Taruna sat down, once again, and stared at the small place in the floor that showed the results of her pacing in the floor. It was very subtle and you had to know it was there to see it and be annoyed by it. Unfortunately Taruna knew..

Then, she looked around in the room within the Rendili Hyperworks BT-7 Thunderclap briefing room, that was used to be holding briefings for other remains of the remaining New Jedi Order. The ship was currently under a camouflage net near the camp somewhere in a thick wood on Mimban and the heavy thunderstorm outside did not much to brighten her mood.

Rendili_Hyperworks_BT-7_Thunderclap_briefing_room_zpsmtewjif0.jpg

Taruna needed a certain Holocron, and was quite sure she would not find it on her own, especially since it was suspected to be in Sith space..

So she asked for reinforcements, and had placed a coded message to the NewsNet, only readable by friendlies. Whoever would volunteer was expected to be here in five minutes. Taruna was here since an hour. Or three.

Triton was walking into the ship, with his small SHADE droid, floating next to him, with his staff in his right hand and white robes he could be mistaken for a priest, but his 6ft, 185lbs body, and the fact that the white robes were barely holding his large frame. Triton was annoyed since his small SHADE droid had been complaining so much and Triton had tried and failed multiply times to smack the droid away. But now he was here he couldn't hide his excitement in finally meeting a jedi, he had seen sith but the never a Jedi it felt like a dream come true for the member of the Matukai order.

Upon entering the ship he saw his first jedi, her blue skin with black strips was interesting to the young man, but during his travels he has met several Chiss before yet he found this one to be beautiful, though he was to shy and discipline to say anything. Triton combed his dark brown hair a little bit but it didn't change much.

"H-hello there jedi, my name is Triton Octave a member of the Matuaki order, may I have the honor of knowing your name." Triton gave a formal bow to the Jedi showing his respect for the Jedi.

Nol sauntered in, examining his surroundings. He had needed to craft a lightsaber, and supposedly this Holocron would help teach him how to make his. He felt eager to go on this expedition, as he already knew how to fight with a saber, but not having his own made things difficult. So he had volunteered to go with them, to search for this artifact. At the very least, he'd get experience and maybe learn other things along the way.

Kannick Stargrave was silent, for a change. He was a little unco, for table in the present situation. He was surrounded by fellow Force users dedicated to doing something good. He had been one of those once. He was once a Jedi Padawan, but a series of unfortunate happenings ended his relationship with the Order. He was in the briefing room now, keeping to himself, only speaking when spoken to. His job was to get the others into Sith space to get a holocron of some sort. It would be relatively easy for Kannick. He was the best slicer he knew, maybe only beaten by Jechtral, but only by experience. With his datapad and port devices in his backpack slung over his shoulders, the only gear he showed for the others to see were his blaster- which he never used -and his Lightsaber, which he had never gotten rid of due to his proficiency with the weapon. He nodded to each of the others, kind of saying 'Hello' while at the same time saying 'K don't want to talk right now'.

Taruna greeted the first incoming person, a human male with a quite distinguishing scar below his eye with a friendly smile and tried her best to imitate the bow "Greetings, mister Octave of the Matukai, my name is Taruna Eskarian, Padawan of the new Jedi Order. I'm honored by your presence and hope we will be able to fulfill this little excursion to our all satisfaction"

After greeting the Matukai, she turned to the next person walking in, a Kel Dor wearing traditional Jedi attire, as so many did since the Leader of the New Jedi Order brought the Order to his new course. Taruna herself was wearing her normal dress right now, since appearing in her finer dress would have been too informal and the armor way too formal. What she saw on first glance was the lack of a Lightsaber, which pretty much explained his presence immediately. Also greeting him with a formal bow casual among fellow Padawan and then gesturing at the chairs standing around inti invitingly before nodding at the curiously silent pilot before moving to the screen at the end of the room, clearly indicating that she was about to explain what she planned

"Once again thank you all for coming, i really appreciate your willingness to join me in this."

The screen awoke to life and for now showed the rotating logo of the New Jedi Order while the other lights get dimmed a little to bring more attention to the screen

"My name, to repeat myself is Taruna, and I intend, as some of you are aware, to head out to find a very specific Holocron, which is said to contain the knowledge to create a very specific kind of Lightsaber, that is a little outside the norm and thus not in the normal archives of the Order."

