Korriban, the origin of the Empire and the birthplace of the Sith order. The big dust ball was foreboding, unsightly, and all around inhospitable. Which made sense when you were a planet steeped in the mysticism of a cult that worships anger.

Bob hated the place, very much so in fact. It gave him the heebie jeebies something fierce. But he was here for a reason, and that reason was the future of the Empire and Imperial expansion. As usual he wondered how he had gotten into this mess, as he had only mentioned the idea in passing to a few other agents and Sith, and now he was leading a mission to colonize an entirely new world.

The Sith temple reflected everything Korriban was, just with a metal Imperial sheen. It was intimidating, uncomfortable, and judgmental. And Bob was forced to go inside to the very center of it in order to get his audience with one of the Sith lords. He had met Darth Victress only once before, on Dromund Kaas. She wasn't too unpleasant, but she could do with some color in her wardrobe.

Bob was standing at the bottom of the steps that led into the temple, waiting patiently for his two compatriots to join him. He didn't fancy wandering the temple by himself, let alone mozy his way down to the Dark Council chambers all on his lonesome. It was going to be an uphill battle, to get the approval for the massive amount of funding and assistance this undertaking was going to require. Not to mention finding all the colonists. But it was Bob's hope that he and his new friends could perhaps persuade Darth Victress to help them, but how they were to do that Bob didn't know as he lacked experience with the upper echelons of the Sith order.

Markov walked through Korriban, relishing in the familiar desert-like atmosphere of the planet. This is where he started his ascent and now he shall return to have another go at ascending further. This mission had uniqueness in the aspect that he was working with a Imperial Agent he hasn’t met in person yet, but this agent has worked for his campaign on Gamorr, nor bad he worked with the Acolyte beside him. He’d be keeping a close eye on this agent to be the leader of this objective, but his ambition told him to indirectly lead and show his ability.

Their group’s mission was simple: as usual he’d need to help speak with Darth Victress and the dark council about gaining their assistance in the overall conquest. He has worked with Victress before on the mission he lead. It shall probably be more difficult than usual because they’re Sith allies, but given his slowly rising status of convincing people, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

The three approached the Dark Council chambers inside the heart of the temple and waited by the entrance for permission to enter. Markov was ready to appear before his superiors, and he felt that perhaps some day he’d sit in that chamber beside them, and bring peace to the galaxy through might. It was his determination to use this and his missions to further his ambitions.

THEME

Her arms were crossed as usual. A stalwart woman of Deucalian upbringing looking at the seen before her. Zan was partial to more the arctic reaches and temperate climates of a more arboreal environement. Having spent so much time on a wasteland of a planet it would seem the acolyte still disliked arid desert like places.

Zan dropped her hands to her sides and rolled her shoulders. Her sith sword's handle jutting out over her shoulder on the left side. Her Deucalian long arm weapon, a Laestein, had its stock on the other side. She had her lightsabers on the small of her back and the rest of her standard equipment placed on her personal armor. Most sith war robes, hiding their forms but not Zan. She was broad compared to most women and as tall as most men if not taller.

The Deucalian would follow the old man up the steps of the Sith Temple. She inhaled slowly and exhaled as this was probably going to be some sort of ordeal. More than anything she was just bored of sitting on her arse all day in this place. The only thing worth doing around here was drinking and training, both of which got boring if they did not involve company.

The Empire was large and there were plenty of faces she did not recognize. The imperial agent and the acolyte that had both come on this endeavor were just new acquaintances. Bob wanted some sort of colonization effort done and was here to gain some support at the Darth's discretion. The Abbot, as he was called apparently, had not provided a great deal of information and Zan wondered if he expected her to speak on his behalf. He had not exactly briefed them on what he wanted so perhaps she wouldd just end up seeing an Imperial Agent getting backhanded by a Sith Lord. Either way, she hoped it would be worth coming out today.

It was a rarity to hold such meetings in the Dark Council chambers, deep within the void of sacred Korriban, the Sith Temple echoed with a certain conduit of the force. It was a sinister evil that reeked from the depths of their surroundings, but one that also infused the most worthy of dark sided practitioners with a certain conviction. The Dark Councilor had returned from Dromund Kaas as numerous ordeals required her attention on Korriban. The Emperor as well as the newly minted Sith Lord Darth Tagus had decided to help Crusader Drast in his war efforts on Hoth, leaving Victress to deal with most administrative responsibilities in their absence. The request had come in several days ago and she was a bit intrigued.

