It had been a few months since Elohim Aeon had been seen or heard from in Cartel Space. For all intents and purposes, the Cartel Champios was considered MIA, even KIA. But there was no body to confirm either. Elohim had never been really been a widely talked about criminal the likes of a Jack Tamblyn or a Yuri Sharpe, but the highest echelons of the Cartel - the Kajidic Council, knew the human very well. He was close friends with then-Granee Lorda Borga, and was one of the more effective enforcers the Cartel had seen for quite a while. He had the ability to balance the quarelling Kajidics, even if for a moment - which was a task few Hutts could do. He had even led the defense of Klatooine against the invading Imperial forces. He successfully created a small niche for himself in the Cartel and led one of the Cartel's more active business fronts, and suddenly disappeared.

Years of work, that's what it took him. His company, [aeon]CORP, was dissolved. Distributed amongst the Kajidics, spread around and diminished. His patience and labor to build it up from scratch - all of it was gone. The Jedi had believed in not having possessions for a reason - and it was a lesson Elohim was beginning to realize why. Possessions led to suffering. Many sentients believed the Jedi to be emotionless beings, but it wasn't true. The Jedi had feelings like everyone else but they focused on trying to control them, keeping them under wraps and not allowing their feeling to cloud their judgement. Easier said than done, right?

Then again the Hutts had the right to do so - Elohim was gone. He was nowhere to defend his assets, and truly he had no basis to believe they were "his" in the first place. Everything belonged to the Hutts, they could do as they pleased. Elohim no longer had the backing of the Granee Lorda on his side, and even the Council's major players shifted as the arrival of the new Granee Lorda rose - Adippos. He heard the name in passing before, but never did he take much of it. And now this Adippos would be who he'd have to appeal to. And worse yet - he knew nothing about him. But the human had to start somewhere if he was to restart his work. He'd have to find his way back in. The Cartel had their hands in a massive wealth, one he could exploit and use for relative good. To benefit anyone that wasn't the Sith Empire.

He had the record, he simply had to ensure the Hutts that he was capable. Still.

Stepping through the expansive corridors fit for the Hutt Lords that more often crawled through them, he felt smaller than he should of. The Central HUB was always a drag to be in at higher security areas - like the Hutt Lord's section. Always heavily protected and ever-cautious meant his meeting wouldn't be solitary. He was dressed in simple brown clothing that more resembled the rags found on the Hutt slaves throughout the Galaxy, guarded and escorted by six armed droids surrounding him at every angle and led by a single Togorian guard at the forefront of the group. Unarmed, of course, the human and his guard detail stopped ahead of a massive door. Turning around, the Togorian let out a low growl, as the robotic guards left their circle formation and lined up in parallel of each other. << Wait, human. >> one of the guard droids let out in Huttesse. Human. It seemed that's all the Champios meant to the Cartel.
