"This will be a BLAST!" Taruna exclaimed wit a wide grin and tossed both arms up.

She was standing in the so proclaimed lounge of her ship and just finished her little story of how she found out about a suspected rich trader who was forced to flee the former republican core area but vanished while he attempted to flee. Together with a shipment filled to the brink with crystals, some of them of the very rare sort.

To her audience belonged Nol, a Jedi she just recently met but also wanted to produce a own Lightsaber, Triton who happened to be conveniently in grab range and her little treasure Aeryun.

All she could hope now was that she could convince them to risk the trip that could very well lead them into Imperial Space...

Triton laughed a little at Taruna's excitement but he did a good job at hiding it, though Triton knew Nol Haal yet he hasn't met the young jedi Aeryun, he could tell she was blind. His increases senses thanks to the force allowed him to notice how her eyes didn't move much and he hoped the young jedi was alright but he knew jedi are powerful warriors and was confident the young jedi could handle herself

Triton's small floating SHADE droid came around after Triton tried to smack it away but it was good at not getting hit. Triton realized he couldn't get rid of the thing and just allowed the droid to annoy him with whatever he was trying to say, maybe it didn't have to say anything just wanted to annoy him. Triton wanted to know why Taruna had ask they all came here but he didn't want to be rude about it. His heroes the jedi were all around him and he felt honored just being here with them. Smiling as big as possible he tried his best not to look crazy an tried talking with Taruna.

"So Taruna I don't want to be rude, but is their a reason you called for us?" Triton asked blushing a little, doing his best to look Taruna in the eye.

Nol had been sitting in the lounge, examining whatever odds and ends he could find in it. Being here, aboard this ship, was one of his dreams come true. He was finally considered as an actual part of the New Jedi Order!..unfortunately, he was useless. Hardly trained in the force and a great duelist without a weapon to duel with, Nol was left his claws and his wits. With his saber built, he'd be able to accomplish things, and he'd be able to focus on his training in the force instead of lightsaber combat, seeing as he already knew how, he just didn't have the tools to do so.

Nol watched as the newcomer awkwardly talked to Taruna. Nol rolled his eyes and went back to examining the lounge. He just didn't understand these people's infatuation with each other. The big man was either in love with Taruna, or just incredibly shy, but Nol was sure it was the former. He had seen those looks countless times at the bar he worked at; lots of smiling, blushing, and trying to keep up eye contact.
"As long as it doesn't interfere with the mission..." Nol mumbled to himself. Warriors were no good in combat if they'd be focused on their love interests all the time.

"This will be a BLAST!" Taruna exclaimed wit a wide grin and tossed both arms up.

Sitting to the left of the very excited Chiss Jedi was little Aeryun Toph. She had a small smile on her face, but it was mostly to cover up the fact she was incredibly nervous. Aeryun was glad that she got to go on another mission with her first and truly best friend, but she was hesitant about meeting new people. Aeryun had a lot going for her when it came to looks. She had dark skin and brown curly hair. She was also quite short, but made up for it in spirit. Aeryun Toph was born on Norri, and her slitted eyes had once been a gorgeous shade of green. They had long since lost their light from an explosion which had blinded her.

Aeryun was wearing a green flight suit that had a grey stripe down the front and matching shoulder and shin pads. Around her waist was a basic utility belt which held a silver lightsaber. When ignited, it would produce a dark green beam of light.

OQg0NnC.jpg

Aeryun had met Taruna by a chance meeting in a space station. She had been stranded in space and was rescued by another Jedi. Together they ran into Aeryun who was alone and abandoned. The two quickly made friends and Taruna taught Aeryun the Jedi Code, which was everything to the Jedi. It was what separated them from the Sith. As their travels continued, Taruna would continue to teach young Aeryun and their friendship built into something powerful. Aeryun looked up to Taruna, much like an older sister. She never got angry with her, even when their training got difficult. Taruna was there for her when Aeryun's heart was broken, and Aeryun would be there in return if she would ever need her to be. She's also bring her lightsaber and have some aggressive negotiations with said heartbreaker.

