Karai chuckled with amusement at the comment, Chasdry bluntness and neutral expression gave nothing away, but the way he said it Karai was managing to catch on to. If a game is how he wanted it, he was willing to undertake it, like any challenge. And in this he saw no loss either way. At least so far. It would be fun and more interesting this way he thought.

As Chasdrym looked upon the food stands, Karai noted his lack of interest at a number of the stalls.

At finding he didn't eat meat, he understood. Although he was half tempted to joke when he said he didn't eat meat. He understood some just didn't enjoy it or couldn't and so he looked for a alternative, soon finding some vegetarian alternatives. Wraps with beans and mixed vegetables, in place of meat. As they were eating he inquired "So you have learnt a bit about my culture. About me maybe, but I'm interested to know more about you...do you hold such festivals? Do you have such dances back where your from?"

The interest was genuine. He was attracted but he needed to know more, and there was much he was interested in about the man. His culture, who he was, what he did for fun other than just baking. He wanted to know it all.

Chasdrym watched Karai prepare the wrap for him, carefully avoiding ingredients that had meat. Like many individuals in the Galaxy, the Sephi being vegetarian was a choice, rather than something that was a rule for his species. The same couldn’t be said about the Annfyns, who had several food restrictions as rules.

They are a bunch of fools.

The Sephi took a bite of the wrap, taking some time to appreciate the taste. “It’s delicious.” he said, after swallowing it. So far, Chasdrym had been appreciating the local food to the point of planning more visits so he could eat more of it.

We have some festivals, mostly related to important events of our story and some to nature, such as the winter dance. But they are very different from this one.” Chasdrym said, still staring at the people dancing. “Our dances and celebrations are stoic like ourselves. Some would think that they are boring, but I have to disagree.” few could understand the nuances that his culture had.

I’ll bring you to visit it for the next winter dance. It’s close to Life Day and these celebrations overlap most of the time.” Chasdrym said, his voice with his typical neutral tone. “Do you celebrate Life Day here?

Karai smiled glad the Sephi approved, understanding of his particular diet. He had no problems with it, each did what was suited to them. Regardless of their various differences, Karai still found himself attracted and enthralled by Chasdrym, one of the few who He could actually speak to at eye level. And those purple eyes were so entrancing. He could tell the man was enjoying the food and was a big food lover. He would remember that.

He listened with great interest as Chasdrym explained his own culture, how festivals related to important events in life, of their story. It sounded pretty similar to some festivals right here, on Korriban. With big events or stories within the lives of the people told in the form of shows and festivals. Such was the case of a birth. He was interested as well in the Winter Dance. And was fascinated at the description of the dance they did.

He answered in reply, a small smile as his leg lightly tapped into Chasdrym as they are crossed, a flirtatious move and all part of the game they were playing. "I would love to see it. Judging from what I have seen of your dancing, they are definitely not boring. I find it interests me more." He replied to the following comment "As for Life Day, somewhat. Although perhaps not to the extent some other species might, ours are pretty low key and place more value on a noble or royal birth and celebrate them with huge celebrations as you saw today. We also have something called Day of the Departed. It happens once a year, and is a reunion or sorts where our dead ancestors are the guests of honor. The Day of the Departed is considered a time for celebration, a joyful time that is used to help us to remember our deceased ancestors, to remember our past and stay connected, to celebrate their memory. Do you have a similar celebration? "

He asked genuinely. the more he got to know, the more he found himself interested and the attraction growing.

Chasdrym remained stoic, even when their legs touched in a movement not even a little bit accidental. If he wasn’t a Sephi, the Acolyte would have raised an eyebrow. He didn’t think that a Pureblood could be so touchy. However, it was pleasant to know that the red-skinned man desired him that much. Unfortunately for Karai, he would need to continue working more.

Do you think? Then, I’ll teach some of our dancing movements.” Chasdrym said. The idea of teaching Karai to dance according to the Sephi culture was pleasant. Perhaps it could be a good second date. He would study this possibility later.

The Sephi listened to the celebrations and holidays that the Purebloods had. He was a bit disappointed that Life Day had little space in the local culture. It used to be Chasdrym’s favorite date, since it was the only time of the year that he received some attention for his family, even when his Force abilities weren’t identified.

I think that I’ll show you how Life Day is in Thustra. It’s really impressive.” he was sure that Karai would be impressed with the show of lights that happened in the capital. “We have some celebrations for the memory of the dead, but my species is long lived. Natural death takes a long time to happen. Birthdays are far more celebrated. Does it happen there?

Karai offered a small smile as Chasdrym stoic at his leg movement. He made no effort to hide he did it, and hoped the Sephi had noticed. It was another part to the great game. He knew more was required and anticipated it, just as he was enjoying paying the extra attention. He offered a smile at the suggestion of learning some dance movements according too the Sephi culture.

He loved the idea of it, and so in a way getting to know more about Chasdrym through it. About him, just as he hoped the Sephi was learning more about him, about his culture and what he liked. He spoke in response "I would love to learn it, and so more about you." He said with a hand upon the Sephi own, in a small show of affection as he explained about Thustra and Life Day.

"I would love to see it, I do like a good festival." When asked about birthdays, Karai considered it and did find they were celebrated just as much, considering life expectancy among their kind was low as it was even more so among the Sith.

"We do they are also a huge affair." he considered his next question "I know you like baking, but what other hobbies do you enjoy? Perhaps we can discover something together." he suggested, with genuine interest and curiosity.