It appeared as one of the newer imperial agents wished a colonization effort into the far reaches of Outer Rim. Obviously such an endeavor would require certain resources and authorization. It may prove to be a fruitful expenditure however making that decision and analyzing the benefits of such rested on her shoulders. The council chambers were empty save for several slaves moving around busy in their cleaning responsibilities. The three sith would ascend the tall stairs and enter into a singular, open lobby area. Large doors would soon open for them, driven exclusively by the will of the force as mythical powers beyond their grasp acknowledged their presence.

Large fire pits would rest on the far extremes of the room while a hooded figure lay seated on one of the council throne chairs. Twin Tuk'ata nestled at her feet, growling in wait and seemingly just finished devouring what appeared as raw sith flesh. The councilor slowly shifted her attention to the three as they made their presence inwards, her features covered in the custom Black Hades armor as face lay hidden behind the frightening, duraplast visage. The room was plunged with a coldness unfamiliar to most of them, secondary to the sith magics echoed from the councilor's own force aura. Her voice was corrupted and somewhat robotic as it escaped from behind the helmet. @Darasuum @Shax @ByakuyaXVTogami

One would think that for a desert planet, Korriban wouldn't be so gosh dang cold! The Sith temple was in a word that didn't describe fear, brisk, and not from efficient ventilation systems. The place smelled like sweat and pain and as previously mentioned, it was really cold.

Bob didn't let that get him down though, intent on being a beacon of positivity amongst the depressing surroundings. When his new Sith friends arrived, he smiled warmly and shook their hands as he introduced himself. No sense being impolite of course. And as they moved throughout the temple and the ever crushing pressure of the supposed darkside began to weigh on his soul, he didn't let it show. He just continued to smile and wave an excitedly exclaim greetings to whoever would look in his direction. It was for him anyway, entertaining to see all the sneers he received.

The Dark council chambers were the temple turned up to eleven in terms of that primal feeling in the back of your mind telling you to not be where you are right now. But, he had a job to do, and by golly was he going to attempt it. The doors swung open and Bob waddled in, inclining his head respectfully towards the sole occupant of the chambers.

"Yes Ma'am!" Bob replied to the powerful Darth with an infectious, wide beaming grin. "We've come before you to day, to request some assistance from yourself and the illustrious dark council! You may have heard of our efforts in the colonization of a new world in the outer rim, and before I explain how I think this would benefit the Empire and its people, I would like to invite my compatriots to explain how this could benefit the Sith order directly, as they are far more knowledgeable about the subject than I. " Bob finished, extravagantly speaking and similarly extravagantly gesturing towards the two other Sith in the room. Putting both of them on the spot with a grin and a wink.

When they were let into the chamber, the Imperial agent went ahead more eagerly than what is needed, with little respect to his superiors. He was so frustrated already he was ready to begin curling his fingers to a force choke. When they approached Darth Victress, Markov immediately kneeled at the spot where he’d need to and bowed his head as he simply said,”We meet again, my Mistress...”

The agent was extremely excited oddly at the Sith Lady as he spoke, describing the mission in ecstatic detail. “Can’t this agent get even more eager and disrespectful... he leads this mission with too much excitement and it’s foolish to our mistress...” he thought as he continued on. After he was done he got up to begin explaining it in more reflective detail. The wink and cheeky grin he was given by the agent made him cringe and shake from the foolishness. He’d love to be able to put him in his place in a room like this.

“My Mistress, this group would like to request funding and assistance of a mission to claim a good outer rim planet for the good of the Empire. If we were to obtain the necessary assistance to colonize this planet into our fold, then it could increase our sphere of influence. If we take this planet now then we could perhaps establish an addition stronghold for the Sith Order to strengthen ourselves, physically and emotionally... I am willing to make this mission catalyze through my efforts and work...”

He waited for the other Acolyte to give another more logical speech to address the Agent’s request. Surely it would give more useful and explicit detail.

As the woman moved she saw the movement in the darkness of indentured servants, slaves that had been foolish or just unlucky. Slavery was not a problem for Zan. There were plenty of Sith that for some reason were irked by the idea. But in the cut throat galaxy, the food chain of reality, the strong dominated the weak. That was just how things were.

