Description: Prototype humanoid walker designed and built by an independent contractor. This walker was created with multiple high-end Ilen parts and programs with external equipment designed by some of the best independent weapons company around. Standing almost 4 meters taller and packing more experimental and conventional technology than any other walker, it represents almost twelve years of secretive development and refinement. Furthermore, thanks to refinement in bipedal locomotion by Ilen Technologies, the ACW-01 can reach 90km/h without having to redirect power and is capable of hitting a maximum running speed of 140km/h for up to five minutes. This running speed gives the ACW-01 an amazing operational distance when combined with it's maximum operational time of fifteen hours. Finally inertial dampeners provide a smooth ride for the operator for these 15 hours. Despite the amount of technology and equipment put into it, it has only attracted the attention of a few mercenary groups but it is generally hoped that the project will reach market success.

Armor and Hardening
The armor encasing the ACW-01 is fairly strong despite being rather thin compared to other conventional walkers due to the design's focus on speed rather than heavy defenses. It is constructed of Duraplast sandwiched in between Titanium with a final thin Impervium layer for all exterior parts, rendering the armor effectively immune to all infantry carried slugthrowers or blasters and explosives while remaining extremely resistant to infantry carried anti-armor weapons. The armor can even shrug off a few hits from a heavy repeating blaster cannon or a 60mm cannon. However, it is not recommended that would be much more wiser to avoid such a barrage or to attempt to perform evasive maneuvers. Furthermore, major joints such as elbow, knee, and neck are built with sliding armor plates to give it higher resistance towards damage. While most infantry carried weapons are incapable of damaging these joints, it is possible for an infantry carried anti-armor weapon to jam or destroy the joints. It is likely that this armor will be thinned even more for the production model in order to reduce cost of production and purchase while increasing ease of maintenance and operation time.

Finally, all internal systems have been reinforced to be more resistant to EMP and Ion attacks. While a massive area of effect EMP or Ion blast is unlikely to damage or even impair the unit itself, external weapons and external equipment can be affected. An extremely concentrated EMP or Ion attack is likely able to disable or impede the unit as well if it connects directly to the core of the unit.

Of note is the addition of magazine storage space in the hip armor. The slots located on the top and the top half of the front hip armor each can contain two additional magazines. While this does reduce the armor in that area, the armor is still impervious to infantry carried weapons both normal and antiarmor, though a direct hit or two from a heavy repeating blaster cannon or 60mm cannon will most likely penetrate and possibly cook off the magazines within.

Shields
The ACW-01 is equipped with a primary Ilen Technologies HISA-03P dual layer ray and particle shield emitter with a backup GIAS LFS-34N single layer ray shield. The primary shields were originally designed for use on fighters and it's quite resilient with the ray shield shrugging off blaster cannons with ease and the particle shield is capable of ignoring rounds up to 80mm. However, due to the drain it puts on the system, the primary shields cannot be activated while the Limited Flight System is activated. The more energy efficient and weaker GIAS backup shield must be used during flight to ensure that the friction buildup does not damage the unit. While the backup shield still allows for flight, it only takes three or so blaster cannon shots to down. Both arrays are located in the core. As there is no way to remove this problem without creating an even stronger generator or designing a new shield array, both of which would require more money and development time, it is likely that the production model will have this flaw as well unless the shield is to be removed as a standard feature.
Equipment Listed Here are Still Underdevelopment and Subject to Change During Release of Production Model

GIAS AWB-01P Repeating Blaster Cannon
The GIAS AWB-01P was originally designed with precision in mind, for a humanoid walker meant to do what less disposable organic folks could not. However, GIAS had never attempted to make a blaster weapon for a humanoid walker before and had mistakenly expected the blaster to draw off the walker for its power. When it became clear that this was nonviable the weapon was modified to hold an extremely durable power pack while keeping the original design. Sadly, the original aim to create a precision blaster had to be scrapped as well once the new power pack was installed. It was far more durable than anything GIAS had created before, but it sacrificed pure power output at any given time for an extremely long lifespan.

The end result was completely different from what they had set out to do. The resulting 2 meter long repeating blaster cannon prototype was a reaper of infantry, a mass murderer of foot soldiers that could fire 400 RPM on full auto and 600 RPM on a five round burst, the crimson bolts flying at 750 m/s on an effective range of 1 kilometer with a total capacity of 300 rounds. The GIAS AWB-01P is also capable of taking on lightly armored vehicles and heavy war droids, although why would you want to use something as beautifully lethal against infantry like this on something that couldn't appreciate the storm of bolts? Finally, an intelligent computer located on board the weapon links up to the ACW-01's targeting computer and creates a reticule on the HUD of the unit. In case the targeting or intelligent computer fails, there is a set of backup iron sights located on the top of the weapon.

