How can I make my characters.

First you'll want to check out the PM I sent you. If you're having trouble finding the PM, just look for a red exclamation mark(!) and click on it. The red exclamation mark will be over the Inbox button, which is on the top right of the forum. I'll put whats in the PM here too, just in case you still can't find it.

Welcome to The Star Wars RP!

We're role-playing 6,903 years before Episode IV, in a timeline called The First Sith. It's an era right at the end of our version of the Hundred-Year Darkness, dealing with the rise of the Sith. The Jedi Exiles and Jedi Knights are down to very few and scattered after the war devastated both sides, but some are still fighting tooth and nail… meanwhile, the Hutt Cartel is thriving. You can read more about it here and click the aforementioned faction links to learn more about them.

Here are some other ways to get started:

• Check out the SWRP Beginner's Guide.
• If you haven't already done so, feel free to post a thread here to introduce yourself to the rest of the site. We're excited to have you here!
• Read through the Rules and Guidelines, which includes info on character growth.
• Create a character so you can start RPing! You can also include information about player-created technology, planets, species, and lore into your profile. Your character will be approved soon after it's posted. Your character does not need to be approved in order to start role-playing in basic social threads, but it does need to be approved in order to take part in faction events.
• Check out the General Forums boards and join our Discord channel to get to know your fellow members.

Those are the basics. If you have any questions or need any help, feel free to let me know, ask an administrator, or post in our Role-Playing Help board.

After you've read through those links in the PM (or above), you'll have to fill out a character sheet. You can use the Default Character Sheet Template, if you want. You can also check out the Code & Character Sheet Templates for a more complex template.

Once you fill out the character sheet, you post it in the Character Profiles and a profile mod will approve it within a reasonable amount of time. While you're waiting for approval you can begin role-playing with your character in basic role-plays. In order to do that you need to make a Sub-Account (aka Character Account); we have a Guide to Creating Sub-Accounts you can follow to do that.