The trio approached the Dark Councilor. Zan looked at her, the dogs beneath her seat and took in her visage. The Deucalian's bare skin that was exposed felt the coolness of the room which was surprising given the fires and the openness it had to the warmer elements outside. But the acolyte welcomed it. She was partial to the cold after all. Darth Victress as she was called though seemed to be trying somewhat to appear dramatic. Zan wondered what the Emporor would say about her appearance, a rather amusing quip perhaps. Then again she had never met the man, only glimpsed him at that funeral before the last emperor had been killed.

When she spoke though, perhaps that gave some light as to her appearance. Maybe she had been injured, damaged by some combat. It would explain some things. But the broad shouldered woman had not heard anything like that around the camp fire or over cups of ale. Surely such things would have become rumor if they had occurred. This guy's kneeling? she wondered. It was not so much a surprise that perhaps the Dark Councilor had earned it but the way that Markov had done it just seemed like a bit of a kiss arse.

Zan was not here for herself. She was just another acolyte on a mission to request aid apparently. As such she let the Abbot do the talking. But then he had to go and offer her voice to speak on his behalf. Slowly she turned her braided head to stare at the rotund man. Her mind imagining flaying him alive for a moment before turning her gaze back to her superior. Inhaling slowly she would let the breath leave her body. Never one to rush into a conversation where words mattered, she chose her words carefully as Markov spoke first.

As she expected. More of the same from Markov. Zan had only just met the man and she already did not like him, then again. He was a man. Women should rule and it was for reasons like this. Maybe I actually respect the Mandalorians more than this dark sider who called himse- She stopped her thought process when she found herself in silence. Apparently it was her turn to talk. Clearing her throat she began her pitch.

"Bastion is predominately Human populace, their culture and life style would integrate well with the Empire. Their major export is military grade items. It would add numerous benefits to the Empire in the long run and certainly keep from being taken by the Mandalorians or Galactic Alliance. After their previous bases were compromised it is only a matter of time before they start looking for other ideal bases to make their own. If I were them, I would try to make Bastion a world under my flag." It was a military and strategic stand point she saw from. The Deucalian woman could go on but she felt that less was more and if someone in Darth Victress's position had questions, she would ask them.

The Dark Councilor first observed all three as they approached closer in the chamber, her gaze unseen as it peered from behind the duraplast visage but it settled on each of them momentarily before finding a resting place on the Agent. Bob as he preferred to be addressed was an interesting man and she had a brief encounter with him prior during a conference meeting with the promising imperial operatives. He was respectful as she appreciated but also a bit over the top for her tastes; she was additionally disappointed that even though he had spearheaded this discussion, he would rely on the others to fill in their explanation for requesting her audience.

She slowly turned her face towards the male acolyte, tilting her head to the side arrogantly as he knelt before her and began to speak. Formalities were important though not absolutely always required; each Sith Lord had their personal preferences and Victress was slightly more forgiving than others when it came to certain nuances. Regardless, she paid attention as he spoke and while she agreed with a majority of his sentiment it appeared that there was no true plan or conviction behind it. Many acolytes would request for assistance to higher ranked individuals to help carve the Empire more territory in the galaxy. However, in this case, his explanation solely was not enough for the dark lord to contribute finite resources. Lastly, she turned towards the female acolyte as she spoke.

It was true that the Rebels had abandoned numerous bases including valuable planets such as Hoth and Tatooine. Could Bastion be a potential next target? Perhaps, it certainly did well in exportation of military grade items and in the long run would yield benefits if the Empire could arrive and make the locals submit to their rule. It was a gamble nonetheless, however seldom could success occur without some degree of risks. Finally as they finished, the Darth remained in silent for a few lingering moments before speaking.

"Yes, I am aware of the Rebels' most recent plunders, including their inability to maintain operations on various different planets. While terrorist occupation may not be troublesome in the long run, it could certainly serve us well to act as an immediate deterrent." She replied, turning slowly back towards the agent @Shax , "It seems your comrades have done their analysis well. Tell me Agent, what would be our risks and resources necessary in order to achieve these results?"