GIAS AWBR-02P Mod. 0 Modular Autocannon
The GIAS AWBR-02P Mod. 0 is a solid ballistic rifle designed specifically for ACW-01. It uses 60x489mm cartridges, custom-made for the rifle. Firing at 300 RPM, with a muzzle velocity upwards of 1400m/s. There are several firing modes to choose from, semi-auto, 4-round burst, and fully automatic. The P in its designation indicates it is a prototype, while the Mod. 0's usage is atypical. It denotes what loadout the rifle has. Mod. 0 being "stock". There are several loadouts available, though they typically require heavy machinery to switch between. The stock loadout includes adjustable backup iron sights, 20-round magazine, on-board computer aiming system which links with ACW-01's targeting computer, 1.8 meter barrel, and stock foregrips. It is about 3 meters long overall. Effective range of 2 kilometers, with the maximum being around 3. The ammunition loadout within the magazine is either 4 High Explosive Incendiary/Armor Piercing rounds followed by a High Explosive Incendiary Tracer or 3 APFSDS-T rounds, one round HEI/AP, and one round HEI-T. The original design called for a higher fire-rate, but GIAS lowered it to 300RPM in fear of overwhelming ACW-01's recoil compensation systems, a fear that was later proven to be misplaced.

Ferok Works PZ-46W Anti-armor Close Quarters Dagger
The Ferok Works PZ-46W is an excellent reason as to why people who do not design or use weapons should not have input on the design of a weapon. Selected from a series of templates to be upsized for the ACW-01, it's inclusion is primarily due to Ferok Works deciding to help fund the ACW-01. Despite the insistence of designers and engineers that any situation which would call for the use of a melee weapon would still end in the loss of the unit, project managers forced the inclusion of this weapon. As a result, four of these ridiculously large, heavy, and wasteful weapons have been installed onto holsters located in the knee pylon, one on each side of the structure. This design reduced the storage space of the pylons by almost 45% while giving little benefit towards the actual walker itself. With an overall length of 90 centimeters, weight of almost 200 kilograms, and construction of solid durasteel it is hard to find a weapon more useful on paper but useless in execution then this blade. Oddly enough the engineers in charge of the creation of the PZ-46W Dagger added a function which allows for the blade to be ejected, turning the hilt into a plasma projector capable of creating a 40cm long blade.

Il-T CS-01G Cockpit
The cockpit developed by Ilen Technologies, it is not much to look at externally. It is a completely enclosed block capable of rapidly ejecting from the back of the walker and can launch the pilot up to 200 meters away. The exterior of the cockpit block is heavily armored and contains multiple inflating emergency flotation devices allowing for easy retrieval in the event of aquatic ejection or touchdown in a body of water. Contained within the cockpit block are several life support systems, scrubbers, emergency air tanks, scrubbers, a power source containing enough power to keep key systems online for 15 minutes, and lights. It also contains an emergency weapon and the entire core's exterior can be ejected by explosive bolts triggered by a hardwired activation system. The entire block is airtight and vacuum sealed as well allowing for limited underwater operation, though it is highly recommended that underwater operations be performed without engine pods and that underwater operations should never be done in saltwater conditions.

While the cockpit itself lacks any primary screen or display whatsoever the helmet issued to pilots contains an HUD screen and is capable of projecting an extremely high defintion display of the world outside, fed into the helmet's HUD by the multiple sensors on the walker. This allows the pilot to see in every direction simply by looking where they want to. Furthermore, the HUD contains a display interface which states the damage of the unit, available weapons, ammunition status of both the weapon and the reserve magazines, fuel, and flight time. In the event of HUD failure, a rudimentary screen can be pulled down from the top of the cockpit, though it lacks the 360 vision of the helmet HUD.

The cockpit is accessed from the top of the unit via a hydraulic hatch, in front of the chest sensor stripe and behind the armored chest. Upon activation of the walker the exterior hatch closes and seals itself via magnetic locks while the core door slides shut and seals itself via pressure differences between the interior of the cockpit and the outside.

Knee Storage Pylon
Located over the knee of both legs, each storage pylon contains two PZ-46W Anti-armor Close Quarters Dagger and can carry either two additional fuel cell per pylon or additional electronics. Additional fuel cells can increase the operational time of the unit by an hour for each fuel cell equipped and the extra electronics can allow for extra encryption or code cracking abilities and faster lock on and response times.

IL-T MCP-02 Storage Pylons 'Magpack'
Usually coming in pairs, these pylongs are equipped on the back, right where the arm is mounted on to the core. Visually, they resemble a pair of cam clamps made of metal, each about 2 meters long, a meter deep, and start off at about 50 centimeters wide though it can expand up to a meter with a 50 centimeter gap in between. Using high powered electromagnets, they hold onto any weapon not currently required by the ACW-01, stock up and grip facing towards the back. When required they can swing over the shoulder where the ACW-01 can then grab it and continue on with it's mission.

Il-T GPU-04WP Compact Fusion Generator
The metaphorical soul and literal heart of the ACW-01, the GPU-04WP generator is a marvel of engineering and designing. Despite it's relatively low output compared to other generators, the amount of energy it can generate and store is astounding. The only reason that the ACW-01 is incapable of operating for longer periods is due to the sheer amount of power required. If equipped to something other than the ACW-01, it can undoubtedly produce a large boon to it's operational time.