When Taruna got all excited and such, Aeryun smiled and tried her best to be excited as well. She was looking forward to making her own saber. The one currently in her possession was given to her by Jedi Master Mary Kay. She knew it inside and out and would often take it apart to see how fast she could put it back together. Aeryun was confident she could build herself a new saber with no problem. As much as she liked having Mary Kay's saber with her, she felt it was time to make herself one she could call hers.

On the other side of the table was Jedi Padawan Triton Octave. He was busy fiddling with a little droid that hovered around. Aeryun hated droids, especially ones that flew. They made almost no sound except for a slight purring sound as they floated around. She could never pinpoint the exact location of the little robot, and that frustrated her. On a more personal note, she hated droids because they had no emotion. A droid was programmed to respond and act like it was ordered to. It could not think for itself or add that level of connection when talking to someone alive.

With Aeryun's blindness, she relied heavily on people's tone of voice to determine their reliability. Someone who lied a lot would have certain mannerisms that one could pick up if they were smart. Aeryun wouldn't be able to pick those up by sight. So, she relied on speech. This is where her and droids failed to get along.

Triton, now trying his best to ignore the droid floating around his skull asked, "So Taruna I don't want to be rude, but is their a reason you called for us?"

Aeryun wasn't sure how she felt about Triton. She didn't know what he looked like how he kept up with himself. He appeared to be quick to the draw and straight forward. She liked this about him. But, it was usually a sign that someone didn't think things through. So at this point, she'd save her judgement.

The other man in the room was Padawan Nol Haal. The entirety of Taruna's speech he had stood in the back and kept to himself. He didn't say anything nor did he make any movement. She thought she heard him mumble something to himself, but she didn't catch what it was. If she had been sketchy about Triton, she was even sketchier about Nol.

Tarunas arms found their way down to the hips again and she eyed Triton "Yeah, well.. As I said, the trader disappeared somewhere between Coruscant and the outer rim." but then she grinned a little "Lucky me, I by chance I found a old sensor log showing the ship somewhere near Ruusan, so I intend to track the ship's movement from this last known location and if we're lucky, we find the ship in a good state and with the shipment intact. In this case I hope we can negotiate for some of the crystals, since I for my part indeed need a very special pair, and as I heard the trader had some rarities there, there as well could be some crystals originating from planets no longer existing today"

Triton nodded understanding now why she wanted to do it he only hoped that everything went smoothly, most of the times he goes on these kind of quests doesn't end well. Looking at the young Jedi hoping that he can introduce himself to her since they will be going on a quest soon and he knew that people needed to know each other before trusting them. Standing up Triton smoothen his white robes, which were tight on his large frame, being 6 feet and 185 lbs has its draw backs, grabbing his black staff in his right hand he planned on introducing himself to the one person he didn't know.

"Hello, young jedi this is the first time we have met, since you might not know me, my name is Triton Octave, a member of the Matukai order." Facing Aeryun he gave her a formal bow he hoped the young Jedi has heard of it but he had a feeling she would be clueless about his order, which he wouldn't blame her for they are small and not a big order like the Jedi.

"Alright Taruna, my friend when do we leave for this quest." Triton asked very seriously, ready for action and to give his live for the Jedi around him as he felt their lives were more important for the galaxy than his, as he saw himself only a tool for the lightside of the force, and he saw the Jedi as the champions of it.

Nol, deciding it best to leave Triton and Taruna to their conversation, turned and walked towards Aeryun. Maybe we can talk about what it means to be a jedi, or building lightsabers, or something. he thought to himself, calmly approaching Aeryun. When he got close enough, he waved to her, and said "Hey. I'm Nol, Nol Haal. I joined the Order pretty recently, and I don't know a lot of people. Might I get your name?" in a friendly manner. She would pick up hints of shyness, but primarily eagerness and anticipation.

Aeryun listened to Taruna explain the mission as if it were going to be an easy thing. Life had a way of disappointing and stopping people and their plans. She hoped the three Jedi in the room and whatever the other person was, the Matukai Order; she'd never heard of it, could handle it. She really hoped they pulled this mission off because Aeryun was real excited about making a new saber. Not that there was anything wrong with her current one, of course.

When Triton stood up and introduced himself, Aeryun was quiet for a moment. She expected the other members to say their names, but no one did. "Oh," it occured to her. "He's talking to me."