Chasdrym stared at Karai when the Pureblood said that he wanted to know more about him. “The feeling is mutual.” he said, before taking another bite from the wrap. Their time together had been pleasant so far and the Sephi would really like to know more about the other Acolyte.

Then, it’s decided. At the time of the next Life Day, I’ll invite you to visit Thustra.” Chasdrym said, his face stoic as always. He wondered how Karai would deal with the snow that used to fall on his city during that time of the year. If he rarely left Korriban, then it would be a surprise.

The Sephi listened to the other Acolyte talk about the Pureblood’s vision of birthdays. It matched what Chasdrym had expected. With how few of the species were born, it was obvious that they would celebrate any birth that happened.

I like to read.” Chasdrym said, hiding the fact that he also liked to experiment with different types of poison. It wasn’t something that should be said on a date, even less one with another Sith. They could be starting a pleasant relationship here, but who knows how long it would last. “What do you like to do?

Karai smiled at the comment, he was glad Chasdrym wanted to know more and he was more than happy to tell him. As much or as little as he desired within reason. With the more they discovered about each other, the closer they might get and find where it would lead. Although so far he was happy with where it was going, finding the company pleasant and interesting.

Each clearly had an attraction, even if the emotions were one sided in a sense but Karai knew he surely felt something even if it wasn't expressed the same way. He smiled as he spoke about finding visit "I look forward to it and seeing your own home world. Your culture seems as fascinating as you are." he quipped.

He listened as Chasdrym mentioned he liked reading, noting that for later. He could almost imagine being in those arms and listening to great stories both old and new. Karai said nothing about how he loved the thrill of the kill, the battlefield. Although he figured given they were both Sith they knew some things were better left unsaid. They understood each other. At being asked what he liked to do, Karai replied as he looked into Chasdrym eyes.

"Sounds nice, I wouldn't mind A story or two in the future." he suggested, part flirtatious, part truth. "A great many things" he offered mysteriously "I'm sure the more you get to know me, the more shall be revealed. Just as I will about you. However if you want a preview, I do like singing. I can offer a quick performance if you want" he said, happy to provide a impromptu performance.

I can say the same of you. Your culture is fascinating, as much as you are.” Chasdrym said, staring directly at Karai’s eyes. This tour around with the Pureblood as his guide proved to be very interesting, even more with the way that the red-skinned Acolyte interacted with him. The Sephi was loving the attention and the chance to know more about the other.
Obviously, his face showed no trace of it.

It’ll be a pleasure to read you something.” he had an entire library back home from where he could pick any book that he wanted. “When we have an opportunity, I’ll bring one of my favorite books. Perhaps one of the epics made by my people.” which, in his opinion, were far superior to the trash made by the Annfyn.

The Annfyn’s books were so full of cheap sentimentalism that he couldn’t stand to read even one paragraph.

Do you sing?” Chasdrym stared at the Pureblood, not having expected that he was this talent. It was a nice surprise. “I would like to hear something, if it wasn’t a problem.” he was really curious to know how Karai’s voice was.

Karai eyebrow stalks twitched slightly as he blushed ever so slightly, it amused him how his own words were used against him. Although there was no expression, it appeared to his perceptions that Chasdrym liked him both by the comments and by the fact he noted he hadn't left him yet, apparently enjoying the company.

He smiled a little at the mention of being able to hear from a favourite book, an epic of some sort. A story he would enjoy as much as the company. He spoke "I would love to hear it. I do like the old tales of grand adventure and mystery." At the next question, he nodded.

"I do. Hold one moment, and we'll see what we can do, it's not easy without a band but I can improvise" he said, without a proper band around he had to improvise a bit as he said but he smiled regardless happy to provide a sample, using his EZPhone to bring up what he thought would be some music that both would enjoy. It was different than the more traditional music he had heard earlier. More modern.

Karai’s blushing didn’t go unnoticed by Chasdrym. It was adorable how someone so huge was capable of blushing this way. Honestly, when that impromptu date had started, the Sephi didn’t expect that the Pureblood would be a gentleman. It had been a very pleasant surprise.

Then you’ll appreciate the story that I’ll read to you.” Chasdrym said, having already decided the book that he would read to Karai. His expression didn’t show it, but Sephi was looking forward to that opportunity.

When Karai started to sing, Chasdrym listened to it patiently. The Pureblood really had a beautiful voice, something that he also didn’t expect from the red-skinned man at first. “You sing very well.” he said, after the song ended. “Who taught you it?

Karai had also started to notice the subtle changes Chasdrym showed, minimal though they were on the surface. In the Force that flowed between and around them such feelings and affection was harder to hide between the two. Karai was really enjoying his time with the Sephi, even though he knew some might object to seeing them together due to the different species. But he couldn't care less what they thought, he was enjoying himself and this was what he felt he wanted.

Different as they were outside on the inside he felt a connection. Even if they were Sith.

While from the street Karai was not a baffoon. He knew when to be a gentleman and had manners, his mother taught him well. As he listened when the song ended, he nodded approvingly, speaking as the two walked "I look forward to it." He said about the book "Thank you, I actually learnt myself at least most part. Without a tv we were forced to improvise a bit to entertain ourselves sometimes. What about you? We're you much a singer?" he inquired "I think you would have a equally great voice. At least from what I heard so far, perhaps I can teach you a few songs. A exchange for some stories if you like."