Furthermore, the generator is physically incapable of failing explosively due to rupture of the generator container. Due to various failsafes, smart placement of parts, and an extremely strong reactor case, any attack capable of breaching the generator container is likely to completely destroy the ACW-01 along with it. In the event that a breach in the generator container occurs which does not destroy the ACW-01 with it, the entire generator is forcibly shut down as quickly as possible and all systems are switched to an emergency power array containing enough power for 30 minutes of continued operation.

Il-T MUHRSS Mark 02 Sensor Package 'Mirror'
A series of sensors located primarily throughout the ACW-01, these sensors all play a role in keeping the ACW-01. The multiple sensor stripes and sections spotted on the unit are actually a combination of multiple different sensors. Located within these stripes and sections and underneath the glasteel coverings are multiple Night Vision and High Resolution Optics while the head contains a LIDAR System, Thermal Cameras, and additional High Resolution. Furthermore, multiple high definition audio mics are located throughout the frame. There are sensors on the underarm and back of the unit as well. Amusingly enough, when exposed to bright lights, the tinted glasteel glows. There are plans to create an ACW-01 or an upgrade package with enhanced sensors to allow an ACW-01 as a spotter and/or sniper unit.

Limited Flight Systems
Using a combination of repulsors located throughout the machine and engine pods mounted on the rear of the machine, the ACW-01 is capable of achieving limited flight. While the flight system is engaged, the ACW-01 can reach up to a maximum of Mach 2 rather quickly. While it is capable of doing little besides cruising at altitudes just above tree level or as a method to enhance jump heights, this system allows the ACW-01 to bypass defenses such as extremely tall walls designed to stop other conventional walkers and tanks while remaining below the targeting range of some air defenses. However, as stated above, the primary shields cannot be used while this system is active and the engine pods cannot be activated for periods in excess of five minutes as heat buildup can destroy them violently. This flaw is likely to be addressed and fixed in later production engine pods.

Il-T ACWFCS/COS Walker Control Core 'Flare'
The literal soul and mind of the ACW-01, the ACWFCS/COS is a marvel of programming, computer engineering, and actual engineering. A combination of programs, sensors, actuators, pistons, and a single droid brain translate input from the the various controls into movements for the ACW-01. These systems allow the ACW-01 to exhibit a full range of human movements and can automatically compensate for various things such as balance and recoil. However these compensations should not be used to replace actual input as they do not compensate for aim nor does it assist during flight. Hopefully, this will be addressed and fixed in future updates.

Il-T LRC-02 Communication Bundle 'Sheen'
A communication bundle designed to transmit and receive audio, video, and data to and from any authorized source within a 100 kilometer radius. Features heavy encryption and an incredibly high data update and download rate, this allows multiple ACW-01's to work in conjunction with friendly infantry and vehicles. There are currently plans in place to create a specialized ACW-01 variant with an enhanced communication bundle to act as a commander unit.

This is a list of previous prototypes and the equipment, system, and fruits of research that came with their development

MARK-00
First prototype produced, test of concept for humanoid walker. Frame was first developed and refined along with the first generator during this prototype before creation of MARK-01

MARK-01
Second prototype, control input, sensors. and synthetic muscle test. Only cockpit, synthetic muscle, and basic sensors produced. Prototype systems were installed onto the MARK-00 frame.

MARK-02
Third prototype, refined control input, sensors, and synthetic muscles of previous prototype. Essentially upgraded MARK-01. Armor was first developed and installed along with flight systems and control systems. Weapon testing begins.

MARK-03
Fourth prototype and first prototype to not have systems be built on top of the same frame and systems as the previous three. The official pre-production model, all systems and equipment was rebuilt and refined with steps towards mass production. Weapons testing began in full and storage spaces and shields were designed and installed. Generator produced during MARK-00 development is discovered to be inadequate to power the shields.

MARK-04
A first run ACW-01 pulled off the factory floor for testing and creation of the current generator. Technically the final prototype.

This turned out way longer then I was expecting it to. In any event critique, help, informing me that I made some horrifying mistake somewhere, reasons as to why I'm a moron for going through all the trouble for making a giant mecha for SWRP, reasons as to why giant mechas are stupid and should remain a piece of imagination, and pictures of penguins is appreciated.

Out of curiosity, 75, why do you want this walker?
For a character?

Wouldn't power armour suffice?

At twelve meters tall, no wonder most militaries aren't interested. That thing's a low-mobility fire magnet.

It can run almost a hundred miles an hour. That's absurd. Why would they put so much effort into over-developing that when they could've done the same with repulsors and thrusters?

@Cassa/Solaris
Oh, it's for a roleplay that I had in mind which involves stealing the thing for some of the parts and tech located in it. Amusingly enough, I was actually going to mention the sheer stupidity and pointlessness of someone going through all the trouble to develop the damn thing and why anyone willing to spend so much time developing the thing probably should find something better to do in said roleplay. Which kinda ended up reflecting on how I went overboard and ended up over developing the thing. A lot. It wasn't originally even supposed to have half the stuff I ended up putting in it.

As for the speed, that was me forgetting to check all my placeholders. I didn't have a good idea as to what the speed on foot should be so I put in some numbers until I could figure something out. Unfortunately it seems I left them in there. I should probably go change that.