The screen now awoke to life and showed a three-dimensional map of the universe, over witch a overlay in red indicated the Imperial influence, then a few yellow dots popped up to show some of the former outposts, which began to blink and change their colors to red. Taruna proceeded

"One of them was at one of the outposts and due to the nature of it it was not possible to be considered during the evacuations. It most probably will be sent to Coruscant soon, and since I really do not feel like taking on the stronghold of the empire for this holocron, I intend to get to the transport before it arrives there. The transport, tho.."

She pointed at the map, where a dotted line crawled to the core world of the empire slowly and was quite close to the Border now. There, it zoomed in to show a red outlined space station

"Should be about here now, refueling and changing crew"

Taruna paused to look at the men in the room

"So... That's the plan.. We get this transport back"

Triton stood during the briefing from the Jedi Taruna, she was a good first jedi for Triton to meet she seemed smart and he was impressed she would be a good leader. His knowledge of boarding ships comes from his time when he was with the pirate captain, and wasn't sure how they would do it in this small ship.

"Jedi Taruna, are we going to intercept the imperials while they are refueling and changing crew? If so we should be going before its to late, I fear this ship wouldn't be good at boarding an enemy ship in space." Triton blushed a little since he looked up to the jedi he hoped his question was a good one, he looked towards Taruna wondering how she would answer his question.

Nol remained silent, but did return Taruna's bow with his own. He thought the plan was as good as any, granted it worked. A simple interception while they were distracted refueling- easy enough. He'd have to figure out something for him to do though, as he figured he figured his claws wouldn't do much good against imperial troops. He did know a thing or two about brawling though, so if he did get close enough he'd give 'em hell. Leaving his thoughts, he was intrigued by Triton's question. He thought it'd be best to get them while they were docked, and would support Triton's position if there was a debate/poll as to what they should do.

Kannick figured it was sound enough. In fact, he had just done something similar in Hutt space, only that time he was stealing back an entire ship. How hard could it be to get a little old holocron while they were busy refueling. He was working on his Force Cloak, which should come in handy, but no one here knew exactly who he was or how strong he was in the Force. He would like to keep it that way. If it weren't for the Lightsaber at his hip, some would guess he couldn't use the Force at all. But he was here to contribute, so when the padawan was done talking about her plan, he finally voiced his thoughts "Um, hi, first off. Guess I have to say hi eventually, right? Well the only problem I see with this plan is this transport you mentioned. Do we get specifics as to how many crew? How big is the freighter? How long does it take to refuel? Obviously there are several ways we can go about this, and I'd prefer this stay completely unnoticed. Don't know about you guys he said motioning to Triton and Nol but I'm gonna need a little more information." Information. Just about as important to Kannick as was oxygen and food.

Taruna nodded, this went way better than expected. At least none of them started to laugh in her face or left with a shaking of his head.

"I actually do not intend to intercept it before it reaches the station, I attempt to board it when it's about to leave"

Before she could lose the control of the situation, she quickly elaborated on her plan "I plan to smuggle us in as the guard relieve, for that we would have to get there, slice their systems to inject us as intended guards and take over the ship when it is docked off and too far from the station to call for reinforcements in time before we get control of the transport. We would face only four guards since we'd replace the other four. Adding to that two pilots, we should be able to pull this off. The only critical parts are the slicing and the battle for the control of the ship. A Ship and disguise is already there." She then ended with "I promise to do my best to compensate each of you to my best ability"

Triton felt this mission would go well, and the plan sounded like it would work. Happy to finally say he worked along side Jedi, but when Jedi Taruna mentioned compensating them, he has no interests in credits so he planned on tell her that.

"Jedi Taruna, there is no need to compensate me, fighting against the Imperium is what I have trained to do and continue to do, thank you but please keep whatever you planned to gift me. I don't find value in material things or credits." Triton hoped he didn't offend Jedi Taruna, but he didn't want anything since his order lives nomad lives and in their culture they don't care about material objects or the credits used to purchase them.

Triton than turned to the two man that he doesn't know hoping to get to learn more about them, the one wearing what Triton felt were Jedi robes made Triton felt like he was honorable and a real Jedi but, no matter how much Triton tried he couldn't find the Kel Dor's lightsaber. An the other man, with the backpack and a lightsaber on his belt looked like he was a warrior, but Triton thought he felt something wrong with how the man breathed. Deciding the best way to introduce himself was to do what he did with Jedi Taruna he planned to do just that.

