Like how we need to improve our responding to PMs, we also need to improve general communication, particularly amongst ourselves. Don't mean to call anyone out and make them feel bad, but Exhibit A:

http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23417

I don't think it's a stretch to say that these upcoming university events were known about well in advance, to the point where one would logically assume that their online time might get cut down. This would've been a REALLY good thing to say BEFORE I said in multiple threads and to multiple people that the major battle would be starting this week. This is the second time now where I've told people that the battle was all ready to go and would happen in the coming days, only to be blindsided by a lack of communication.

Let's work on this guys. :)

Does Constantine need to do this personally? There's enough members of the hutt council, along with Viggy and the Taung, surely?

As I recall, Malgarr is supposed to be involved in the thread. It's part of the deal between the Hutts and the Bogan, with Malgarr and the Bogan speaking to one another.

I had no way of knowing until the actual day that i'd be participating in the events, I can't be blamed for something that isn't my fault.

Throw me a fricking bone here, how ****ing long have I been waiting to start this thread? Think of that, it's not my fault, these things happen unfortunately sometimes without warning.

Malgarr is integral to the thread, not only is he needed for signing the treaty I had multiple plans for him during the thread and the battles/engagements afterwards.

I never said you had to tell us you knew. I said you'd know the events were coming up, and that there would be the POSSIBILITY of you participating in them. A quick "Hey guys, something might be coming up, I might have to be part of it, but I don't know yet" would've spared me from - once again - saying the battle is happening in a few days when it's not.

I had no idea. I've already stated that, if I had of known you know full well I would've warned you about it, you and I have been communicating over msn constantly for the past two weeks about everything upcoming and current about the forums.

I've done a pretty bang up job being a faction leader so far and the only one slip up I had was caused by one member constantly nagging both you and me via PM and MSN which eventually didn't amount to anything.

If I had of known before today I would have said something and lord knows I'm not responsible for the countless set backs that have caused us to be unable to start the thread so far, I should know. I practically created the damn thread and all it's plotlines, character involvements etc. All in an effort to get all the factions working together OOC and duking it out IC in one single thread.

I hardly deserve this after one small hiccup after the work I put into it. I'm as annoyed as you are, if not moreso.

Stop making this about you. It's not about you.

Your thread was used as an example for a need to improve communication, something we NEED to do. The same applies to the staff.

You're using me as an example and it's completely false, I've done nothing but communicate with you about every issue. This was completely unforseen.

Use an ACTUAL example of what you're trying to talk about next time. Get it right next time is all I'm saying.

Sorry, I just assumed that your school was like every other school on the face of the planet where they just don't drop events out of thin air and immediately make you be part of it. =/

Either way, you're dragging this on more than it needs to. It was an example, albeit a wrong one, who cares. Move on, keep to the topic at hand.

Now you're just acting like a child, of course the event didn't just happen, I was brought in at the last minute. Why the **** else would I only make everyone aware of it now?

Get it right next time, I'm outta here.

It had looked to me, based on something else I'd read, that it just came out of nowhere.

But I've already acknowledged that I got it wrong, based on a lack of information provided by your Personal Notifications post, so I don't mean to be rude, because I'm not purposely trying to be, but please leave the thread until you're ready to have a conversation about the actual topic. We're both spamming this with useless OOC bickering at this point.
