure it's big enough. Through the hole, there would be a building in front of them. And between them would be an alley they could drop through. The force users could use their thing to slow their fall and Pedee can just drop down on the ground without worry.

Pedee would then shoot some blaster shots towards incoming enemies at the same time Bir is fending off blaster bolts.

Meanwhile, while pirate goons are trying to retrieve the VIP, the codru-ji pirate lord is also making his way, heavily armed and armored, holding a blaster pistol in each of his four hands. He is steamed and means business. He would also have his own trusted lieutenants with him who are also looking to put down the intruders.

It would be wise for the acolyte to go first since he has the VIP, and then the rest can follow, or kill the pirates. Whichever works as long as the mission is complete.

She grasped the three remaining thugs by the throat with the Force, holding tightly as they gurgled and gasped for a breath. She heard Bir announce that he had found the scientist who seemed to be very shaken, but was still alive and functioning. Pedee also suggested it was time for them to leave, and Tiamat wondered if she was picking something up on her sensors; the Force only told her so much and Tiamat nodded to Pedee's suggestion. The woman reached into a pouch on her belt and activated a tracking beacon, handing it to Bir. "Get him back to the ship unharmed, we will make sure no one follows." she ordered the acolyte.

Pedee walked past the two Sith and focused her attention on the wall, creating a new exit for the group to take their leave. Tiamat approached to take a look up and down the ally to ensure it was clear before turning to look at Bir, "You're good, move." she said as the thugs who had turned grotesque in their struggle to breathe, collapsed in unison onto the floor. Once Bir was ushered through the opening, the was a holler from the remaining pirates group as they realized their cargo had been disrupted. The floor shook with the sheer mass and might of the pirate captain, blasters aimed and firing indiscriminately as he entered the room to Tiamat and Pedee taking their leave.

With the Arkanian secure in his grasp, Bir would comply with Pedee’s suggestion-turned-command from Lady Tiamat as he accepted the tracker she offered him. They had accomplished what they had come to do and with the Pirate Leader closing in, it was in their best interest to get the ‘package’ to safety. Still, the Kel Dor couldn’t deny a growing sensation of disappointment. The stunted excuses of thugs they had encountered here were hardly a challenge for the trio of executioners and the leader stood the best chance to provide some difficulty. Of course, as foolish as he was, Bir was wise enough to follow an order from a Sith Lord. He would have to find his entertainment elsewhere…

Pushing the scientist to the crumbling wall escape route, courtesy of their dear killbot, both Bir and the Arkanian would look to the alley below, a solid thirty foot drop to the duracrete below.

”You heard the Lady, yes, yes, yes! You heard her, you certainly did!” Bir urged, placing his mechanical hand on the man’s shoulder in time to receive a bewildered and pompous glare.

“I beg your pardon?”
the Arkanian replied with a defiant tone, looking between both the Kel Dor and the long fall that awaited them both. “You’re mad if you think-!” Bir, his ever present grin plastered across his face, tilted his head to the left accompanied with a loud chuckle.

”How kind of you to notice!” he interrupted before pushing the scientist through the opening, his screams of panic echoing between the two buildings. Bir waited until the last moment before he shot his left hand forward to coil the Force around the falling man, suspending him a mere two feet from the solid ground below. Rotating his head from above his left shoulder to look behind him, albeit upside down, Bir simply smiled at both Lady Tiamat and Pedee with a clear pride from further tormenting their prize. He would soon follow suit, stepping forward and falling to the ground himself where he would recover the hyperventilating Arkanian.

That scientist meatbag is squeamish and annoying. The sooner he gets to safety the sooner his trap can be shut. Too bad the man didn't have tape or a gag on his mouth to keep him from talking. Oh well. With that, Pedee, would drop down on the ground as they are making their exit, she would miss the flurry of shots from the pirate goons and the Pirate Lord's four pistols. She couldn't slow her fall, she made a hard landing on her feet but it's all good as she doesn't feel pain as beings of flesh and blood do.

The Codru-ji would then attempt to look out the exit and begin laying down fire upon anyone in his cone of vision, but Pedee had a pistol in hand, a heavy one at that and begin to shoot him before he could do so. Even the codru-ji didn't want to take direct heavy shots, so he wisely backed away. With this, the others can get away while the pirates are in a bad spot to chase them down. Pedee would begin taking off in the direction of the ship after. It will be harder for the pirates to hunt for them n ow

Bir seemed to have his own fun with the scientist and Tiamat did not mind either way as long as he wasn't hurt in the end. Besides a little bit of trauma made one work harder to avoid thinking of it. She followed after Bir and then Pedee, the blaster bolts hitting the building across from them until the Codru-ji was able to wedge himself through the window opening. However, he seemed not to expect the droid to return fire and quickly retreated.

Tiamat nodded in approval and quickly caught up with Bir to ensure he didn't continue to traumatize the scientist. The redhead grabbed a handful of the Arkanian's shirt pulling him close to her; he seemed to protest but stopped when he Tiamat gave him a glare. "Right...right...I-"

"Enough, I am your new employer, and I have a project that will be worth your while."
