Krass had been led of the stage of the press conference as an assassination attempt had been made. Silas Amory stood, dark circles around his eyes and sweat breaking on his forehead, in the middle of milling assistants of Aren Krass, waiting for the man. Krass came through the blast doors and Amory could hardly contain himself. He met Aren's face with an open-handed slap across the cheek. CorSec and nearby security raised their weapons at Silas but he didn't flinch. It wasn't the first time he'd had a gun to his head.
"You..." Silas seethed as he pointed a finger in Krass' face, his rage keeping the tension in the room tighter than a virgin's virtue. He looked around at the 20-30 or so people in the room and raised his voice. "Everyone out!" No one was sure of what to do. His voice became shrill, vibrating with anger. "OOOOOUT!"
Everyone dropped what they were doing and left. Peopled shoved past each other and the guards backed away, rifles still raised at Amory as they did so. The blast doors finally closed behind them and Aren was now all alone with Silas. Silas paced angrily, swiping papers and clutter off of a table and crashing to the floor. He hadn't let his temper get to him like this in absolute years. When he finally turned back to Krass, his pupils had something like a fire in them.
"All right you arrogant gobshite..." Amory's low-borne accent came out in his anger. "... you better start fecking talkin right now, or I swear by all your fecking money, I will personally arrange your imminent demise and you fooking know I can get away with it!" He hissed between clenched teeth, knowing that this would strain their already tense relationship with each other.
