Unlike the Temples on Korriban or Ziost, the Dark Side had not reigned supreme on Coruscant until the Empress and the Sith Order razed the planet to almost nothingness and nearly put several species on the extinction list. Along with the Sith and the Dark Side came all those abominations associated with the Dark Side. Hssiss and tuk'atas now roamed the ruins of Coruscant hunting and preying on the weak; and on those young Sith to eager to do their part but not fully trained properly or lacking the true understanding of the Dark Side. But Grima Volitu, Sith Master and Sith Witch, loved her Order and would not let eager fools throw their lives away as long as they held the title of Sith. So she would teach them, mold them, and turn them into proper Sith.

So when she touched the surface physically after stepping off the ramp of her personal ship Anathema, she could feel the struggles of survival on Coruscant and with that, she felt the Dark Side reach out and caress her mind; and her haunting smile slowly crept upon her face.

Entering the Temple, she ignored the others for she was here to teach three students the Force power known as Force Fear, not to mingle or engage in conversations she had no desire to indulge in. Her views on the teachers at the Temples were no secret, she despised them and she despised their teachings, flawed and water downed. But she pushed aside her thoughts on the politics at the Temple for now and moved through the halls, her boots clicking on the floor and ends of her black cloak dancing about in her wake.

She mentally opened the doors that led into the training room and took the opportunity to meditate and gather her thoughts. Sitting on the floor, she crossed her legs, moved her arms out in front of her; palms up. Closing her eyes slowly she began to fall into the meditation trance until all sounds were drowned out. She and the Dark Side of the Force were now in unison. Through the Force she began to move her mind through the Temple touching the minds of the other Sith, feeling what they felt, "seeing" what they saw, but most of all; reading their thoughts. And for some, their thoughts were betraying them.

She slowly moved back to her own personal thoughts, opened her eyes, and stood ending her meditation trance. Soon the students will be arriving....

"Ngh..." Blue skinned fingers lightly pressed against similarly colour sides of one young man's head, Azur Zaff groaning slightly as something about his mind ached. The strangest thing is that it did not seemed like the throbbing of a natural borne headache, and he had been fine just moments before. If anything, it felt similar to how some among the Sith chose to communicate...
But there were no words here. Simply a pressure upon his thoughts. This was... unfamiliar.
He shook it off, focusing on simply getting to where he was meant to be at this hour. It was a curious thing to realise, but the force seemed to be rather generous to him, as of late. Where Azur had struggled to some of the more focused, smaller scale lessons in the past, now he seemed to be entering into them with increasing regularity. It was as if he hadn't existed in the eyes of his Order up until a month or so back.

Not that he was about to complain, as any opportunity to train with a master was a welcome one. He'd heard some tales of this one in particular - bolstered by his recent attempts to reinforce what he had learned about the world of Dathomir. Training under her would surely see some kind of result, though in what and why, he could only begin to ponder.
Eventually though, he came to the room that was intended as their meeting place. Even among the abyss of the dark side that was Coruscant's surface, and considering his less than passive awareness, he could make out stirrings beyond the door before him. Pausing briefly as he considered the implications of this, Azur made sure to check over himself one last time. Lightsaber, check. Armoured bracers - left in his quarters. His wits... hopefully about him.

Pressing the switch on the door, he found himself gazing upon the woman there, and restraining any potential reaction he might instinctively have. Instead, he raised one foot, stepped inside, and then let the other foot follow, before having the door close behind him.
"Greetings, Master Volitu. I am Azur Zaff, one of your pupils this day." Azur gave a small bow, before stepping off to the side in case anyone else turned up soon. Leaning against the wall as he folded his arms, he observed and attempted to decipher something about the Sith Witch, but...
Some part of him was noticeably distracted for one reason or another. Azur tried shaking it off.

Fear, a useful weapon in almost any occasion. Rook knew how to intimidate others, but using the force to instill fear was going to be a much more intimate experience. Rook entered the class with some trepidation, with any force ability practice was a key part in learning it, and if they practiced on each other, his fears would come to light. Rook wasn't certain how he felt about that, it was a mixed bag, the same nagging feeling he had felt when he learned Force Lightning and Xanthus had used it on him so he would get a taste of the power. But if he wanted to learn Fear, he had no other choice. And Rook wanted to learn Fear.