With a slight blush from embarrassment Areryun raised her hand and quietly said her name, "Aeryun. Aeryun Toph." She was still really shy around these two men.

She then expected the other guy to say his name, and she heard him moving closer to them. "Oh good. He's finally going to say something." He then introduced himself as Nol Haal. As he spoke, Aeryun would tilt her head in confusion; his voice sounded strange to her. It was times like these she wished she could see people. It wasn't like she was racist or anything, but she was terribly embarrassed when, after several months of knowing her, she had learned Taruna was a Chiss and had blue skin and red eyes.

"Aeryun Toph," she said a little louder now that she'd spoken once already and was gaining some headway in her courage. "Nice to um...meet you?"

Taruna forced herself to calm down, since she was eager to start right now. But getting acquainted with each other was very important right now, since they all would have to at least know who they were working with.

It would be difficult enough to explain to them that this trip would once again lead them into Sith space, since Ruusan was one of the planets close to the edge of the imperium. In imperial territory, to boot.

When Triton addressed her, she looked up from the floor, without having realized she lowered her eyes that much by being in thoughts. At least she was not the only one suffering from impatience, and thus she answered with a calm "Whenever everyone is done preparing. I may add that Ruusan is inside the Imperial territory, thus we need to be extremely cautious" she took a deep breath. This revelation could very well be the last too, since she was not sure how content any of the others where to intrude into enemy territory, and each of them now had the option to raise their hands and opt out of this.

Triton was surprised or worried by the fact they would be going back into Imperial territory, and was actually glad for another adventure like the one before, but he notice Taruna's tension he was glad that he wasn't the only one eager for the adventure.

"My friend, please going back into Imperial territory would not stop me even if we were heading to the Sith's capital, if I may allow me to enter the ship first, though I can't sense through the force like you but my other senses are sharper an if their is anything that would cause us harm I should be able to detect it quicker." Triton wasn't bragging his training with the force was purely on making his body stronger, faster and also making the senses sharper.

He hoped Taruna didn't take it the wrong way, he had a lot of respect for her and wanted to be able to help out since everyone here were jedi and they could do many things that he couldn't and many things he could do, which made Triton feel like a weak link in the group. When Triton spoke he looked into Taruna's eye's than he looked at Aeryun, than back to Taruna's eyes.

"Do you know Aeryun? She seems a bit shy for a Jedi." Triton said in a normal voice not wishing to be like a he meant that in a rude way, and since he isn't good with talking, and he doesn't do being sneak that's just a big no in Tritons book.

((OOC: Sorry guys, was in the ER. That probably doesn't mean much to you but it's all I can give to you as an explanation.))
"Nice meeting you too. Have you been with the NJO long? Anything important I should know about anyone?" Nol was becoming more relaxed, and was genuinely curious. Maybe he could establish some friendships, get a master- but that was all for the future. For now, he was content with just being here on the mission, having an adventure.

Aeryun was not worried when Taruna said where they were going because honestly she had no idea where in the universe that was. Obviously by the tone of her voice and the shift in the air she could tell it was bad. But weren't Jedi supposed to be fearless? She could not let herself get scared at a time like this.

As Triton spoke she was glad to hear he was just as excited as Taruna had been. Plus, he volunteered to go in first, so that would save them from debating over it later. Aeryun was not a strong fighter, but she was good with her blade when it came to defense. She much preferred to stay behind and guard her friends while they did the fighting.

She was then distracted by Nol continuing to talk to her by saying, "Nice meeting you too. Have you been with the NJO long? Anything important I should know about anyone?"

"The N-J-O?" she repeated back to him with confusion. "I.. don't..."

She then heard Triton mention her name as he said to Taruna, "Do you know Aeryun? She seems a bit shy for a Jedi."

"I what?" she repeated and turned to face him. "I'm not shy!" She began to blush and felt everyone's eyes on her. "I'm not!" she said with the most adorable pout.