"Hello their friends, my name is Triton Octave a member of the order of Matukai, it is a pleasure to meet members of the Jedi order like yourself. I look forward to working with you and if I may, can I know the name of my comrades." Triton said giving a formal bow than a genuine smile something that came easy for Triton being next to his heroes right now.

Kannick nodded as he listened to the Chiss jedi's plan. It seemed simple enough, and she seemed to have all her bases covered, but Kannick had long since lost the hope of getting everything right on the first try. It just didn't work out that way. But there was no reason to waste time. He spoke once she finished "I guess I'm here to set us up as the intended guards? Shouldn't be too hard. Not for me anyways. I'll have the false ID Docs before we get there and I'll slice their systems like a piece of sweet cake. I'd usually charge for such a job, but if we're doing the right thing here and we're all being selfless do goodies, I probably won't charge." He gave a smile as he ended. In reality, he'd never charge a jedi for anything. But he still kept up his neutral facade. He was still skid dish around jedi and rarely got involved with them after Ruusan.

Kannick turned to Triton, who called himself a Matukai. He had heard of them, but only once. He had picked up some chatter about a pirate gang losing to a group of them on Karvoss. They must be decent enough fighters. In response to Triton's question he said "My name is Niklaus Hunter. Pleasure to meet you Triton." Niklaus Huter was his frequently used alias, never giving his real name to people unless they were a part of DarkNet, his slicer faction. It was also the name he had signed up for the mission under. He covered his tracks well, so there would be no suspicion as to his identity. Turning back to Taruna, he said "So if they're on the move, shouldn't we be moving too? We've got a ship to catch."

((OOC: Sorry guys, was in the ER, still kinda bad, activity at be spotty))

Bol remained quiet, yet compliant. He nodded his head every now and again, listening but not participating. He had no idea was to what he was doing, so any suggestions he might make make could prove disastrous. So he stayed silent. He had responded to Triton's question, "Nol. Nol Haal.", and that was the only time he spoke. He waited for the others to come to a decision, and more specifically, what they wanted him to do. He was limited, but was sure he'd find a way to prove himself to the others.

"Okay, since the question of compensating is cleared," which most probably will be renegotiated depending on how well it goes, she added in her mind "I have a freshly stolen Imperial shuttle waiting not far from here, and the biggest problem will be to determine if the transponder signal of this thing is still valid or not. I am afraid I am not good enough to fiddle with it, but it sure looks the part." she pointed at the exit, as it seemed everyone was eager to start right away, something Taruna found most respectable, especially since some of them were not even Jedi

"Also, if you feel like you need more than the equipment you have with you, take a look around the camp, I am sure you can lend yourself anything you feel you need for the mission, but please remember to return them afterwards, they are still needed for the fight against the Imperium" and since she just remembered, she added "Imperial dresses and armors are still on the ship."

Triton wasn't sure about dressing up like a imperial, he honestly rather go an just fight the imperials but he would trust the greater wisdom of the Jedi. They were his heroes so he would do what they do. He looked at Nol checking him out noticing the sharp claws but noticed the lack of the Jedis most famous weapon the lightsaber, understanding that means Nol was new and didn't have much experience. Triton was loyal to a fault and felt he needed to help the new Jedi so one day he can live up to the legend.

The other man Niklaus was weird, he was more confident but Triton felt weird about him. He didn't believe the man's name was actually Niklaus the way his body seemed told Triton that much. But Triton didn't care and decided he was in it no matter what.

"Though I am against sneaking around, but I will go with your plan. Well it's best to start now, Nol, Nakliaus we should get on our outfits on. I feel a imperial armor would be best for me." Triton said ready to get going.

Kannick listened, though he doubted he needed anything. Kannick was a man of many faces, and his datapad had seven on file. There was his true identity Kannick Stargrave, but only he could access that portion. There was Niklaus Hunter, his main alias which he kept partially blocked so if someone became suspicious they could find it. There was his Cartel alias Wilkes Dyson, which he used on occassion, his Imperial alias, the one he'd be using today, Bo Hannon. There was a backup alias he had never used before, just in case he needed to go into hiding, there was an extra Imperial alias if Bo Hannon was ever found out, and there was a Rebel alias in the works, but he doubted he'd ever need it.

