How do I identify a good thread for my rp character to join? I really don't want to start a new one yet, cause I'm too inexperienced. Thank you all for the advice that you've given me so far it's been very helpful. I hope I don't seem like an annoying fly asking too many questions.

It's just that I don't want to ruin any rp threads by posting in an adventure that would be too hard for my character. Anyone got any advice for my character on any good humanoid (active) rp's out there?

Thank you all for the warm welcome into the Starwars cmmunity!!

Depends on your character. If he is currently in training, you should avoid joining any threads. If it is an independent, than you can really jump into any one as long as it is 'open'(anyone can join). Just look at the posts in the thread and see if you're character could fit into it.

Per Nexus. Pick one in which your character would have a reason to be in and join. However, if they're in training, don't join any threads until the training's over.

How long does the training last? Is one in Jedi training equal to one full human year? Because if so 12 years is a long time to wait to rp! Is there a way that I could start my own (open) thread for young padawans like myself?

It's not really any set period of time. If you or your trainer were inactive, it might take a year but it should take maybe a month at most.

The time a training thread takes is entirely dependent on both the master and the apprentice. Usually it is both your levels of activity that influence how fast the thread is completed and the time that you're on the site. Sometimes it can take nearly half a year to complete one while others can be done within a week or month.