He entered the room and bowed respectfully, "Master Volitu, an honor to learn from you. I am Rookwrr." He noted that another acolyte had arrived ahead of him. Yet another he had not met. He knelt and closed his eyes to meditate while waiting for other arrivals, he knew there would be at least one more. He reached out with force sense and felt the darkness of the planet wash over him, and felt the echoes of Grima Volitu and Azur Zaff. Volitu exuded power while Zaff was but a candle compared to the master's presence. He waited patiently.

Jaron sighed, walking through the halls of the Coruscanti temple. It hadn't been particularly long ago that he'd been hosting a class himself, in some of the rooms around; but now he was back to learning from others. So, striding about, he continued along to where he was to be learning the rather unimaginatively named power of Force Fear. Rather straightforward, at least, and the power was a useful one. Perhaps not important, but useful; and it could prove just as important as was the mind trick, in defusing situations...or, perhaps, in causing a fight to start. Not everybody would choose the 'flight' reflex, even when it was the Force causing their fear.

Stepping into the room, he sighted Master Volitu, who he was to be learning from. And her reputation preceded her, from what he'd learned of her methods; "Master Volitu. I'm Jaron Unskii, and have come to learn," he said, nodding to the Sith Witch, before looking at those who were to be his classmates. Two he had recently trained, it seemed. He gave each of them a short nod, before clasping his hands behind his back, to await Master Volitu's teaching.

Grima watched the Wroonian move to the wall after introducing himself and making the mistake of bowing. She smiled at the male Wroonian who called himself Azur Zaff then said, "Why did you bow before me? I have earned any respect from you? Is it because I am a Master in the Sith Order and you are trying to butter me up with a bow." Her smiled faded into a venomous stare. She reached through the Force grabbing the Wroonian by his throat and began to add pressure to it as she lifted him off his feet. She let him dangle for a few seconds while his hands scratched at the invisible hands that were cutting off his air supply. She pulled him forward then slammed him hard against the wall. She released her hold on him and as he landed back on the ground she added, "A Sith never bows to another Sith except the Empress herself. Any Sith claiming that you should bow or bend a knee to them is trying to exert their domination over you. I do not require respect to feel my ego nor do I need to be reminded how powerful I am in the Dark Side."

Grima motioned for the Wroonian to stand up just as the second student walked in, a male Wookie. Grima cocked her left eyebrow up for she never met a Wookie Sith before. Yes she had seen some Wookies on a a outing as an Apprentice to their home world and though they were powerful creatures, they had been subjugated and enslaved. She respected the Wookie's power but she scoffed at how they allowed themselves to become what they have become. But before she could greet this massive and powerful creature, he introduced himself and he to bowed.

Grima shook her head in disgust. "Tell me powerful one, after centuries upon centuries of being dominated and enslaved by all sorts of weak and pathetic species, why do you still bow....have I earned such respect," the Sith Witch asks. Before the Wookie could respond, she utters the spell word, "Liudesys" activating the Sith spell Waves of Darkness. A loud roar followed by black misted waves engulf the Wookie dropping him to his knees, as he clutches his head in confusion while despair claims victory over him. Grima speaks the word again and dispels the spell. "Of all the species in the galaxy, you should never bow to anyone ever! You are a powerful and respected warrior race. And now you are Sith! As I explained to the blue-skinned male over there, any Sith claiming or ordering you to bow or kneel before them is seeking to dominate you and as Sith, we are not to be dominated. The only one that has a claim to your bows or kneels is the Empress herself."

Grima's gaze rolls off the Wookie onto her third and final student as he entered the room, a male species she never seen before. The male greeted her and gave a slight nod of his head and Grima smiled at him. "Welcome Acolyte Unskii," she said looking at the other two who were still recovering from their mistake. "Tell me Acolyte Unskii....why did you not bow or kneel before me when you introduced yourself," Master Volitu asked never taking her eyes off the other two Acolytes.

The sith magic rolled over Rook with unstoppable force. Confusion and despair set in, forcing the wookiee to his knees, unable to put up even the most basic defense. A few seconds later and the sensation vanished, leaving behind a shivering wookiee. He stood slowly, forcing himself to control his anger. So kriff him for showing a master respect. Yes, she had earned it by holding the title of Master. If she was weak or unworthy of the title master, she would have been disposed of long ago. Rook respected strength. And had it been a Crusader that attacked him for bowing, he would have retaliated, using his rage to fuel his counterattack. It would be suicide against Grima, however. Instead he buried his rage, he would use it to drive him to achieve more than his fellow acolytes, and to push him forward when he was in doubt.