Bob was hoping his new Sith friends would have taken the opportunity to be selfish, such was their way. Explain how a new world to colonize would be beneficial specifically to the Sith order, as Bob truly had no clue how that would be the case. Ironically, despite his knowledge on all things Empire, Bob didn't know much about the Sith and their operations. But despite that, he was happy the two folks were on board with the idea to begin with. Or at least had good enough improvisational skills to bullshit their way through this conversation with generic reasons as to why conquest was good.

But, now it was his turn to talk, and talk he would, as he had much to talk about. First, Bob turned to the two Sith he had brought along to this assignment. "Thank you my friends for your tremendous words of wisdom and reasoning!" He said happily and loudly. Loud enough in fact, that most of the guardsmen outside the sealed dark council chambers could probably hear him, despite the fact that he wasn't shouting.

He turned to Darth Victress finally, and gave her another respectful nod before he began to speak again. "The endeavor would be expensive my lady, I will not lie. Both in man power and resources required. My intent is to bring patriots, veterans, and the displaced to this planet, so that it may become a true Imperial world. Those few natives who live on the planet already will be swept away or integrated into the populace under Imperial control. While this venture may be expensive, it can and will have far greater rewards." Bob said, pausing a moment to collect his thoughts.

"The risks would be little, for so much gain. A world that would become the beacon and example of Imperial prosperity. Proof that we can not only conquer worlds and bring them into a new golden era, but that we can found new worlds entirely and bring them up to par within a matter of years. Not forgetting the mention of course, the military exports my good friend here pointed out." Bob paused, smiling over at Zan before continuing. "It is far from the war front, and would be a safe world with which to expand our military might and our influence over the outer rim. I can think of no better reason than that." Bob finished.

He embellished of course. There was always risks involved. Pirates, crazy cultists, Mandalorians, strange space phenomena, utter economic collapse. But he wasn't going to mention - or he would at least downplay - the very real problems that could arise from this venture when at the meeting that would determine whether or not the mission would actually go ahead as planned. And there were more reasons for its colonization of course, but Bob didn't feel the need to mention them to the Sith lord in front of him/

He stood up and began pacing slowly to the center to prepare a statement of his own. Markov continued to listen to the statements of his allies, which the Acolyte’s statement made him feel hope for her. He continued to listen as he then heard Victress speak and from her critiques, he felt slightly relieved he appealed, especially in comparison to the agent. The agent’s bumbling attitude made him cringe more; he wasn’t his friend: he was there to do business for the Empire and prove himself. He felt even more offended by his lack of manners by speaking loudly and to him, having the demeanor of a Bard.

He didn’t have much to say other than “Baston would be a nice asset, and inserting our populous into the planet would increase our sphere of influence over the overall area.... Perhaps we can establish a stronghold that would improve the Imperial military with the population there...” he said silently, probably not being strong but a suggestion would be nice.

To him, no other planet would be a good insert population and influence then Baston. Yes it would be risky to obtain, but their ability and freedom to do whatever they want with the planet he inferred would get the attention of the dark council in some way. All he really cares about is having leadership roles and proving himself, especially to a Darth.
“I will make sure of what you would want to do with Baston, if anything. This planet I hope will be worthy of our use to you...”

He didn’t care if the others convinced her, only himself, but all could benefit to his personal agenda and theirs and perhaps if he helped them. Markov looked at the Darth as he stood in the center of the room at this point.

Maybe Bob actually cared about the quality of life for Imperial citizens. She had met few people who cared about the big picture to that degree yet still hypocritically expected their own principles to be carried out on a galactic scale. He was a curious individual and Zan would have to keep an eye on him. Perhaps they could grab a drink later. He seemed like a man that would enjoy a good flagon of ale.

The Deucalian had already said her part. If she wanted to have a concise one on one conversation about the tactical plan with the pros and cons of various actions then Zan would do so. But she was more likely to do that with the agent than the Dark Councilor. Regardless of merit or opinion towards anyone in Darth Victress's position she had other duties to attend to.

Victress's words seemed to be mixed up, perhaps Zan had heard wrong. 'plunder' instead of 'blunder'? perhaps she meant it and I'm just missing something. Whatever. Not like it matters. The others said their part and while some parts of each she did not wholly agree with their words she remained silent. Zan looked at the tuk'ata beneath Victress's feet as she waited for things to move along. She wondered if they made actual decent companions or just intimidating hounds. Maybe they would make some decent pelts.