Taruna was about to agree to Tritons proposal, knowing he would be capable to watch out for himself and already nodded, but before she could talk Aeryun bursted out in her non-syhness statement and of course also got Taruna's attention. She smiled at first but then grinned broadly at the puffed cheeks, needing all her willpower not to jump over to her and either hug her or pinch those adorable cheeks a little. Or maybe do both at once. Nevertheless, this was something the guys now had to cope with so she crossed her arms before her, shifted her weight to the right leg and looked at the guys with a tremendously amused look that said 'Deal with that, big boys'

Triton was actually surprised when the small jedi named Aeryun spoke he didn't mean to be rude he just wasn't good at speaking but now realizing his mistakes he will attempt to make up for it.

"I apologize Jedi Aeryun, I misjudge you." Triton said giving the small Jedi a formal bow, his voice serious and Aeryun could tell through the force he meant what he said.

"I do believe though that I should take point Taruna, I wouldn't want anyone of you getting hurt. The Galaxy needs the Jedi more than ever." Triton said again looking at Taruna but now also looking to the rest of the Jedi hoping they would agree with him, saying Taruna's name because she was the one who got them together.

Aeryun would listen to Triton speak and she would shrug. "If he wants to take the lead then I don't mind. I'd rather stay behind and guard you guys. It's easier for me to be on the defensive anyway. I'm...not all that good with my saber." Aeryun was being extremely modest. With her training back on Indupar, she and a fellow Padawan had practiced long hours into the day honing her skills. Aeryun was a fine swordsman.

"It's settled then," Taruna spoke up then and pointed in a overly dramatic pose toward the Cockpit "Onwards to our adventure then, may we return with riches, scars and our personal harems"

But then she chuckled "I always wanted to say that" and took the lead on her way to the cockpit "I already set the autopilot to the last known destination according to the logs I found. With some luck, we will be able to find out what happened to the ship" she half turned around to the others "If you think you need anything equipment-wise, let me know now, or else we will be out of the range of a place to get anything"

Had Aeryun been drinking anything, she was sure to have spit it out as Taruna mentioned harems. She began to blush ever further and would look around hoping no one was staring at her.

"Taruna!" she wanted to chastise, but she said nothing.

"I always wanted to say that...I already set the autopilot to the last known destination according to the logs I found. With some luck, we will be able to find out what happened to the ship...If you think you need anything equipment-wise, let me know now, or else we will be out of the range of a place to get anything"

Aeryun would shake her head, not needing anything. Everything she owned was right there in her lap: her lightsaber. That was all a Jedi needed anyway. She watched/listened for Taruna as she made her way out of the room so she was left with the two others. She clicked her tongue and waited for one of them to say something.

Triton listen to Taruna's little speech and was shocked to hear what the Jedi had said. His image of Noble Jedi warriors starting to seem like a dream, but seeing as they are all happy yet still young in this age, make Triton feel happy also.

"I have all that I would need, Taruna. Let's us go waiting around won't get us anywhere." Triton would stay behind when Taruna went up to the cockpit.

Triton turned towards Aeryun, curious about the young Jedi and how she got into the order. Though Triton didn't think she was weak he was curious as to what she could do.

"Aeryun, if I may, how long have you been with the order? I am curious about you, I know the rest of the group but you are a mystery to me." Triton didn't want to come off as rude but Aeryun was the only one he didn't know about and was straightforward about it.

Despite her expectations, no one followed her on the way to the cockpit, but that was okay. They probably would have to talk a little with each other, and she knew Aeryun all of them well enough to know they would behave.

So she concentrated on starting the engines, triple-check the route and accelerate the ship into Hyperspace. It would need a little while to arrive, and there would someone had to stay there, checking for any emergencies.

[Taruna will be skipped unless called, visited at the cockpit or 2 hours ingame-time have passed]

"I have all that I would need, Taruna. Let's us go waiting around won't get us anywhere."

Aeryun heard her friend leave and was about to get up as well when Triton turned his attention to her.

"Aeryun, if I may, how long have you been with the order? I am curious about you, I know the rest of the group but you are a mystery to me."

Aeryun would stir in her chair and sigh ever so slightly. She didn't like talking about herself because she truly lacked confidence in her abilities. "I guess it's only been a few months. I haven't really been keeping a record. Honestly I wouldn't even say I ever joined the order at all. I never met any of them. I was lucky to find Taruna way back when everything was going down. If not for her, I very well could have joined the Sith. It was just the will of the Force I guess."