"Don't worry, I came prepared. I won't need to deplete any resources. Got my datapad, port jacks, lightsaber, pistol and candy bars. I'm all set." Just to show he wasn't kidding he took out a candy bar, chocolate and unwrapped it and ate it while the others grabbed what they needed. He hadn't interacted with a Matukai before, but he knew they were a group of Force Users. Turning to Triton once he was done with his candy bar he said "No offense, but if you're one of those overly wise 'The Force is everything' type monks, we're not gonna get along so well. But if you know how to have fun, we'll be best buddies. Just don't go thinking you're immortal now, k?"

[OOC: Important: Venk is not excluded, but excused for longer absence]

With a satisfied nod, Taruna pointed at the exit "The shuttle's waiting if you turn right at the end of the ramp of this ship and as I see, we all are ready to go" she herself was at least, so she moved immediately. "I also prepared some PADS with the essential informations you need to pass as a member of the Imperium for this time, and I suggest we all study them intensely on the way. Getting caught because we did not know who to salute would be an embarrassing end for this trip, I think"

Looking at Kannick, and smiling Triton never thought himself a monk, or wise, but being called both even as a joke made him smile. But he wasn't sure if the man was making fun of his order or not, and decided to show him that he isn't a monk using the force to speed up his arm, Triton grabbed the bar from Kannick's hand and took a bite out of it, the speed would make it seem like blur. Triton was hoping to show that Matukai aren't monks but warriors of the lightside, they trained in using the force to augment their body and Triton had been training to be a Matukai since his birth.

"I am no monk, but a warrior for the light." Triton took another bite out of the bar enjoying the taste having had anything like it in the past.

"Friend Taruna, if we do end up fighting don't worry. Matukai are masters of close combat, and would hold the Imperium back while the rest of you escape. I am not afraid of death." Triton knows death, having lost his mother to sith, Triton was aware he could die at any moment and would face death with honor and dignity.

Kannick watched as the man laughed and showed off his skills by snatching the bar and eating it. Kannick didn't mind, he always had about twenty chocolate bars in his pack, along with sour candies and gummies. He didn't really care about the sugar intake, he liked candy and running for your life kept you fit, so he saw no harm in it. He mentioned the light, which Kannick hardly thought it was neccessary to mention. If he sued the dark they'd all be attacking him at this point. He was going to leave when Triton went and played the hero card, as Kannick liked to call it. He looked back at Triton, making a U-turn and heading straight for him.

He didn't want to make a scene, so he kept his tone casual and low so it was just between Triton and himself, he said "Alright look, this isn't an insult Triton, but I don't care who you are. You will fear death. It's how the living continue that way. Those who don't fear death end up dead themselves. Don't try and be the hero. I heard you took out some pirates. Good job, but the Imperials are nowhere near the level of some amateur pirates. But hey, we're all friends here, no need to die, right?"

Taruna had taken some steps until she realized the two have stopped and barely suppressed a sigh. This was some male bonding ritual, each of them had to show who's better. So she turned around and stopped, letting them both figure out the alpha wolf amongst them without interrupting. As long as they did not start to shoot each other or beat each other with a lightsaber, things would turn out fine, she hoped. But clearing the lines the two had to do at any rate.

Triton was beginning to have a problem with Kannick, though Triton would try his best but the comment about how the pirates were amateurs since Triton lost a brother to them bothered him, deciding he needed to stand for himself and his order Triton took a step forward. Though they were of the same height Triton was much thicker and stronger than Kannick, and knew at this close distance that he could take down the Jedi. But he wasn't here to fight his heroes but rather help protect them, his face showed his barely contain anger, hoping to just scary the Jedi.

"I know about death, I have seen it more than most my friend. An speak lightly when you speak about that event with me, I lost a brother to those pirates that were trying to enslave the entire planet. Only cowards would fear something that is natural, if you fear death than go, we will be staring death in the face on this mission. I don't plan on dying but if I do I would have no regrets, besides my friend we all need to die when its our time, the trick is to face it with dignity." Triton said hoping to show Kannick what can of man he was, though he didn't think of himself as a hero but rather a person trying to do good things because it was his duty to the light and his family, he had progressively became less anger realizing his anger wouldn't help him.

Triton walked away to the room that held the armor stripping off his robes until he was just in his fundoshi, a piece of cloth that covered his privates, it allowed him to move freely and once he was in the imperial armor he walked back into the ship wearing a helmet and though he kept his white robes and staff with him and putting them down on one of the chairs in the ship. Grabbing a pistol and a rifle since that was what most imperial guards carry he hoped he looked the part.