One of the hounds had just finished his meal and was feeling ready for his afternoon nap. The other however was still seemingly hungry and caught Zan's eye as she was looking at him. It whipped out its tongue, licking the lips briefly while lightly growling. Its master had never fed him Deucalian meat and the hound wondered what it would taste like. As the more plump agent was speaking however, the Hound slowly shifted its attention over to Robert. The creature would be lying if it didn't think of feasting on the agent first, after all, subcutaneous fat was tastier than muscle.

The Dark Councilor listened to the two of them speak; in her position, she had to evaluate whether such an operation would be worth the resources and risks associated. On one hand, she appreciated the reasoning from Zan; a planet with large exportation of military grade items was always useful and their advancement would keep it out of the hands of their enemies. The advancement however, was the tricky part and gauging the amount of resources required some sound judgment. It appeared that the biggest gamble would be monetary, considering the transportation and implantation of new citizens onto the world as well as whatever was necessary to prepare for the initial struggles until their population managed to take hold of the planet.

She was silent for several moments before she replied. "Very well, the risks seem relatively minor in comparison to what we will gain if you are successful. Which one of you three will take the initiative to lead this operation?" She asked, after all, you couldn't have three equals making decisions, it tended to never fruit well. It was also a test to see which one of them had the courage to lead or whether all three would hesitate to seize the mantle of leadership.

Those Tuk'ata were just the cutest things ever made. Bob almost lost his train of thought when one of them began looking at him. They looked so tough, but they must be very squeezable and would probably love a good hug. Regardless of his purely scientific inclinations to just snuggle the little guys, Bob had a job to do and he must do it to the best of his ability.

He heard Markov speaking, but he didn't really process the words because he was so distracted by the big animals he just wanted to pet. He didn't even hear Zan speak, because she didn't as far as he was aware. But, he did have they wherewithal to snap back into focus when Victress started talking. He was happy she was approving the mission, as shown by his beaming smile and happy 'hooray!' he exclaimed silently to himself.

With no thoughts of personal glory, Bob had already prepared several pressing issues that he would need to take care of should this mission actually begin, and considering the whole endeavor was his idea, he spoke up first. "I suppose I will, seeing as I was assigned to the job anyway I've already prepared some figures and a detailed account of what we will need. And I can call in some favors with intelligence and elsewhere to get this thing off the ground in a timely manner." Bob finished with a smile as per usual. He didn't think Victress would have liked a slideshow presentation, and the only reason he had prepared one because he knew his buddies in intelligence would want one in order to know what they were working on.

"Unless there is anything else, I think we should get to work on this right away." Bob finished, opening the floor one last time for Zan and Markov to speak before awaiting dismissal from the Darth.

Markov felt his posture changed and overall mood change in a way when the Councilor asked for a leader. His eyes became more focused, but before he could take initiative and finally do something for the empire as a leader, the agent had to have spoken up, which interrupted his slightly better mood very quickly.

He would lead the mission, given his supposed lead in the first place. Markov wondered,Why does he get he chance to lead such a mission, as an agent and he’s working with Sith? This fool says he knows the information but he relied on us warriors heavily to deliver it, but at better rate. Besides, he was more true to the empire in personality and fidelity! I must take initiative for the Empire, not a super enthusiastic child...

Markov had sighed angrily slightly under his breath when the opportunity was taken from him, but he felt that his ability could sway the councilor to let him or even the other Acolyte be the operative. “I feel that I could do quite well for the Empire by leading this operation from my own hand... given that I could pursue it by the tip of my blade as well as my speaking ability for diplomacy and persuasion... I feel that a Sith running this execution would make this far easier...” he said as he hoped that Zan would also stand that Sith would be able run it better. It was his idea; he could give him credit for the ideas for sure, but he didn’t stand for that an Imperial Agent, especially one that he didn’t really like in terms of personality, could order a Sith.

He kept his eyes focused on Darth Victress as he was speaking and now, he waited for Zan to take a decent response and for the Victress to verdict and dismiss them.

The Dark Councilor had heard them out and did not seem to think it was a bad idea. That was good. The Deucalian acolyte returned to the present and stopped eyeing the creatures at Victress's feet. But now she was wondering who was going to take on the mantle of the operation. If Zan had wanted to lead the operation she would have built it from the ground up. Already this had the finger prints of another on it and was not really her, style. If she wanted to take credit for something she would prefer it be wholly her's. There were less factors and matters of instability or miscommunication in transition between leadership that way.

