In a vain attempt to sleep tonight I began thinking about a lot of things. Just a moment ago I began to think about a lot of the new rules and guidelines being formed. I've been playing Morrowind ES3 and I've realized that the application of many of the RPG elements concerning character building can be applied.
I was wondering for force users if farce powers could be put under categories concerning their application. For example, Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, Mysticism, Restoration.
A user of low level could pick to specialize in Destruction and they would be allowed to have some proficiency in Destruction. Maybe a Major and Minor proficiency.
This means that a Padawan could for example Major: Destruction and Minor: Alteration.
A knight could Major: Destruction, Alteration and Minor: Conjuration, Mysticism.
And a master have three. Would this be a smart idea because there are far too many force powers out there for anyone to list knowing them. It's fairly well assumed that a high level character knows things, but sometimes it's a bit on the far side of reasonable. Doing this kind of thing could really organize some stuff.
Please reply quickly, I won't be able to sleep until some replies come in and I have to wake up at 0600 hours.
EDIT: I might be thinking to add Lightsaber Combat to the list as some Jedi are more inclined to be skilled in combat as opposed to the application in the force.
