BIOGRAPHY
Icarus Taes was born to a Sephi mother and a Human father. Not having a home with roots grown, his home was that of a transport ship to which his family lived and worked in. His father operating the ship and transporting goods to different ports across the galaxy while his mother covered the paperwork side of things and looked over the payroll. Icarus never had much of a child hood outside that ship. Playing in its halls and rooms, creating his own world by his imagination and only ever getting off the ship when they landed at a port to drop off goods. Realizing he could small things with not even the slightest of touch from his hands. If he was lucky his family would stay a day or two loading up the ship which gave him time to explore outside and find himself in mischief. They weren't poor but neither rich. Made enough to survive and enjoy the smaller things in life. Though he bared majority of his mothers traits such as pointed like ears and being a bigger child than the rest already hitting 6ft at the age of 16, he managed to keep his skin complexion much like his Human fathers. Tan/sun kissed.

Part of growing up a lot of folk would ask Icarus's parents why was his name so bizarre and what happened to his right eye. Most assuming he lost it entirely which wasn't the case. When Icarus was born he wasn't given a name as his parents thought long and hard what they wanted to call him. Wanting it to be right. It was only when Icarus was 6 when he almost nearly lost his right eye when he snuck off the ship and caught himself wandering the port as he warned not to many of times by his parents. A cable hauling up a crate snapped and let loose as it lashed his face and a couple others near by. The snapped cable leaving a scar over his right eye and wounding the others around him with similar scars to their bodies. When he was brought to the hospital the doctor warned his family he might never see out of that eye again. Though after time and treatment, Icarus would retain full function of his eye though if he left it open for a period of time it would hurt like razors sticking directly into it. Thus being the reason he keeps his eye closed majority of the time and only opens it when needed. This stupid act of not listening reminded his parents of a tale of a young man they heard on their journey across the galaxy and those who travelled across it might've heard it.

The tale is that of a young man named Icarus Zavala. A kid who grew up in the slums in the outer rim but had the exceptional skill of being a racer. He could beat anyone, no matter the ship, no matter the course. He travelled from all over, Tatooine and beyond. The racing got himself out of the slums and made him earn a honest wage. Though his parents begged for him to stop as the sport itself was dangerous. Crashes, malfunctions, cheaters. Those who live that life are only on the edge of a death race. His parents not caring for the fortune he made and getting them out of their debt continued to plead with him on giving it up. Through his ignorance he only continued, narrowing through death itself, skimming by the cusp. Being a few feet away from a falling boulder on the course or an engine malfunction but keeping himself in the race. His fame was cut short when his desire to push himself more ended up in his demise. No one knew who done it, speculation went around, maybe a syndicate? a crime family? other racers? But none the less when Icarus drove his pod on a death race on Theron where he ended up having his ship malfunction and steer him into a stone at lightning speed. The impact was instant and that was the end for him. The story of Icarus was brought down through families and stories to remind their kids growing up to listen and fundamentally about the dangers of hubris, with Icarus's race a metaphor for man's overreaching of his limits. The name stuck and since then, he was named Icarus Taes.

As Icarius grew older he was given more responsibility of his fathers shipping business. Often riding co-pilot alongside him and giving him a hand with loading and offloading transport containers. Though it was honest work, Icarus knew he had a better calling. It wasn't until he hit a port just outside of Felucia when he was approached by a cloaked individual near the port. Weary of this and quite stand offish with the masked figure until he began explaining things that Icarus noticed. How he could feel everything around him, almost like a 6th sense. It explained a lot to the young teenager as the figured continued talking to him. Offering him to be stronger, a better purpose, a way out of this road life. Intrigued and almost infatuated with the offer, Icarus accepted. Though it split his family when he approached them and told them. His father enraged and his mother sobbing. Icarus spent the next 8 years with the masked individual who showed him the way of the force. Master Kraetes disciplined him, molded him, showed him the way of the Sith and warped his mind to their ways and among their ranks.