She heard the Abbot's obvious claim to the job. That was actually who she had assumed was going to lead this the whole time. Perhaps Victress was looking for the trio to fight among one another. Well, it was not a bone Zan was eager to fight over so she turned to head towards the door. Markov's visible annoyance towards Robert for some reason sparked him to ask for leading the operation. Maybe the fat man slept with his crush or peed on his ship or something. The tall woman did not care but it did not really help her already waning opinion of the acolyte.

What Markov did not realize is that Zan did not think herself superior to non force users. When the woman felt herself better than others it was not because she had been randomly endowed with the ability to manipulate cosmic energies. She was better than Markov because she did her own leg work. She was better than the Abbot because she probably could beat him in a fight. There were plenty of non force sensitives that had gained renown and accomplished a great deal yet there was some view inside the male acolyte's head that made him feel superior. It was fine for members of the Empire to try and surpass one another but Zan just did not have the patience for it right now.

"Agent Abbotangelo came up with the idea and is confident in his own abilities. Change of leadership will just increase logistical problems. Not worth satisfying your opportunistic ambition Aletaus." She did not care about Markov's image. He wanted to be seen as strong he would have to take it, not ask for it. That was the way of a warrior on the battle field. Both the deucalian and sith parts of her knew that. Zan was not doing it for the Abbot's sake either. She held him to the same standard and would judge him as well if he had any slip ups.

Victress glanced from one to the other, her eyes saccading slowly between the agent as well as the two acolytes as they spoke. It was rather amusing, she had not expected a debate for the position of leader and as they had brought the initiative to launch the operation, she expected most important details had already been established. A simple question, and the Dark Councilor had no interest in watching these three fight over a silly task. It was more important however, for her to obtain a measure of one's character; after all, the simplest of actions allow the pass of judgment.

The agent was straight forward and honest, admirable qualities at this pretense; the Dark Councilor did not need each of her agents to display combat prowess and those that believed such false tenets would never end up rising to the mantle of leadership. The Deucalian came to the agent's support, a surprising gesture but one that was well-articulated and its sentiment shared with Victress herself. Lastly, as all three had spoken, she shifted her attention upon Markov; his statement and attempt at wrestling away command easily indicated that he could not be trusted. And while deceit was necessary, it set him upon a bad path, notably displaying such qualities in front of a Dark Councilor was never promising.

She waited a few more moments, allowing the silence to linger in the empty chamber before she spoke. "Acolyte Aletaus, your statements do not grant you the credentials necessary to assume command." She replied, turning slightly towards Robert. "Agent Abbotangelo, you will proceed with this operation, and make sure you keep imperial intelligence notified of your progress. You are dismissed.." She said, casting a final glance at all three, the tone of her voice indicating that the position of leadership in this operation was no longer up for debate.

Bob wasn't really surprised per se when the Sith threw in his hat for the mantle of leadership. That was simply something the Sith would do on a daily basis. Need some blue milk? Surely enough some Sith will come scurrying towards you saying something like 'allow me m'lord! I shall hunt down this fabled artifact for you!' And that always made Bob cry with laughter.

He was surprised when the other Sith didn't do the same and backed him and his mediocre math skills. Yep, he could do everything but math, so he was willing to bet most of his figures were off by several million credits. It still warmed his heart that he had truly made some friends on this trip to Korriban. He would be sure to buy Ms. Zan a drink at some point, just to be polite. He turned and gave her a big smile before snapping back towards Victress as she began mumbling again through her mask.

Hooray! He wasn't getting ousted from this assignment just because he was a regular normal human being and didn't have mystical sorceries! Twas like a dream come true, considering Sith always like to simultaneously raise each other into positions of power and then utterly destroy one another like a couple of days later.

"Thank you ma'am! I'll get the organization and preparation underway once I've briefed my friends in Intelligence. From there, it shouldn't be too long until we have a fully functioning colony on Bastion!" Bob said with his trademark chuckle, utterly disregarding Victress's dismissal as if he hadn't heard it just so he could hear himself talk some more. He spun around to the two Sith who had accompanied him and said "Let's go get a drink! Must be some good place to get some booze on this dust ball..." He finished, muttering to himself as he left the dark council chambers.
