Certain multi-functional Imperial diplomats visited Toong'L. Jayscreec barely heard anything about this place before. Most humans of the Empire had little to nothing to do with this planet or it's weird creatures. After being briefed, the agent had a good idea of their tasks.

These long-armed, piss-colored, large-headed monsters had to bend their gangling knees.

Commander Markus Varo led the envoy where Jay personally accompanied him. The Empire did a favor already by removing a true danger, so the cards were laid open on the table. The Toong had to join the Empire, and one way or another, they were going to.

Not all agents boarded the shuttle to use their diplomatic skills. Maybe the more experienced Commander Varo was one of them who could speak, but Jay was infamous of "taking out the trash" among the Imperials. They were both here for the same reason, to seek the success of their mission. In the late evening the envoy landed at the Toong's modest palace where they met their greeting party and the vanguard. They offered them generous accommodation and agreed to begin trials the next day.

The shuttle jolted as it entered the airspace. The briefing had been brief, but it was straightforward, go to Toong'L and negotiate the terms for joining the Empire. Thankfully, the Toong'L are already grateful for the Empire for destroying a comet that was on course to destroy the planet, so it only be a means of setting out the terms of their fold into the Empire. Markus wasn't alone on this mission, he would be accompanied by several Imperial agents that would help participate in the diplomacy. However, they were given strict orders that if diplomacy failed, aggressive negotiation tactics would be allowed.

Markus wasn't new to alien beings, and was accustomed to learning new cultures, but he knew many of the agents held negative attitudes towards nonhumans, though the Sith Empire attempted to put down these thoughts once encouraged by the Imperial Republica.

The shuttle landed on one of the various landing pads, and Markus nodded to the man beside him, Agent Alecwit, who would be personally accompanying him on the mission. While Markus would facilitate the negotiations, Jay would assist, and more importantly, command the other agents and troopers accompanying them, showing the might of the Empire to instill fear into the royalties to join the Empire. The landing pad opened, and the agents filed out, Toong'L representatives greeting them with big smiles.

Trust nobody. The aliens seemed to be simple, yet Jay knew well that things look different than what they are. As soon as they took room with Commander Varo he started looking around. He flipped the whole place. He thoroughly searched every single piece of furniture, went through the walls and looked for listening devices or other spy equipment.

He brought his pistol inside, while the heavy equipment was left on-board. Except his Gladius Blaster Rifle. He took it apart and hid it among their equipment, just in case.

"Commander, the room's secured. Do you have anything on mind already for tomorrow?" Jay asked before he started consuming the dinner he brought. He wouldn't eat what the Toong offered. "I heard you've been serving for long. What is your experience in similar cases? They seem too friendly, so I'm not sure they will be willing to talk without encouragement."

President Quadinaros Megadangzark IV was in a most excellent mood.

President Megadangzark, to be fair, was pretty much always in an excellent mood.

As the single wealthiest being in the system, owing to his complete ownership of the much adored Megadangzark Fish Products Consortium, he had much to be happy about. As President of the Toong'L sector, with the largest majority in living memory, he had even more to be happy about. And, having just seen his planet saved from a comet that could have killed them all in a firey death storm, well - that was just the cherry on the icing.

He was in, a most excellent mood.

It was why President Quadinaros Megadangzark IV had requested to meet representatives of his savours, for perhaps in some way, he could be of use to them. Waving to his secretary, whose name he had quite forgotten, and instructed them to send an invite to his saviours, asking that they attend him at his Presidential Palace, for a party in their honour.

As the Imperials joined the representatives, a large group formed. Markus thought back to his elementry school years, Single file lines children, single file lines. While Markus was escorted by his troopers, all the imperials were shepherded by alien guards with the officials leading the way at the front. They entered the main building, and Markus noted the fine artwork and luxerious furniture.

As soon as they entered the room, and half of the guards left closing the door behind them, his men got to work, looking for any hidden devices. His head security man, agent Alecwit confirmed there were no listening devices. Not like it would matter. Anything that would be said in this room wasn't going to be seceret or anything. Markus returned his attention to the Jayscreec, "Well according to my itinery, we're supposed to be meeting with the president shortly, and tomorrow will most likely result in a tour and further discussions. I didn't get much information as to what would be happening tomorrow." In a wisper, "Just remember that if negotiations fail, you have the green light to move to agressive manuvers." "Yes, i've been serveing for quite some time, I even served as the commander for Darth Parox. As for my experience, this isn't the first time i've had to "diplomatically" negotiate with off world officials. I've visited many planets in my time." At that time, an official opened another door and stated that the president would meet them now.

Mila finished making her rounds through the city. She was a lone imperial agent, working with the natives to establish a small security perimeter around the location that negotiations were to take place. The Empire thought it prudent to allow the natives to oversee security of the area, but sent her ahead of the main envoy to make quick inspections. It was imperative that Commander Varo, whom she had not yet met, and the rest of the Imperial delegation were afforded up-to-standard security measures. Working with the natives was easy enough, she grew up in the Old Empire, where aliens were common. Satisfied, she set out to report to the commander.

As she walked into the building, she checked in with her fireteam out on the perimeter of the city. Though the Empire believed there would be a peaceful resolution, they took every precaution necessary for the possibility that negotiations went a little more aggressive. Four agents were stationed outside the city, ready for rapid deployment, should the need arise. Confident that everything was up to par, she headed for the delegation.

She walked into the room the Imperials were occupying. She observed the Imperials scanning for listening devices and waited for an opening to speak to the commander. As she watched him finish up his conversation with another agent, she approached him. "Commander Varo," she says, saluting him. "I am Lieutenant Calrín. I was sent ahead to coordinate security with the natives. Everything checks out. The native security unit will be ready for the negotiations. I am reporting to check in and looking to resolve any concerns or orders you may have." she says, awaiting his response.

Since the delegations has not brought entertainment - nor company - for themselves, Mila caught Jay's attention pretty quick. He firmly saluted her as she stepped into the room. "Lieutenant." He greeted her. His body stance held confidence. Jay flashed a smile before he exited the room and went to prepare for the meeting.

He reassembled his blaster pistol and tucked it into his holster. He open-carried it inside like it was the most natural thing to do. Standing by Commander Varo's side, he remained silent for now, awaiting what was about to happen.

Jay believed that they were actually doing good here. Other than expecting to get something in return of the previous favor, these aliens were just right about to get a taste of real civilization. More than excellent, they will get a feel what it is like to be out of the shit swamp. He smiled at the individuals, folding his arms beneath his chest.

Before Varo would greet the officials, another agent walked up to him and greeted him. Markus returned the salute, "Splendid Lieutenant, your work is conmendable. I hope the natives were'nt of any trouble." Markus smiled, he returned his gaze to the officials, and could tell they were impatiantly waiting. "Let us now meet the esteemed president." The imperials followed the officials into the even more gandour room. In the center of the room was a large table of rectangular shape. The president was at the head of the table.

"Mr. President, such an honor to meet you." Markus opened his hands. His tactician mind switching to politician mode.
