Skaut walked onto the transport and sat down in the main area. He grabbed the first aid kit and opened it up. He grabbed the bandages and wraped up the cuts on his arms. He sighed deeply with the pulling off his hood and mask, feeling the cool air on his face. He set his gear on the table, along with Soran's canteen. He looked around the transport, seeing Soran sleep. He almost knew he was faking, but he didn't care.

The transport took off into the air leaving the planet, Soran sat without moving eyes closed. Skaut was angry, he could feel it, taste it. He wondered if the canteen was still full of water. Morriban shrank into the distance, space surrounded the ship. Soran finally spoke, "Pass.", one word when he spoke could have had the mass of a star.

His eyes flashed open, they were no longer darkened and harsh, the blue had brightened up. He calmly looked at the angry young man and studied him. Would he respond or would he continue pouting like a child?

"I passed the test?" He said, turning around to face Soran. The color in his eyes returned to normal ice blue. "Finally." He sighed with relief. Tired and bloody, he took off his robes, showing his armor. It was beaten, covered in sand, and scratched up. To him, it now had some character. "So, what now, Observer?" He asked, taking off the gloves of his armor. "Are we going on another test, or are we heading back to Korriban?"

Soran looked out the window of the transport, "I plan to go home and wait for my orders. I assume you will possibly be in my care..." The idea of being a teacher did not excite Soran, he hoped the higher-ups changed their minds about this. Who was he kidding they would not, Skaut would be a constant shadow over his shoulder, slowing his research but at least he made a good meat-shield. Korriban grew as the transport approached, "We have returned, report our expedition. Come find me when you are done we have work to do." Soran had reevaluated the worth of Skaut, maybe he would be of use, if only for a distraction.

The ship landed and the two Sith left the ship. Soran knew his destination, he needed a drink and headed for a small bar not far from the port. Skaut headed off to report what happened during his mission.
